Black Squad – Episode 87
Title: "The Groom Vanishes"
(A perfect wedding. A vanishing groom. As the Black Squad investigates, they uncover a trail of secrets, debts, and double lives — and a sinister game that began long before the wedding cards were printed.)
---
[OPENING SCENE – LUXURY WEDDING VENUE, JUHU, MUMBAI | 11:00 AM]
Bride: Shruti Sharma, 26, stares at the mandap in shock.
Guests murmur. Music stops. The priest wipes his forehead nervously.
The groom — Rishabh Goyal, 30 — was last seen entering the dressing suite half an hour ago. Now, he's gone. No one saw him leave. His phone? Left behind.
Shruti faints.
Cut to: Black Squad HQ
---
ACT 1: Case Assigned
Qazi calls the team in.
Rishabh is the only son of business tycoon N.K. Goyal — with ties to high-level defense procurement.
The Ministry wants this solved fast and quietly.
Arjun and Zoya head to the wedding venue.
Imran begins digging into Rishabh's background.
Reet works on tracking his phone and last digital footprints.
> Qazi: "If this is a kidnapping, we find the ransom. If it's a con, we find the motive.
But if it's a murder — we better find the body before the press finds the story."
---
ACT 2: Something's Off
At the venue:
The room Rishabh disappeared from was locked from inside. No secret exits.
CCTV near the corridor has a 15-minute gap — only in the hallway Rishabh entered.
Arjun finds a torn sherwani piece in the bathroom — looks like there was a struggle.
Zoya questions the bride, Shruti. She's in shock, but reveals something:
> "He was acting strange the past few days. Like he was scared of something."
Reet traces Rishabh's activity to a VPN search the night before: "how to fake your own abduction."
---
ACT 3: Past Shadows
Imran uncovers hidden details about Rishabh:
Massive gambling debt to an illegal online ring in Goa.
Secret bank accounts in Thailand and Dubai.
Surveillance from a casino shows Rishabh two weeks ago with a mysterious woman — not Shruti.
The team begins to suspect he staged his own kidnapping.
But then a voice note is delivered to Shruti's phone:
> "You should've never forced this wedding. Your fiancé's blood is on your hands."
The voice is distorted.
Reet confirms the blood found on the bathroom floor is human — and Rishabh's.
---
ACT 4: The Real Twist
They track the voice note origin to a burner phone dumped in a taxi near Vikhroli.
Zoya checks Rishabh's digital files again. Hidden in a locked folder: a video confession.
Rishabh:
> "To whoever finds this, if I'm dead, blame Kunal. He said if I didn't pay… he'd make sure my family sees my head in a box."
Kunal is Shruti's ex-boyfriend — with a violent record and a restraining order filed by her father 3 years ago.
The team sets up a sting.
---
ACT 5: Rescue and Reveal
At a farmhouse outside Mumbai, they raid a hideout.
Rishabh is found — barely alive, tied in a water tank.
Kunal and two goons are arrested.
Turns out:
Kunal discovered Rishabh's debts.
He lured Rishabh into faking a disappearance — but then used it to extort both families.
When Rishabh refused, Kunal tried to kill him and disappear with the money.
Arjun lands a brutal punch before cuffing Kunal.
> "You wanted revenge. You got Black Squad instead."
---
ENDING – WEDDING VENUE, NEXT DAY
Rishabh is recovering. Shruti cancels the wedding, tears in her eyes.
Zoya:
> "Some endings aren't tragedies. They're escapes."
Back at HQ, Reet posts the new file:
Case 088 – The Puppeteer's Room
Qazi raises an eyebrow.
> "That sounds creepy."
