This means that Sosuke has long considered medical reforms and the development of medical ninjutsu.

After hearing this, Tsunade couldn't help but feel even more sympathy for him. She then changed her previous attitude and thanked him.

After hearing these words, Sosuke was overjoyed and quickly replied, "Marry me, Tsunade!"

In the past, Sosuke probably wouldn't have had the courage to say this due to his low self-esteem, but now he was confident, and he wasn't afraid to be the one to ask.

Tsunade already had feelings for him, and upon hearing these words, she thought about how much he had cared for her over the years, she slowly started to find her answer.

After receiving her answer, Sosuke quickly calmed down and said seriously, "After I leave, you must be careful of Danzo. That old man will definitely make a move on you sooner or later!"

At this time, Tsunade hadn't become a hokage yet, didn't know much about the hidden dangers in Konoha, and asked in confusion.

"Danzo may be despicable, but I'm still the granddaughter of the First Hokage. Do you think he would try to kill me?"

Seeing Tsunade's innocence, Sosuke quickly reminded her, "He might not kill you, but crippling you would be easy for him. As for your identity as the granddaughter of the First Hokage, Danzo doesn't care about that at all. Haven't you noticed that in the years when Danzo has been rising to power, the Senju clan has been gradually declining?'"

After hearing Sosuke's words, Tsunade finally started to doubt. After thinking about it, she realized that it made sense.

The Senju clan used to the largest family in Konoha, with many high-ranking shinobi, not to mention the top-tier combat power.

Now, in just a few short years, the clan had declined, and many people inside the clan seemed to die from various accidents, but it all felt strange and suspicious.

After realizing this, Tsunade immediately said, "You mean Danzo wants to replace the Senju and take control of Konoha himself?!"

Sosuke nodded.

Tsunade now understood the danger and quickly nodded. She loved her younger brother and couldn't imagine what she would do if he died.

"I understand, but you're leaving to carry out a mission now, and I'm really scared..."

Tsunade couldn't bring herself to say the rest of her thoughts with fear that her bad luck would cause her to harm her new lover and bring about his death.

Sosuke comforted her, "Don't worry, I've recently gotten stronger. Even if I face an elite jōnin, I can still protect myself!"

Tsunade heard him say this but still didn't feel reassured. After all, her luck had always been so bad.

Moreover, she was well aware of his situation. Even though he always worked the hardest in training, Sosuke's talent was still lacking.

"How about I apply to go on the mission with you? I really can't stop worrying about you."

Sosuke immediately frowned and said, "I'm not some weak man who depends on others. If I need you to protect me on a mission, I wouldn't deserve to be your man!"

Tsunade, however, didn't give up and continued speaking.

Before she could say anything else, Sosuke didn't give her a chance. He kissed her on the cheek again and walked away confidently.

"Don't worry, I'll marry you when I return!"

After hearing the word 'marry,' Tsunade was rendered speechless. She could only silently watch him walk away.

At this moment, Tsunade could only softly say, "Please be safe! I'll be waiting for you!"

Sosuke knew it was risky, but this was a great opportunity. 

If he hadn't confessed now, it would have been incredibly difficult to marry Tsunade in the future.

Once he returned to his simple home, Sosuke changed into his Jōnin outfit and put on his black battle clothes. He then took a short blade, about forty centimeters long, off the wall.

This empty house only had one thing of value—the blade.

Due to a lack of funds, he could only afford a short sword. He couldn't compare to someone like Sasuke, who had weapons like the Kusanagi Sword right from the start.

After gently stroking the short sword in his hand, Sosuke said with deep emotion, "Old friend, it's time for us to work together again..."

He said this as if the knife was the woman he loved most.
