"We can go back now," Aiden said after a long silence between them. His voice was quieter now, like the weight of the night had settled over him.
Lucian didn't answer immediately. His grip on Aiden tightened for just a second, barely noticeable, but enough for Aiden to feel it.
"No," Lucian murmured at last. His voice was softer this time, almost hesitant. "I mean… just a minute."
Aiden chuckled, unable to hide his amusement.
Lucian raised his head slightly, eyeing him with suspicion. "What?"
"Nothing," Aiden lied, but the smirk on his lips gave him away. He found it funny, how Lucian seemed almost desperate to stay there, holding him, as if letting go wasn't an option.
Lucian narrowed his eyes but didn't push. Instead, his gaze lingered on Aiden's face, his expression unreadable yet intense.
Aiden shifted under the weight of that stare, his voice dropping to a whisper. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Nothing," Lucian muttered, turning his head slightly to the side, as if trying to hide whatever was in his eyes.
Aiden wasn't having it.
He reached up, gently cupping Lucian's cheek, guiding his face back toward him.
The warmth of Lucian's skin beneath his fingers made Aiden's stomach twist in a way he didn't expect.
"Come on, tell me," Aiden coaxed, voice teasing but layered with something softer, something curious.
Lucian swallowed, and to Aiden's shock, there was a faint pink dusting the sharp line of his cheekbones. Was he blushing? Lucian?
Aiden had never seen him like this before. Not just like this- but nothing almost like that. His face was always rigid. And when there was another expression then it was a mocking smirk, a frustrated one.
Lucian hesitated, then finally spoke, his voice quieter than before. "I'm looking at you like that because…" He trailed off, his jaw tightening for a second.
Aiden's heart stuttered. "Because?"
Lucian exhaled, something shifting in his eyes, something raw. "I just realized how... uh... your face." He stopped again as if trying to find right words.
"What about my face?" Aiden insisted.
"Look good." His voice was steady, but there was an unspoken intensity behind it. "Your eyes… your lips… they're intoxicating."
Aiden almost forgot how to breathe. Was that Actually lucian?! It seemed like Lucian was not himself.
And it started to worry Aiden because he knew, if Lucian wasn't himself at that time... he would just snap out of it and he would be ignoring him again.
But Aiden decided to ignore the voice in his head.
For a second, it felt like the world around them had gone still.
The air between them thickened, charged with something unspoken, something neither of them had been willing to acknowledge before.
Lucian lifted a hand, brushing his thumb slowly over Aiden's lower lip. The touch was light, barely there, but Aiden felt it everywhere.
Aiden's breath caught as Lucian's thumb brushed lightly over his lips, tracing the shape with a softness that contradicted the sharpness of his words.
"Kiss me," Aiden whispered, his breath warm against Lucian's fingertips.
Lucian's gaze flickered between Aiden's lips and his eyes, hesitation flashing across his face. "You want to kiss?"
"Yes," Aiden admitted, his heartbeat racing.
Lucian inhaled deeply, though unnoticeable. "I'm not doing it."
Aiden blinked in surprise. "You're not?"
Lucian shook his head, a stubborn smirk forming on his lips. "No."
Aiden raised a brow, "Why?"
"Because you did something unreasonable today, and it still upset me." Lucian replied, his voice dropping to a lower, firmer tone.
Aiden rolled his eyes. "Oh, here we go."
Lucian's grip on him didn't loosen. If anything, it tightened slightly, grounding Aiden in the moment. "So, first, promise me you'll never come to parties like these again."
Aiden sighed dramatically. "Still jealous because of what you saw?"
Lucian's jaw clenched, but he didn't deny it. "I just don't want you involving yourself in places like these," he said instead, his voice laced with something deeper than just jealousy. Worry. Concern.
Aiden tilted his head, studying him. "Okay," he finally agreed, though not without conditions of his own. "But first, promise me you won't change your mind about us."
Lucian hesitated. It wasn't out of doubt, it was the weight of the promise, the reality of what they were stepping into. Even if they hadn't really talked about the "US". After a moment, he nodded. "I won't."
The second the words left his lips, Aiden's heart raced in joy.
He reached up, wrapping his fingers around the back of Lucian's neck, and pulled him down into a kiss.
Lucian made a soft, surprised sound against his lips, but he didn't pull away. If anything, it seemed like the last string of his restraint snapped, and he was suddenly kissing Aiden back with everything he had held back for so long.
The kiss started slow, uncertain, but quickly turned desperate.
Lucian's hands moved, one sliding up Aiden's side, fingers grazing over the fabric of his shirt as if memorizing the shape of him.
The other tangled into Aiden's hair, gripping it just enough to tilt his head and deepen the kiss.
Aiden sighed into him, parting his lips, and Lucian took full advantage. He kissed him deeper, harder, his tongue slipping into Aiden's mouth in a way that made Aiden's entire body heat up.
The taste of him, faint traces of alcohol mixed with something distinctly Aiden- was intoxicating.
Lucian found himself craving more, his body pressing flush against Aiden's, pinning him down as if he were afraid he would disappear.
Aiden responded just as eagerly, his hands trailing down Lucian's back, nails scraping lightly through the fabric of his shirt. The sensation sent shivers down Lucian's spine.
Their movements grew more frantic, their bodies molding together in a way that felt both new and inevitable.
Aiden's hands slid under Lucian's shirt, fingertips brushing against his warm skin. The touch was electric, making Lucian's breath hitch against Aiden's lips.
Lucian retaliated by biting gently on Aiden's lower lip, earning a soft moan from him. The sound sent something wild through Lucian's veins.
He pressed harder against Aiden, his body acting on pure instinct now, wanting more, needing more.
Aiden gasped as Lucian's lips left his mouth and trailed downward, skimming along his jaw, down the column of his throat.
Lucian's breath was warm against his skin, his lips pressing open-mouthed kisses along his pulse point, making Aiden arch slightly beneath him.
Lucian was losing himself in him.
The scent of Aiden, the way he reacted to his touch, the way his breath hitched whenever Lucian's mouth explored a new spot, it was consuming.
Lucian's hands roamed lower, gripping Aiden's waist possessively before slipping under his shirt entirely.
His fingers traced over Aiden's abdomen, feeling the way his faint muscles tensed beneath his touch.
Aiden's hands were just as restless. He pulled at Lucian's shirt, pushing it up in frustration before Lucian finally sat back just enough to yank it over his head and toss it aside.
Aiden's gaze roamed over him, his lips slightly parted as he took in the sight of Lucian above him, shirtless, breathless, his chest rising and falling rapidly.
"You're staring," Lucian muttered, a smirk tugging at his lips.
Aiden chuckled, dragging his fingers down Lucian's bare chest, enjoying the way Lucian tensed under his touch. "Can you blame me?"
Lucian rolled his eyes before leaning back down, capturing Aiden's lips again in another searing kiss. This time, there was no hesitation, no second-guessing.
Their bodies moved together, heat rising between them as their kisses turned deeper, hungrier.
Aiden's hands explored freely now, tracing over Lucian's shoulders, down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them.
Every touch, every kiss, every shared breath was a silent confession of everything they had been feeling for each other.
Lucian kissed him like he had been starving for this.
Lucian's breath was ragged as he pulled back slightly, his forehead resting against Aiden's. "You're driving me crazy," he murmured, his voice rough with desire.
Aiden smirked. "Good."
Lucian let out a soft laugh, nipping at his lips in retaliation, "No, am serious, I feel like there is more I need to do to you, but..."
Suddenly a knock came on the door. "Aiden? You still in there? Everyone left and my parents are almost home, I don't want any sign of a party here... am coming in."
The door opened and the boy stood at the door. His eyes wided immediately. Lucian?! What is he doing here? Thought he left.
The boy remembered Lucian was there, looking for Aiden last night... but what was he still doing there with him in bed?! Did he spent the night with him?!
