Chapter 224: The Luna’s Wrath

Dante wasn't fast enough.

Lilia's claws slashed across his side, blood spraying against the ground.

He stumbled, just for a second.

Just long enough for Bella to lose control.

Something inside her snapped.

She lunged.

Not with precision.

Not with caution.

With rage.

With the kind of fury that had once burned entire packs to the ground.

She slammed into Lilia, knocking her into the dirt, her hands locking around her throat, her claws digging in.

"You think I won't kill you again?"

Bella's voice was a snarl, a whisper, a promise.

"Watch me."

Lilia laughed.

Even as blood dripped down her neck.

Even as Bella's grip tightened.

"You were always so dramatic, little sister."

Bella's pulse roared.

"Shut up."

Lilia grinned.

"Make me."

Bella did.

Her claws dug deeper, her body pressing down, her breath sharp and even and cold.

She had done this before.

She could do it again.

But this time—

This time, Lilia didn't fight back.

She just smiled.

"Go on, Bella."

Her golden eyes gleamed.

"Kill me again. And this time—see if it finally sets you free."

Bella's lungs seized.

Because she couldn't.

Not like this.

Not when Lilia wanted it.

Not when she was playing a different game.

And Bella?

Bella had no idea what the rules were.
