Chapter 10

Hye-ja looked at Nzanzu with a determined expression, using sign language to tell her that it was time to push. Nzanzu nodded, her eyes locked on Hye-ja's, and began to push.

As she pushed, Nzanzu repeated the phrase "Masika, masika" over and over, her voice growing weaker with each passing moment. Hye-ja responded with encouraging gestures, using sign language to urge Nzanzu to push harder.

Nzanzu's mind was racing, her thoughts consumed by a single determination: to protect her child. She summoned every last ounce of strength, drawing on a deep well of resilience and courage.

With a final, mighty effort, Nzanzu pushed the baby out. The infant let out a loud cry, and Hye-ja lifted it up, showing it to Nzanzu. A faint smile crossed Nzanzu's lips and an astonishment as she gazed at her child, her eyes were green shining with a deep sense of love and connection.

Ju-Hoon nodded, and together they took off, using a different route to avoid detection. They ran as fast as they could, the baby miraculously quiet in Hye-ja's arms.
