Chapter 17

Masika and her grandmother were busy cooking in the kitchen when they heard an unusual sound.

The grandmother's curiosity was piqued, and she asked Masika, "What's that noise?" Masika shrugged, unsure of the answer.

The grandmother stepped outside to investigate and was astonished to see a helicopter descending near their homestead.

The villagers, equally surprised, gathered around, mesmerized by the aircraft. Most of them had never seen a helicopter up close before.

As the helicopter landed, the villagers' curiosity grew. Who was inside, and what brought them to their humble village? The bodyguards and assistant emerged first, followed by a young man who seemed to be the centerpiece of the entourage.

As the young man approached, Masika's grandmother stood frozen in the doorway, unsure of what to make of the scene unfolding before her.

Then, the young man called out, his voice trembling with emotion, "Halmoni! Grandmother!" He rushed towards her, tears streaming down his face.

The grandmother's eyes widened in shock as she realized who the young man was. "Hoon? My son?" she exclaimed, overcome with emotion. The villagers watched in awe as Hoon and his grandmother reunited, tears of joy streaming down their faces.

The bodyguards and assistant exchanged curious glances, taking in the surroundings and wondering about the old woman's relationship with their boss. "Who is she to him?" one of them whispered. "Did you see him run to her, crying like a baby?" The assistant raised an eyebrow, surprised by Hoon's display of emotion. "It's hard to believe that our boss, the ruthless businessman, can also be so vulnerable.

Masika's heart skipped a beat when she heard someone calling out for her grandmother, and then she heard her grandmother exclaim, "Hoon!" Masika rushed outside, curious about the commotion.

As she emerged from the kitchen, she saw a handsome young man embracing her grandmother. The bodyguards, caught off guard by Masika's sudden appearance, stumbled backward in surprise.

Hoon, still holding his grandmother, froze as his eyes met Masika's. He was taken aback by her breathtaking beauty. The little girl he had left behind had blossomed into a stunning young woman with striking features.

Masika, overwhelmed with emotion, flung herself into Hoon's arms, tears streaming down her face. "Hoon, you're back! You're back!" she sobbed, clinging to him tightly.

The bodyguards and assistant were still in shock, their eyes fixed on Masika in awe. "Is she an angel or a devil?" one of them whispered. "I've never seen anyone like her," another added.

The assistant couldn't help but notice Masika's unique features. "Her skin is so black, but it shines like silver. And her eyes... they're like nothing I've ever seen before."

As Hoon and Masika hugged, the villagers looked on, happy to see Hoon return.

The bodyguards and assistant couldn't tear their eyes away from Masika, mesmerized by her height, curves, and striking beauty.

After a while, Hoon's grandmother invited him inside, where they sat down to eat and catch up. Despite his luxurious lifestyle, Hoon felt a deep connection to his humble roots and the people he loved.

As they ate and talked, Hoon and Masika couldn't help but steal glances at each other, their bond stronger than ever.
