Chapter 31

On Friday morning, the hairstylist arrives, and Ju-hoon makes arrangements for his driver and bodyguards to escort her to the estate in the evening.

Ju-hoon decides to host a dinner party for his friends, inviting them to meet his bride-to-be, Masika. The kitchen is abuzz with activity as Masika, Mrs. Kim, and Hye-ja work together to prepare a delicious meal.

As the evening approaches, Masika starts to feel nervous about meeting Ju-hoon's friends. Mrs. Kim and Hye-ja reassure her, "Don't worry, darling. You're unique, and no one can resist your charm."

Mrs. Kim adds, "Americans are familiar with black culture, but they might not have seen anyone as beautiful and unique as you before."

With the ladies' help, Masika gets ready for the dinner party. Meanwhile, Ju-hoon welcomes his friends and the hairstylist outside, and they're all excited to meet Masika.

As they enter the dining area, the atmosphere is filled with anticipation and curiosity. The stage is set for a memorable evening, and Masika is ready to make a lasting impression on Ju-hoon's friends.A breathtaking entrance, and a room full of awe-struck guests.

As Ju-hoon settles his friends and the stylist at the dining table, he excuses himself to fetch Masika and Hye-ja. He proudly holds Masika's hand, leading her down the stairs and into the dining area.

The room falls silent as all eyes fix on Masika. Ju-hoon's friends are stunned, their jaws dropped in amazement. The stylist exclaims, "Oh my God, is this an angel?"

Jake, one of Ju-hoon's friends, asks, "Joon, where did you find the most beautiful creature I've ever seen?" Another guest wonders, "Is she even human or an alien? My God, she's breathtaking!"

The room is filled with gasps and whispers, all eyes fixed on Masika's striking features: her piercing green eyes, silver skin, curves, and statuesque height. Ju-hoon smiles, accustomed to people's reactions to Masika's unique beauty.

As he pulls out a chair for Masika and Hye-ja, Ju-hoon introduces them, "Everyone, meet Masika, my wife-to-be, my life, and my everything. And meet my grandmother."

The guests continue to stare, still in awe. One of them asks, "Where did you meet her? Where did you find her? There are no black people in Korea... She's the first one we've ever seen!.

Ju-hoon and Masika share a warm smile, and Ju-hoon suggests, "It's a long story, but let's eat first before the food gets cold. I'll tell you everything when we're in the sitting room."

Mrs. Kim, who's been quietly observing the scene, can't help but feel curious about Masika's story as well.

As they dine, all eyes remain fixed on Masika, who's unaware of the attention. Ju-hoon, however, is attentive to her every need, gently wiping away food stains from her lips while Masika reciprocates the affectionate gesture.

Ju-hoon's friends exchange whispered comments, amazed by the transformation in their normally cold and ruthless friend. "Has this angel charmed him or what?" one of them asks.

Ju-hoon catches their gaze and shoots them a cold, warning glance. His friends quickly shift their attention back to their food, sensing that they've overstepped a boundary.

The dinner continues, with Masika remaining the center of attention, and Ju-hoon watching over her with a fierce devotion.
