CHAPTER 3 - THE CLASH

" I don't know who you are but you're going to pay for what you've done " says Exandra to the masked man as he pointed his blade towards him. " The names Galiard, Galiard is the name of the person that's going to kill you " the masked man replies. Looking at Exandra, " That emblem on his clothes, that's the symbol of lumni knight but it's in gold, that means his... a.. Captain!!" Shinjo says to Arisu, " Captain? If that's the case then we're saved right?" Arisu replies.

Exandra and Galiard charges towards each other, Galiard attempts to punch Exandra, but Exandra blocks the punch with his katana and they both moved back. Exandra rushes to attack Galiard but Galiard vanishes, Exandra turns and looks at a cliff and saw Galiard, Exandra proceeds to attack Galiard, but Galiard vanishes again and appears in the opposite cliff. " You must think you're fast, in that case..." Exandra says, as purple aura begins to emit from his body as he pressed his foot into the ground, breaking it then bursts through the air like lightning towards Galiard and attempts to slice his chest, but Galiard blocks the katana with his hands. " Why do you want to kill me ? Is what am doing wrong? Am just trying to make a population check" Galiard says while smiling in a psychotic manner. This agitated Exandra as he immediately cut off Galiard fingers and stepped back. Galiard was filled with excitement as he says " wow you're so cool, you're the first human who's managed to graze me " he instantly regenerates his fingers. " You humour me" Exandra replies. " But it doesn't appear that he's a normal human, from his face, and his regenerative ability, ur only able to heal a wound but that's not the case" Exandra thinks to himself.

Galiard charges towards him to punch him, Exandra countes with his katana, purple and golden sparks are seen as they continue to exchange attacks.

DROP DROP

They stop attacking as blood is seen dropping on the ground, then we see Exandra's katana penetrating Galiard's fist causing Galiard to bleed " why? Why? With all your strength?" Galiard asks with a smile, Exandra then jumps away after pulling out his katana from Galiard's fist, Exandra proceeds to attack again and they continue to exchange attacks as the move from cliff to cliff through the air. " Amazing they're so fast I can't even follow their movements " says Shinjo " yeah, I can see they're monsters, especially that masked man he just casually deflects a katana with just his fist?" Arisu replies, " so we're going to be like that someday. This is what it means to be a lumni knight, risking your life to protect those who are in danger and you barely know" Shinjo says. " I must get stronger " he vows. " Hey we got to check on Mrs Martha, she might have woken up " Arisu said.

Back to Exandra and Galiard, Exandra slices off Galiard's hands , Galiard jumps away and leaps forward to attack Exandra by kicking him on his head , but Exandra blocks the kick with his hand and was blown away by the force of the kick which blasted him into the forest . " With all this power you still choose to protect the weak ? Why is that? Could you help me understand? A god has no business with trash " Galiard says as he regenerates his hands, then he appears where Exandra was and attempts to slice Exandra's head with his left hand, but Exandra splits the hand in half. Galiard steps back a bit then proceeds again " if you're a knight why haven't you used your magic? " Galiard says and Exandra replies" why I don't want to waste my magic on a moron ". " Moron ? Well why don't we get serious shall we? " Galiard says and there was an insane tension in the air.

Meanwhile Arisu and Shinjo were taking the kids they found along the way to a shelter then an insane pressure came all over them. It felt as if the air was thick and could crush them and brings them on their knees and causing the kids to have a nose bleed. " Don't tell me that they had been fighting with just their physical strength? " Shinjo said.

Back to Exandra and Galiard, the leaf stalk that hung like a cigarette in Exandra's mouth began to evaporate, steam started to emit from his katana and body " get serious you say, i was also thinking the same" Exandra says. Galiard stretches forth his right hand while he puts the left in his pocket " Gold magic : Rays of light ". In that moment countless rays from the sky heads towards Exandra causing a series of explosions getting close to Exandra," Flame magic; Flame style 6 th form : Drifting Waves " Exandra says and swings his katana in all directions. From the point of the slash, purple flames came out and heads towards the rays of light and on impact, they cause series of huge explosions. When the smoke from the explosion began to clear, Exandra started circling around Galiard but, golden circular saws were spinning as headed for Exandra. " Flame magic ; flame style 4th form: Hatch " Exandra says as he jumps up and uses his katana to swing in a spherical manner, purple flames emerged from the point of the swings , covers him like a spherical net and expands countering the golden circular saws. Exandra was pushed back from the explosions created when the circular saws were countered and the the clothing on his left arm had burnt, he rushes towards Galiard but the ground started to break and get bright, as a ray of light shot out of the ground Exandra felt surprised, but more followed immediately from the sky and ground as well at once " you got to be kidding " Exandra says as everywhere started to become bright and, little of Exandra is seen and a mighty explosion occurs when the rays intercept each other which caused a huge smoke to fill the air.

" Don't tell me that's all you've got " Galiard says, but a purple sphere is seen flying into the bushes at an insane speed and destroying the trees within it, as he lands the sphere began to fade we see Exandra coming out of it with the clothing on his right hand and leg being burnt, and he was breathing heavily and steam emitting from his body " If I had activated 'Tempest' a little too late I would have lost some of my limbs " Exandra says as he comes out of the sphere . It's then revealed hw hw survives the attack, when the rays where getting closer he places his palm on the air while about to fall due to the rays destroying the ground, " Flame magic: Tempest Void " . Immediately a purple flame emerges from his palm and forms a sphere that covers him the rays intercepts and the explosion occurs.

Back to the present, " That dude is a monster, how hasn't he moved an inch , Tch" . Exandra says as he stays from where he was and uses ' Flame magic; Flame style 6 th form: Drifting Waves ' but Galiard counters the attack by emitting a golden wave from his body before the attack reaches him. " Flame magic; flame style 5th form : Scorching wave " Exandra says as he swings his katana vertically upwards right after the other attack and a purple flame emerged vertical and heads towards Galiard, Galiard had no time to dodge, and the attack hits him explodes. Exandra burst through the smoke and attempts to grab Galiard but it appeared that there was a thin invisible wall blocking him from doing so, but he kept on pushing and yelling " this dude... I can't even reach him? " Exandra thought. Galiard smirks and says " why can't you reach me you say ? " Exandra became shocked as it appeared that Galiard had read his mind Exandra then leaps back. "That's what ever knight I've killed said before they died. But for some reason I've taken an interest in you and won't kill you immediately, but not directly I mean" Galiard says this as he grins while pointing at Exandra with his right hand and his left hand still in his pocket and he started laughing. " Not directly, and he's laughing, that dude is straight up crazy! " Exandra says as he grips his katana tightly .

" Those who've been blessed by his presence I call onto the and command you to... KILL!!! " A huge red wave emitted from Galiard's body which caused Exandra to freeze in his steps. " What the hell was that attack just now, am still in one piece right? Didn't he want to ki..." Exandra thought, then instantly remembers 'Not directly'. As he turned his back an insane pressure came all over him and countless Red rays of light were seen at the village causing numerous explosions. What emerged from the explosions left Exandra in shock as he was speechless and almost lose the grip of his katana as his eyes widened. Ryukus had appeared through out the village.

RYUKU - MASSIVE GIANTS, THEY COULD BE IN FORM OF HUMANS OR ANIMALS, BUT IN THIS CASE THEY WERE GIANT HUMANS.
