Strolling through sixth street

After exiting the subway station, Anby walked down the street. While I observed our surroundings.

As soon as I exited the street, I saw what looked like a toy store to the left, with two lottery machines. Both had small plastic ball's that carried hidden prizes.

What surprised me the most, there was a girl standing there with a small clipboard and a tray with some dennies inside.

"Hmm, I told the boss that we had to add more of the rarer prizes." She muttered, I was curios and soon made my way towards her.

"Hello." I called out to her, causing her to yelp in fright, slamming the tray closed.

"W-welcome to box galaxy, I'm Susie, how can I help you?" She asked while holding the clip board to her chest.

"Sorry for scaring you, I'm new here, and I was curious on what you sell." This causes her to smile and took a step back.

"Well, we mostly sell toys here, nothing much, however." She leaned forward and lowered her voice to a whisper.

"We sell these cool gadgets called w-engines, but I'm told by my boss not to tell anyone about them, since a lot of people really want them." I was confused on why she was saying this, but the sound of a phone buzzing caused her to pale in fright.

"Ah, I gotta go!" She shouted and ran inside the store, only to come back out.

"If you want one, come by later and I can offer you one at a good price." She said and ran back inside.

"Eros, hurry up." I recoiled in fright when I finally noticed Anby next to me, wondering how she was able to sneak up to me easily.

"Sorry, I was just curious about this store." Anby didn't bother to ask me why, only grabbing the sleeve of my shirt and began to drag me away.

"It's just an ordinary toy store, there's nothing interesting about it." I however knew that was false, since Susie herself mentioned w-engines.

"Then what about w-engines themselves?" This time, Anby didn't say anything, but kept dragging me through the street.

As we continued to walk, I soon noticed that it wasn't that big, there was an convenience store, a small time coffee shop, and even an arcade area.

What caught my attention the most, was a ramen shop, the store was run by the owner, who was a creature I had never seen before.

Not only that, there was a music shop that was ran by an android, not like Billy, since it had a feminine figure and a face of a woman.

'I wonder what kind of music they have.' I thought to myself as we walked by.

Soon, we arrived at what looked like a video store, on the display area, I could see different types of movies, tv shows, and documentary.

'Oh sweetie? That's an odd name for a TV show.' I thought, but I didn't dwell on it much.

"We're here, let's go inside." Abby then opened the door, and I followed inside as well.

I had to admit, it felt nice as soon as I was inside the store, seeing multiple types of movies with different genres.

"Look who finally decided to show up." A familiar voice spoke to us, at the counter was Nicole with Billy by her side.

Next to her were two people, one was a boy, while the other was a girl.

The boy had silver hair, his eyes were a mix of green and yellow. The jacket he wore was a dark blue with a black shirt underneath. His pants were a pair of jeans, and his shoes were white with orange laces.

The girl on the other hand had blue hair to At reached her neck, with a jacket that had a mix of black, orange, and white.

She wore a grey skirt, with what a dvd hanging on her waist. Finally she wore Grey shoes with black laces.

"Oh, so this is the guy who you hired temporary." Said the girl, walking towards me and held out her hand.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Belle, and that over there is Wise." She said and pointed at the boy, who only waved silently at me.

"Nice to meet the both of you, Nicole may have introduced me, but I am Eros Voss." I shook Belle's hand, only to feel something that was flowing through her entire body.

More specifically her eyes, as I turned to Wise, I could feel the same energy flowing through his body, and like Belle, the energy was centered around his eyes.

I however didn't let my face change, instead, I made sure to keep my facial expressions calm.

"Yup, but I have to admit, Eros is a weird name." I could only chuckle at her comment and nod my head.

"So I have been told." I replied. "So, are you two the employees of this video store?" I asked, however, Belle shook her head, moving back and placed her arm around her brother.

"Nope, we're the managers of Random Play, the best movie rental store in all of New Eridue." She said with pride and puffed her chest.

"Sorry about her, she tends to exaggerate, but like she said, we're the managers of Random Play." Belle then pouted and nudged Wise on the side.

"Wow, way to ruin the introduction, bro." Wise only chuckled at Belle's action and soon made his way towards Nicole.

"So, like we agreed, you'll have Phaethon help us on extracting my team and the clients item, right?" Nicole asked, Bell only sighed and shook her head.

"Yup, I'll let them know, for now, it's best if you guys rest up, Belle, can you run some errands for me?" Wise asked, hearing this Belle nodded excitedly and soon grabbed my mark.

"Send it to my phone, I'll be borrowing Eros, gonna show him around." Before anyone could say anything, we were already outside.

As soon as the two of us stepped outside, Belle dragged me towards what looked like a news stand, inside, was something I didn't expect.

"Is…is that a dog running the new stand?" I asked Belle as soon as we got close.

"Mhm, that's Howl, isn't he just the cutest?" She leaned forwards and began to rub Howl's cheeks, shaking him.

Belle began to play with him a bit more, but then composed herself and soon stepped back.

"Howl, can I get a scratch card?" Howl only barked once and dove under the counter and popped back up with a small scratch card in his mouth.

As soon as Bell took it, she pulled out a small coin, using it to scratch the grey area.

"C'mon, c'mon, let me be lucky." She muttered while scratching the card, as soon as she removed the last of the material she saw three dog bones.

"Aww man, this sucks." She whined, slumping forward and showing Howl the results, Howl only barked and dove under the counter again.

As he popped back up, he had a small gift pouch in his mouth and placed it on the counter, pushing it forward with his snout.

"Thanks Howl." Howl only barked in response, as Belle grabbed the small ploughing, she led me towards the ramen shop.

As soon as we got close, I saw the same creature that was there from before.

The creature had red skin with a mustache with a large brow, he wore a chef's attire with a small hat on his head.

He also wore a large contraption on his back, however, he looked as if he was in distress and was troubled by something.

"Hey there General chop." Belle greeted the man, causing him to snap out of his worries and turned to us with a smile.

"Ah, Belle, I see you have a man with you. Does that mean you're off the market?" He teased her, causing Belle to roll her eyes.

"Haha, very funny. I'm just showing my new friend around town." General chop then turned towards me, his eyes narrowed and he tried to intimidate me.

"Hmm, at least he's not easily scared, that's good." He closed his eyes and nodded his head.

"I would offer a bowl, but, the order I placed for new ingredients hasn't arrived." He sighed, rubbing his head with one of the hands.

"Oh no, what happened?" Belle asked, her voice full of concern, I however I unconsciously reached for my wallet.

'Ah, right, I'm not in my world.' I mentally sighed, moving my hand back to my side.

"The order I had made was supposed to come by earlier, but the truck made its way into the hollow on fourteenth street." His face then returned to show concern.

"The guy who drops my orders is a regular, I don't know him that well, but knowing that he is inside the hollow, I can't help but worry." He explained.

"Did you at least post the request on Inter-knot?" Belle asked him, General chop nodded at Belles question.

"I did, but there was a new proxy that accepted my commission, goes by the name, Bon Bon." Belle held back a laugh and was hugging herself.

"T-that… thats me." Belle struggled to speak, General chop widened his eyes and began to laugh.

"Hahaha, what an adorable name, Wise must be feeling embarrassed." Belle soon began to giggle, leaning on one of the chairs.

"I-I switched the user name b-before he made the account." Belle giggled uncontrollably, I had to admit, even I was chuckling at what she did.

"Still, I should ha-" However before he could say anything, Belle began to drag me away.

"Hahahaha, okay we'll see you later!" Belle shouted and we soon made our way around the corner, seeing her act like this, I had to ask her about something.

"Belle, are you and Wise Phaethon?" As soon as I asked, Belle stiffened at my question and began to turn too face me.

"N-n-n-n-no, that's just crazy, w-why would you think that?" She tried to sound convincing, but with how hard she was shaking, and forcing a smile, there was no way I could believe her.

"Fine, we're Phaethon." She looked down and looked like she was about to cry, instead, I placed my hand on her head and began to rub it.

I felt guilty at exposing their identity too quickly, so I decided to pretend I didn't ask in the first place.

"Hmm, it seems I misheard you, are you and your brother starting as proxy's?" Hearing this, Belle took the opportunity to play along.

"Y-yeah, General chop is going to be our first commission." She smiled and began to lead me to the toy store.

Where Susie was now stretching her body, as soon as she saw both me and Belle she smiled and waved at us.

 "Belle, oh and Eros, are you here to buy those w-engines I told you about?" Belle looked at me with confusion, so I lowered my voice for her.

"It was the first shop I was interested in when we arrived." As I told her she made a silent oh and the both of us returned our focus back to Susie.

"Belle, the boss has a message for you, but he wanted me to do it verbatim, so here it is." She then coughed into her hand and spoke with a deep voice.

"I've found a new way to source new gadgets. I'm sure you'll like them." I was about to ask her on what her boss meant, but she wasn't done.

"If you are willing to help, the newest batch will be on the shelves soon." Hearing this, I understood what her boss meant.

"Can I assume that something most have happened with the supplies he ordered?" Susie was surprised at my question and nodded head.

"Y-yeah, that's right how did you know?" Her phone then went off, causing her to pull it out.

"Oh, the boss just sent me a message." She then coughed into her hand and spoke with the same deep voice.

"Yes, I would appreciate if you could find it in the hollow's, if you do, I can give you a custom order." She then put her phone away and turned to face me.

"I'll think about it." I replied, but before we left, Susie called out to us, and had a small ball in her hand.

"I almost forgot, this is a small sample that my boss wanted me to give you." Belle was the one who received the strange ball and widened her eyes in surprise.

"Woah, thanks Susie, I'll put this to good use." The two of us then left her, and began to make our way back to Random Play.

"Belle, what is a w-engine?" I asked her.

"Well, W-engines are a type of tool that can give any hollow raiders an advantage, some give a boost in strength, others in speed, and some in agility." She explained and soon handed me the W-engine.

"Here, this is for you since I seems that you'll need it more than me." As I looked at it, I began to observe how it looked.

The ball was entirely grey, except the center, I could see a red hue glowing inside. What I didn't expect, was it to pop open, and I was hit with a small amount of mania, inside was a small red crystal, a mania crystal.

"Eros, you okay?" Belle asked me, I stuffed the contaminated W-engine I my pocket, not wanting anyone to suffer.

"Yeah-yeah I'm fine, let's just head back." Belle shrugged at my reply and walked forward, leaving me alone.

"Not again, I won't let this place be harmed by mania." I muttered, following Belle back to Random Play.

[Welp, guess that's over with, and poor lil' Belle couldn't hide their identity, she so cute, it's a shame she has to suffer, and no that's not foreshadowing. Send them power rocks to show some support! Bye Bye!]
