thrilling saga of Bloodlines of Betrayal: Celestia's Ascension:
The cold night air hit them like a slap as Celestia and her team burst out of Mikasa's compound, gasping for fresh air. The poison still lingered in their lungs, but there was no time to rest. Mikasa wasn't the type to let them escape so easily.
"That was way too close," Adrian coughed, doubling over. "I swear, if I die choking on some villainous gas, I'll haunt you all."
Lucian shot him a look. "You won't die if you stop talking and keep moving."
Dante wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, his expression grim. "We need to end this before she pulls another trick."
Just as he said that, a deep rumbling shook the ground beneath them. The compound behind them lit up in flames, and a deafening explosion tore through the building. The shockwave sent them stumbling forward as debris rained down like fiery meteors.
"Well, that escalated quickly," Kai muttered, staring at the destruction. "Did she just blow up her own base?"
"Classic villain move," Celestia said, wiping soot off her cheek. "Destroy the evidence, make a dramatic exit. Typical Mikasa."
As if on cue, a black helicopter rose from the burning wreckage, its rotors slicing through the smoke. Mikasa stood at the open door, her silhouette framed against the inferno. Even from a distance, they could see her smug smile.
"Did you really think it would be that easy?" she called out, her voice amplified through a speaker. "You may have crashed my operation, but I always have a backup plan."
Celestia clenched her fists. "She's getting away."
"Not if I can help it," Kai said, already tapping furiously on his tablet. "I can hack into the chopper's controls. Give me a minute."
"Lucian, Dante, cover him," Celestia commanded. "Adrian"
"Say no more!" Adrian interrupted, pulling out a grenade launcher from his jacket.
Celestia blinked. "Where the hell were you keeping that?"
"A magician never reveals his secrets." Adrian winked, then aimed at the helicopter.
Before he could fire, the chopper swerved violently, evading the shot. Mikasa laughed through the speakers. "You'll have to try harder than that!"
Kai's fingers flew across the screen. "I've got access! Cutting engine power-now!"
The helicopter jerked, wobbling mid-air. Mikasa's smirk faded as the aircraft began losing altitude.
"That's our chance!" Celestia yelled. "Move!"
Dante and Lucian sprinted toward the crash zone as the helicopter spun out of control, slamming into an abandoned warehouse. Flames erupted from the wreckage, and Mikasa stumbled out, coughing but still defiant.
"You think this is over?" she spat, wiping blood from her lip.
Celestia stepped forward, her blade drawn. "No. But you are."
Mikasa lunged, but she was slower now, weakened by the poison and the crash. Celestia dodged easily, countering with a swift strike to Mikasa's ribs. She gasped, stumbling backward.
Lucian was on her in an instant, pinning her to the ground. Dante aimed his gun at her head. "Game over."
Mikasa laughed weakly, shaking her head. "You may have won this battle, Celestia, but you'll never win the war."
Celestia stared down at her. "That's the thing, Mikasa. This was the war."
Mikasa's eyes widened as realization sank in. The sirens of approaching police units filled the air. The fight was over.
Celestia turned to her team. "Let's go home."
The war was finally won-but their journey was far from over.
Mafia Aftermath & The Great Celebration
The tension that had wrapped around them for weeks finally loosened its grip. Mikasa was in custody, her empire crumbled, and for once, Celestia could take a deep breath without worrying about an assassination attempt.
The team gathered at Dante's private mansion in the countryside-a safehouse, though it looked more like a five-star resort. Celestia stood on the balcony, watching the golden sunrise over the lake, her mind still processing everything that had happened.
"Still thinking about Mikasa?" Lucian's voice was smooth as he joined her, leaning against the railing.
Celestia sighed. "Not really. Just… getting used to the quiet. No gunfire. No explosions. Feels weird."
Lucian chuckled. "You sound disappointed."
She smirked. "Maybe a little."
Downstairs, the real chaos was unfolding.
The Ultimate Celebration
Dante, being the extra mafia boss he was, had turned the victory into a full-blown festival. The courtyard was decked out with string lights, a DJ booth, and an absurd amount of food. Adrian was already halfway through a mountain of steak, while Kai had hijacked the DJ setup and was now blasting questionable music choices.
"Who let Kai near the speakers?" Celestia groaned, watching him drop the bass on what sounded like a remix of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
"I did!" Adrian called out, mouth full. "It's terrible! I love it!"
Dante sighed, swirling his whiskey. "I thought we were celebrating like classy people."
"Dante, you literally ordered fireworks shaped like our faces," Lucian deadpanned.
Dante didn't even deny it. "Yeah, and they'll explode in golden sparks. I'm a man of taste."
Celestia laughed, shaking her head. "This is ridiculous."
Then, Kai turned up the mic. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! IT'S TIME FOR A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY!" He paused dramatically. "ADRIAN AND KAI! DUET TIME!"
Celestia's eyes widened. "Oh no."
Lucian groaned. "Not again."
Dante actually looked concerned. "Someone stop them."
Before anyone could, Adrian and Kai grabbed the microphones and started a completely off-key, horrendous rendition of My Heart Will Go On.
The team collectively winced.
"Kai, what the hell are these notes?" Dante demanded.
"Art," Kai said dramatically, voice cracking mid-word.
Adrian, fully committed, dropped to his knees, belting out the lyrics like a man experiencing deep heartbreak.
Celestia couldn't stop laughing. "This is actually the worst thing I've ever heard."
Lucian sighed. "I'd rather fight Mikasa again."
Just as they were about to throw something at them, fireworks exploded in the sky-golden sparks forming their faces just as Dante had promised. The team fell silent, watching the lights dance across the night.
For the first time in a long time, they weren't fighting, running, or bleeding.
They were just alive.
And it felt damn good.
The Afterparty & Unexpected Chaos
The night had settled into a comfortable rhythm-music, laughter, and drinks flowing as the team basked in their well-earned victory. But, of course, nothing ever went too smoothly when this group was involved.
Celestia was lounging on a couch with Lucian and Dante, watching Kai and Adrian get into yet another ridiculous competition.
"I bet I can drink ten shots in a row without passing out," Adrian declared, slamming his fist on the table.
Kai smirked. "You? Please. I've trained for this."
Lucian rolled his eyes. "This is going to be embarrassing."
Dante took a sip of his whiskey. "And hilarious."
Celestia sighed. "Should we stop them?"
Lucian and Dante looked at her. "No."
The drinking contest began, and within minutes, Adrian and Kai were slurring their words and aggressively complimenting each other.
"You… you know what, Kai?" Adrian hiccupped. "You're like… a really good hacker, man. Like… like a genius."
Kai, swaying in his seat, pointed at him. "And you, sir, are a mafia prince. So cool. So… dangerous."
Dante leaned back, smirking. "I give them five minutes before they pass out."
Lucian checked his watch. "Three."
Right on cue, Adrian dramatically fell off his chair, and Kai, attempting to help him, collapsed on top of him.
Celestia burst out laughing. "Unbelievable."
The Prank War Begins
With Adrian and Kai unconscious, the rest of the team got an idea.
"Lucian, you're good at illusions, right?" Dante smirked.
Lucian grinned. "Oh, I see where this is going."
A few minutes later, Adrian and Kai woke up to find themselves tied to chairs, in what looked like a dungeon, with eerie candlelight flickering around them.
"W-what the?!" Adrian yelped.
Kai, blinking rapidly, looked around. "Oh no… is this purgatory?"
Then Celestia stepped forward in a dark cloak. "You two have angered the spirits by singing horribly off-key."
Dante, also in a cloak, nodded seriously. "The spirits demand compensation."
Kai gasped. "No… not my hacker skills!"
Adrian panicked. "I'll give you all my money!"
Lucian, trying very hard not to laugh, waved a hand, making ghostly whispers echo around them.
Kai screamed. Adrian almost peed himself.
The whole team burst into laughter as the illusion vanished.
Kai groaned. "I hate you all."
Adrian, still shaken, muttered, "I knew I should've never trusted you guys."
Celestia grinned. "Consider this payback for that terrible duet."
As the party continued with more pranks, bets, and embarrassing moments, one thing was certain-this group would never have a normal, quiet life.
And honestly? They wouldn't have it any other way.
A Mafia Wedding… With a Twist
After the chaos of the previous night, the team woke up to an unexpected surprise-an invitation.
Celestia blinked at the elegant envelope in her hands. "Who in their right mind is getting married now?"
Dante raised an eyebrow. "It's from Ryuji."
Kai, still half-asleep, groaned. "Wait… Ryuji? As in Ryuji from Kaminari-kai? Since when does that guy have a love life?"
Adrian, nursing a headache, muttered, "I thought he was married to his katana."
Lucian smirked. "Apparently, he's found someone who can tolerate his grumpy self."
Dante read the invitation again. "We're all invited. And it's… tonight."
Celestia's eyes widened. "Wait...!!!TONIGHT?! Who the hell plans a mafia wedding in less than 24 hours?!"
Kai yawned. "A maniac, obviously."
The Wedding Venue – Chaos Incoming
By evening, the group arrived at an extravagant estate, decorated with thousands of lanterns, cherry blossoms, and gold embellishments.
Everything looked elegant-until they saw the guest list.
"Uh… why are there rival gangs here?" Celestia muttered.
Dante smirked. "Because nothing says romantic wedding like possible assassination attempts."
Lucian nodded. "Ah, the joys of mafia diplomacy."
The ceremony was relatively normal-until the priest said, "If anyone objects to this union, speak now or forever hold your peace."
The room went silent.
Then someone coughed.
Then another person shifted uncomfortably.
Then....
BANG!
A gunshot rang out.
Kai sighed. "Ah. There it is."
The Unexpected Wedding Brawl
Within seconds, half the room was flipping tables, another group was yelling about territory disputes, and Ryuji was standing at the altar, sword drawn, completely unfazed.
Celestia, already used to this level of chaos, sipped her champagne. "Ten minutes before this turns into a full-blown war."
Lucian checked his watch. "Five."
Meanwhile, Kai and Adrian were actively taking bets on who would be taken down first.
Dante, laughing, looked at Ryuji. "You still wanna go through with this?"
Ryuji, dodging a flying chair, shrugged. "Meh. I already paid the deposit."
His fiancée, a seemingly delicate woman named Akari, cracked her knuckles and took down three men in a single motion. "And I'm not wasting my dress."
Celestia grinned. "Oh, I like her."
Eventually, the fight died down, mostly because Akari and Ryuji knocked out half the guests.
The priest, adjusting his robes, nervously asked, "S-so… should we continue?"
Ryuji, wiping blood off his sword, nodded. "Yeah, sure."
And just like that, they actually got married.
The Afterparty (Because Of Course There Is One)
Despite the earlier chaos, the reception was wild.
Kai, still tipsy, decided to officiate another wedding between Adrian and a random decorative statue.
Celestia pranked Dante by replacing his wine with grape juice.
Lucian somehow got roped into playing the piano, while Ryuji and Akari had a knife-throwing competition instead of a first dance.
By the end of the night, Adrian was asleep in a fountain, Kai was arguing with a parrot someone smuggled in, and Celestia sat next to Lucian, shaking her head.
"You know, for a mafia wedding, this actually turned out… decent."
Lucian smirked. "You mean no one died? Yeah. That's a record."
Dante raised a toast. "To love, chaos, and never having a normal night in our lives."
Everyone cheered.
And just like that, another completely insane day was added to their collection of ridiculous stories.
