Eamon has lived his life as if there's no meaning to being alive. The Café was burnt, and his life was also turned to dust after his only love left him. He doesn't eat, he doesn't get doctor appointments, and he doesn't get revenge on whoever is behind Killa's disappearance.
His existence is only visible in his new place, which has become just a habitation, an escape from reality, instead of a home. The silent period had eaten him alive, just like his ears had been quiet for so many years, and he felt like his tragic situation suited an inability part very well at this moment.
No one knows what he has been thinking inside his head. His eyes and reaction are so dull and lifeless. Joe, his assistant, does nothing but stay by his side to keep him breathing. His Boss lives like a pathetic loser for the first time---but not entirely pathetic; he just lives in his head instead of his body. Joe only hopes that his Boss is plotting or pondering about something, but the hope is slightly fading since he's not here, grounded in this earth for too long.
One day, an unexpected guest comes to see Eamon. The assistant who is always guarding the place and stays there helping him doesn't let the guest in. He decides to go to his Boss about the guest, and then he half-heartedly welcomes her.
But it might be helpful.
"You're looking great!!" The lady in pink and blue, the blonde shining hair, gleaming like the sun hit on Eamon's eyes—too bright for him to open his eyes. Eamon slowly walks downstairs and approaches her at the empty chair across from her. His slow movement shows how caring he is for welcoming the unexpected guest, or perhaps it's the first time he leaves his room.
"What do you want?" He asks in his lowest, raspy voice out of his throat. He knows who she is. With one look at her, he knows how this person relates to the person he loves.
Liselotte, Killa's second sister, is one of the Lysanders. She was the one who took his love away. But he's not even budging or giving the vengeance eyes. He gives some respect for coming down here and listening to her.
"Here. It's a souvenir for a sick person...and for apologizing." Lise says and puts down the basket of fruits, snacks, and some essential stuff that the ill person should have. For the specialty, she puts several flowers inside and covers them with gold glitter. Eamon looks at her without emotion as Joe stands behind him, a bit far away but close enough to hear and observe.
"I really didn't know," she says lightly and pauses. "That was Killa's boyfriend's place," she looks directly at him. "I am truly sorry for bombing your house..." she shows the guilt on her face expressively. Eamon reads her lips quietly. "Don't look at me like that. I'm sincerely sorry. I bombed your house after 3-4 days, she came to me." Her eyes widen, feeling terrified all of a sudden. "And she killed all my boyfriend's men...and mine, too!!" She raises her voice and leans her body forward. "She almost killed me. Look at my neck!!" she says and points at her black choker, covering some bruises and scars that are peeking out. Eamon glances at them and back to her face. "I have been wearing this ugly choker for a while now...." She calms herself a bit and rests her back on the backrest. "I've never seen her angry like that before. She was like losing her shit...she lit up my entire house, not just that, she burned all my boyfriend's goods, weapons, cars, everything!!" She expresses, and he's absolutely aghast, but not showing much on his face. "I always knew that she's crazy brilliant, but I never thought I would find out for myself. I thought Yeongho was the scariest. That's why I couldn't deny his order..." She slips her truth. "But I saw her that day. She's on a whole other level. And don't tell her I'm here. I don't want my beautiful head to fall off my neck."
"She's not here anymore..." Eamon finally opens his mouth.
Lise looks at him silently, "Ahh, I see. That's a typical Killa." She chuckles. "When she cares too much, she leaves, you know. It's hard for people like us to be with someone we love...like a normal person. Even if there is someone who wants to be by your side, not for long...they're gone. Because it's difficult to accept the life we have, or just...whoosh-boom."
She says her mind and demonstrates by raising her two fingers and pointing at the side of her head and acting like a gun blows her head off. "But lucky me, I found the lover of my life, the crazy person of my madness. He knows everything I do, but he's still with me. He knows all the risks he has to face. Do you know what is crazier? He's down the road of craziness with me." She is so proud to talk enthusiastically about her lover. "I should tell Killa to find someone who loves her enough to do crazy things with her."
Eamon is silent, and the assistant glances at him occasionally.
"I see you don't make the cut." Lise looks at Eamon with huge blue eyes; people can see her craziness in theirs.
"What is it supposed to mean?" The assistant scolds.
"Cause you don't love her," Lise says,
"I love Killa," Eamon says steadily.
"But not as much as her, I bet." Lise stares at him, provoking him loudly. "She's been silent for a long time, remember the bodyguard guy. She was mad as hell and came back for him, but for you, she fucking burned my house down and almost killed me and my boyfriend. If I didn't beg for my life, she would cut my neck..." She pauses and sighs, "and all of this because of you. Don't you see? You are the most important thing for her right now, and you are just sitting here, letting her go because of what? She just ran away? That shows how much you love a person. God, I'm talking too much; I'm thirsty." She glances at the assistant, who is standing still, ignoring the secret order. "Anyway, I gotta go, so sorry again for what I did...see you if there is a chance, bye." Lise gets up and waves her hand, leaving the house as she pleases.
After the long talk, it was almost a one-sided conversation. Eamon remains noiseless, thinking only of himself. Then, the assistant approaches him.
"Did you know about this?" Eamon asks.
The assistant swallows his saliva, and his deep thoughts have come to the surface. "She told me she was going to take care of it...while you're at the hospital." Eamons stares at him without a blink. "I don't want to say this, Boss, but the crazy lady is a bit right..." he pauses and looks at his Boss directly. "I'm very envious of her...Miss Killa," his eyes soften but filled with shame. "I really—really wanted to get revenge on them because they did this to you, but I couldn't. Because I had to wait to take your order, but Miss Killa, she just went on with it—following her heart." Eamon listens carefully. "I know that she left you alone...but Boss, you never ever find someone like Miss Killa—ever again. She does crazy things because of love, to protect you...it sounds similar to me..." he halts and looks right at Eamon's deepest blue eyes. "She's just like you."
"Why? You want me to get back?" Eamon asks,
"I don't want you to, but after you met her—lived with her. You were more alive—you are happy." The assistant says,
Eamon is listening while holding a silver ring in his left hand. Joe doesn't even know where it came from. "Is that a ring?" he asks, and his eyes open widely. "Don't tell me it was a graduation gift?" Eamon says nothing, but his eyes tell everything. "For Miss Killa?"
"Even you didn't say I already made up my mind..." Eamon says while watching the ring. "She left me alone, she ran away from me, and she wanted to end this..." he pauses, "I should have known what she meant—what she was trying to do," Then he clenches his fist while the ring is covered inside. "I could—be with her, go with her," he says with despair. "No matter what she said, I won't let her go again. If she can't be with me because of this shit, I'm going to do whatever it takes."
"Boss, does it mean—"
"I'll find her. We'll find her. I don't care anymore, Joe. I must hunt her down wherever she is, even if she's hiding from me. I won't let her run away from me again." He gets up. "Who does she think she is? Protecting me by staying away from me?" he glares at Joe. "Who does she think I am?" He chuckles, "Does she even know who I really am? If she wants to end all of fuckers, why didn't she just ask me for help—and still be—with me." Then he lowers his voice.
The assistant listens, frightened by his Boss's reaction, but he feels admired by his ambitious, ruthless eyes, just like in the old days. "That means you are coming back to business—like for real?" The assistant asks to make sure this time.
"Tobe with her...even if I have to take back the throne." Eamon says, "Would you help me?"
The assistant manages his position and stands properly. "I'd be honored to work with you again, Boss," he says,
"Then, let's find my Killa," Eamon says,
