The next few days felt mechanical for Ezra, weighed down by the realization that Rav's end goal is to destroy the world.
It's not exactly something he could forget about.
And so the days pass with a relatively stable flow.
In the morning, he woke up and got his chores done. Oberyn always slept in - for someone who claimed to not need as much sleep as a regular human, the Nephilim sure did love to rest.
Once they were awake, they scoured the mountain for hotspots - places that Rav identified as having high occurrences of monsters. They battled together - Ezra's spear skills and Oberyn's explosive magic proved to be quite an effective duo.
Ezra drained the mana from the enemies they fought and used it to replenish Oberyn's. Between managing Oberyn's mana and dealing with the curse mark, they had to do a lot of hunting for Ezra to stay at a surplus they were both comfortable with.
