Chapter 10:A Night to Remember

Alexa stepped into the crowded nightclub, the pulsating music and flashing lights enveloping her like a warm hug. She was determined to let loose and have fun tonight, to forget about the strange occurrences that had been plaguing her.

Mira, her friend, grabbed her hand, pulling her deeper into the club. "Come on, Alexa, let's dance!" she shouted over the music.

Alexa laughed, feeling a sense of freedom wash over her. She loved nights like this, where she could just let go and be herself.

As they danced, Alexa felt a sense of exhilaration. She was lost in the music, her worries forgotten.

But as the night wore on, Alexa began to feel a sense of unease. She couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her.

She glanced around, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. Just people dancing and having fun.

Mira noticed her concern. "Hey, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice loud over the music.

Alexa shook her head. "Nothing, I just feel like someone's watching me."

Mira's eyes scanned the crowd. "I don't see anyone suspicious. Maybe you're just paranoid."

Alexa nodded, feeling a sense of reassurance. Maybe Mira was right. Maybe she was just being paranoid.

But as they continued to dance, Alexa couldn't shake off the feeling that she was being watched. And then, she saw him.

Lucas Salvatore, the mysterious stranger she had met at the club a few nights ago. He was standing across the room, his eyes locked on hers.

Mira followed her gaze. "Is that the dude you went off with and nothing happened?" she asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

Alexa laughed. "Forget about it, Mira."

But as they continued to dance, Alexa couldn't help but steal glances at Lucas. She was drawn to him, despite the danger that seemed to surround him.

And then, she saw him climb to the VIP section with someone who greatly resembled him.

Mira noticed her gaze. "Isn't that Nico?" she asked, her voice shocked.

Alexa nodded. "I think so."

Mira's eyes widened. "He didn't tell me he was coming here. Well, that's so like men."

Alexa rolled her eyes. "That is what I said."

Mira grinned mischievously. "Do you want to try something?"

Alexa raised an eyebrow. "What did you have in mind?"

Mira's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Let's make them notice what they're missing."

Alexa laughed. "You're on."

Together, they began to dance seductively, drawing the attention of the men around them.

A brown man in a Hawaiian shirt came up to Mira and grabbed her waist, pulling her close. Mira used him as a pole, biting her lip as she danced.

"Lexi, loosen up," she shouted over the music. "You don't have to think about an asshole who doesn't see you."

Alexa smiled, feeling a sense of freedom. She began to dance, her body moving to the rhythm of the music.

A Mexican dude touched her thigh, and Alexa used him as a pole, her black short dress with an open back and only a string holding it together, leaving little to the imagination.

She glanced at Lucas, seeing him staring at her blatantly, his eyes locked on hers. But then, a girl tried to climb onto his lap, and he didn't push her away.

Alexa felt a pang of jealousy, but she pushed it aside. She was here to have fun, not to worry about Lucas.

She turned to the music, her body moving to the rhythm. She threw the man's hand off her thigh, but then she felt a hand on her waist.

She turned to see a guy with a charming smile, and she used him as a pole, dancing seductively.

As she danced, she caught glimpses of Lucas, seeing him watching her with an intensity that made her skin prickle.

But then, she saw Nico pulling Mira onto his shoulder, and Mira winking at her. Alexa smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with her friend.

As the music reached its climax, Alexa felt a hand on her shoulder, and she turned to see Lucas standing behind her, his eyes blazing with intensity.

"Cazzo," he whispered in Italian, his breath hot against her ear.

"Fuck."

Alexa's heart skipped a beat as she felt a shiver run down her spine.

"I wasn't aware I was that distracting," she said, her voice husky.

Lucas's eyes locked on hers. "You make me distracted, and I don't like being distracted."

Alexa grinned, feeling a sense of amusement. "Guess you have a lot of time to be distracted about someone you barely know."

Lucas's eyes turned smokey as if turned on and Alexa gets lost staring at his gray eyes
