I sat up and looked at him, and then quickly looked away, feeling the warmth rush to my cheeks. Did I really just suck off an injured man? This guy was impossible. Beyond bold. My heart was still thudding in my chest, half in embarrassment and half in disbelief.

"What if the doctor finds out?" I asked, trying to sound stern, but my voice cracked slightly, betraying my flustered state.

Heinrich gave me a crooked smile as he zipped up his pants. "He never said no."

I groaned, pulling the blanket over my head. "And he never said yes either."

"Hey," he said, gently tugging the blanket down so he could see my face. "I’m still okay. My wound didn’t open up. I just felt... pleasure." He winked.
