Chapter 2: A Taste of Power

That night, Leon couldn't sleep.

He lay in his bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind buzzing with possibilities.

He'd already begun testing his abilities, reading minds, and manipulating those around him.

His mother. His sisters. Even the maids and guards who served the Astraeus family.

His gift was powerful—terrifyingly so. He could use it to rule this society, to break the system that saw men as mere playthings.

But that wasn't what kept him awake.

No. What kept him awake was her.

His youngest sister, Rose.

Every time their eyes met, her face flushed. She couldn't look him in the eye for too long. She would stammer and blush, completely flustered in his presence.

It was adorable.

And addictive.

And he wanted more.

More of that attention. More of that devotion. More of that innocent lust that she desperately tried to hide.

He knew it was wrong. He knew it was taboo.

But he didn't care.

He couldn't care. Not anymore. Not when the entire world was laid out in front of him, ripe for the taking.

So, he made a decision.

He would seduce his sister.

He would show her the pleasures of the flesh. He would make her crave him. He would make her his.

And it would be perfect.

It had to be.

The next day, he began.

He found her in the garden, reading a book. She was wearing a light summer dress, her long hair tied back with a simple ribbon.

She looked up as he approached, her eyes widening.

"Leon… what are you doing here?"

He smiled, sitting beside her.

"I missed you," he said softly.

She blinked, taken aback.

"I… what?"

"I missed you," he repeated. "I wanted to spend time with you."

Her cheeks flushed, and she stammered.

"I… well… I was just reading..."

He leaned closer, inhaling her scent.

"What book is it?"

She looked down, fumbling with the book.

"I… it's… you wouldn't be interested..."

He took it from her gently, looking at the cover. It was a romance novel.

He smirked.

"A romance novel… I never knew you were so romantic, Rose."

She blushed even deeper, trying to take the book back.

"It's nothing… just a stupid book..."

He held it out of reach, grinning.

"It's not stupid. I think it's sweet."

She looked at him, her eyes wide and vulnerable.

"You do?"

He nodded, moving even closer.

"I think you're sweet, Rose. And beautiful."

She froze, her breath hitching.

"You... you can't say that..."

"Why not?" he whispered, his lips inches from hers.

She trembled, her eyes flickering between his lips and his eyes.

"Because… because you're my brother… and I… I…"

He kissed her.

Gently. Softly. Barely grazing her lips with his own.

She gasped, her eyes widening.

He pulled back, smiling.

"It doesn't matter," he murmured. "You're mine, Rose. And I'm yours. That's all that matters."

She looked at him, her expression torn between shock, confusion, and desire.

"You… what…"

He kissed her again.

Deeper. HARDER.

His tongue invaded her mouth, claiming her, branding her as his own.

She melted into him, her body molding against his, her hands gripping his shirt.

They stayed like that for a moment, kissing, touching, lost in each other.

ThenRose pulled back, her eyes filled with tears.

"Leon… we can't… this is wrong…"

He held her close, stroking her hair.

"It's not wrong," he whispered. "It's perfect. You're perfect."

She cried, burying her face in his chest.

He held her, stroking her back, whispering soft words of comfort and desire.

And as the sun set, bathing the garden in a soft red glow, something changed.

Rose belonged to him now.

She was his.

And he was hers.

And nothing, not even the laws of this world, could stop that.

Back in his room, Leon laid in bed, a small smile playing on his lips.

This was just the beginning.

Tomorrow, he would take his seduction further. He would make his family his.

His mother. His sisters. They would all know his touch. They would all crave him.

They would all be his.

And then, when he was ready, he would take on the world.

He would break it.

He would reshape it.

He would rule it.

And he would do it all with a smile on his face.
