You R my Addiction

Even after numerous calls and messages from Kavya, there was no response from Jyoti, which made her extremely worried. She started getting anxious for Jyoti's safety. She kept looking at the message Jyoti had sent, which said:

"Kavya, I've met with a major accident. Please, I need your help. I'm all alone in a hospital bed here in Bangkok. I don't even have money to pay the hospital bills. Please come to Bangkok as soon as possible, and please don't tell my family anything about this right now, otherwise, they'll be too worried."

Kavya had already read Jyoti's message over twenty times. Her mind was stuck on just one thing — she had to reach Jyoti as soon as possible. She checked all the flights to Bangkok, but there was none available for the next three days. At the same time, Kavya was extremely upset with Vicky, so she didn't want to take his help at all. Besides, if Vicky found out about Jyoti's accident, it wouldn't take long for Jyoti's family to find out either.

In the end, only one name came to Kavya's mind — Manik — because he was the only one who could understand the seriousness of the situation. That's why she went straight to Manik and said, "I need your help."

Hearing this, Manik was so happy inside that he felt like dancing because this was exactly what he had been waiting for.

"What happened, Kavya? Is there a problem?" he asked.

Kavya immediately showed him Jyoti's message. Seeing it, even Manik thought, "Damn, this guy is really dangerous… even I'm starting to worry about Jyoti after reading this message."

Manik quickly made Kavya sit on the couch and gave her a glass of water. She was so stressed and scared that her whole body was trembling. Jyoti was her childhood best friend, and their families were very close. Their families had only allowed them to work abroad because they were together and responsible for each other. Jyoti's parents wanted her to get married and settle down, but she wanted to stand on her own feet first, so with Kavya's help, she took the job abroad. One mistake could bring both of them back home.

Dinesh and Manik knew very well that Kavya and Jyoti were best friends, so they figured the only way to force Kavya to come to Bangkok was through Jyoti.

"Manik, please… can you somehow get me to Bangkok as soon as possible? I'm really worried about Jyoti… if anything happens to her, I don't know what I'll do."

Hearing this, Manik thought to himself, "This girl worries about the whole world… am I the only villain left in her life?"

But seeing Kavya's desperation, Manik told her to relax. "Don't worry. A friend of mine, his dad owns a private jet, so I'm sure he'll help us."

After comforting Kavya, Manik asked her to quickly pack her bags. An hour later, Kavya came out with her luggage and passport and told her parents, "Jyoti had an accident. Her condition isn't good, so I have to go to her. I'll come back soon, but please don't tell her family anything for now — it'll just make them worry."

Reluctantly, her parents agreed to her request.

After a long journey, Kavya and Manik reached Bangkok in a private jet. It was already night, so Kavya decided to visit Jyoti the next day. They stayed in a hotel for the night, where Manik got really annoyed with the hotel staff because they gave them rooms far away from each other.

But right now, Manik's biggest headache was — how to stop Kavya from reaching Jyoti. Because the truth was, Jyoti was absolutely fine, and she had no clue about this evil plan. To solve this problem, Manik called Dinesh, and together, they came up with a new plan.

"You've got a PhD in being evil, haven't you?" Manik joked.

"Yeah, but you're not far behind," Dinesh replied irritably.

The next day, Manik was at a shop buying some stuff while Kavya stood a little distance away, waiting for him. Suddenly, a masked man in a cap appeared out of nowhere, snatched Kavya's bag, and ran off.

Kavya screamed, "Thief! Thief!"

Hearing her scream, Manik ran after the thief, but the man disappeared like an invisible ghost — along with Kavya's bag. Manik returned to Kavya, scratching his head. "Sorry… he got away," he said.

Hearing this, Kavya burst into tears. Her bag had her phone, passport, and all her important documents — including Jyoti's address. Crying, she said, "Now what do I do? I don't even have the address… how will I find Jyoti? She must be waiting for me… I shouldn't have left her alone."

Seeing her cry like this made Manik feel bad. He never wanted to hurt her, but Kavya left him no choice but to play these stupid games.

After a lot of convincing, Kavya agreed to stay with Manik at a beautiful house, as she couldn't go back without a passport, and her budget didn't allow her to stay in a hotel for long.

Kavya looked around in surprise. "Whose house is this?" she asked.

"It's my brother's. He's not here right now, so we can stay here for a few days."

Kavya was exhausted, so she went to take a shower in the room Manik showed her. A little while later, their food order arrived, and they sat quietly in the living room eating. Kavya was still upset, so she remained silent. Seeing her mood, Manik didn't dare say much either.

While eating, a little bit of food stuck to Kavya's lips. Manik gently wiped it off with his thumb and then licked his thumb — a gesture that looked very intimate. Kavya stood up immediately.

"Manik, I'm only here because of Jyoti. Don't get any wrong ideas, and please stop behaving like this — it irritates me."

Manik was stunned for a moment. As Kavya turned to leave, Manik grabbed her wrist, pulled her close, and held her tightly in his arms.

"I know… but as long as you're here, be mine. Once you leave, I won't be able to see you again… so please, baby, don't push me away."

He leaned in and started kissing her lips. Irritated, Kavya tried to push him away, but Manik held both her hands tightly and kissed her passionately.

Suddenly, Kavya freed her hands and pushed him away. "You swear on me, Manik! If you do anything like this again…!"

Saying this, she locked herself in her room and lay down on the bed, thinking, "I have to find Jyoti soon… before her parents find out. Please, God, take care of Jyoti."

On the other side, Manik was furious. He punched the wall and said, "You're so close to me, yet you want to stay so far… What more do I have to do, Kavya, to make you mine?"

Frustrated, he went into a private room and turned on his computer. A smile crept across his face as he saw Kavya on the screen — pacing around her room, checking things. Seeing her so restless, Manik knocked on her door.

"Kavya, open the door."

Reluctantly, she opened it. "Now what?"

Softly, Manik said, "This place is new to you. You're uncomfortable… let me help. I promise, once you fall asleep, I'll leave."

Though Kavya didn't trust him, what he said was true — she always had trouble adjusting to new places, and Manik knew that well.

"No need… I'm fine," she replied.

Ignoring her, Manik entered the room. "I know how fine you are. Now lie down."

Reluctantly, she obeyed. Manik gently stroked her hair, relaxing her. Suddenly, she took his hand, placed it on her chest, and kissed him softly. Shocked, Manik froze — but soon, all his hesitation melted away, and they shared an intense kiss.

But just when things got too heated, Manik stopped, realizing her plan. "You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?"

He left, vowing to not let her leave him.
