The candles cast a warm golden glow over the exquisite bedroom. The air was heavy with the scent of cherry blossoms, roses and jasmine and the soft strains of a lute drifted through the open window.
The princess stood before the mirror, her handmaid, Jade, busy adjusting the delicate lace of her gown. The princess's cheeks flushed with shyness and her eyes sparkled with a mix of nervousness and excitement.
Just as the handmaid finished with her task and left, the princess silently turned to face her husband, King Ryujin, who stood patiently waiting by the bed, his eyes watched her with measured intensity, his face set in a reserved expression.
The princess's heart skipped a beat as the King slowly approached her, his movements fluid and confident. He took her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers and drew her close.
"My dear wife" He whispered, his breath, hot against her ear. "I promise, I'll do everything in my power to make you happy"
As the King's lips sensuously brushed against her's, princess Mei-Ling felt a shiver run down her spine. She knew that this night would set the tone for their marriage hence she was determined to please him.
The King's reserve slowly gave way to gentle passion as he kissed her deeply. He briefly broke the kiss, lifted her bridal style and placed her gently on the bed.
He kissed her again as he passionately stripped her of her clothes, his eyes never leaving her's as he explored her body.
She gasped and cried out as the feeling of pleasure turned to a searing pain as the King finally claimed her but the pain didn't last long because before meeting him, she had drank a tonic given to her by her Kama Sutra instructor.
She had learnt from her instructor that the tonic would help alleviate the pain while heightening her pleasure senses simultaneously so all she had to do was focus more on pleasuring her husband than on the pain.
The King tried to be gentle as he knew it was her first time. He kept sucking from one perked breast to the other while thrusting gently between her inner thighs. Princess Mei-Ling responded eagerly, her shyness melting away as she surrendered to his touch.
As the night wore on, the King's expression transformed from watchful reserve to quiet satisfaction. He was pleased with his new wife but his reserve remained, a hint of caution in his eyes.
The princess, sensing his pleasure, felt a surge of happiness and relief. She knew she had taken the first step in winning his heart but she also sensed that it would take time to fully gain his trust.
After two rounds of heated passion and exhausted, they lay side by side together, the king's fingers intertwined with her's, the princess felt a sense of wonder and awe. She had never imagined that her wedding night would be so...tender.
The King's eyes held a hint of warmth, a spark of connection that princess Mei-Ling was determined to fan into a flame.
As they finally drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other's arms, princess Mei-Ling smiled to herself. She knew that this was just the beginning of their journey together and she was eager to see what the future held.
The next morning, the princess woke up to find the King already dressed and preparing for the day. He smiled at her, his eyes crinkling at the corners and handed her a small exquisite box.
"A gift for my queen" He said, his voice low and husky.
Princess Mei-Ling's heart skipped a beat as she opened the box revealing a stunning silver necklace adorned with a glittering sapphire.
"It is beautiful" She breathed, her eyes meeting the king's.
The King's smile deepened and for a moment, the princess thought she saw a glimmer of genuine affection in his eyes. She felt a flutter in her chest as he took the necklace from the box and fastened it around her neck.
The sapphire sparkled in the morning light and the princess couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and possession. She was the King's wife now and this beautiful necklace was a symbol of their union.
"Thank you my lord" She said, her voice barely above a whisper.
The King's eyes locked onto her's and for a moment, they just stared at each other.
Princess Mei-Ling felt like she was drowning in the depths of his gaze but she couldn't look away.
Then without saying another word, the king turned and left the room, leaving princess Mei-Ling feeling a little bewildered but also strangely exhilarated.
She rang the bedside bell to signal her handmaid and the other servants in. Then she got out of bed and patiently waited for them to get her ready for the day.
She couldn't help but wonder what the future held for her and the king. Would they grow to love each other or would their marriage remain a formal arrangement?
She pushed all these thoughts aside as she watched the servants prepare a bath for her and focused on getting set for the day which she had a feeling was going to be a busy one........
