From a distance, you could see a tower that seemed to reach the sky. The entire structure shimmered with precious jade and colored glaze, every detail exquisitely crafted like a masterpiece of art.
Zhu Zhuyun, Shui Bing'er, Huo Wu, and the others followed the bluestone path to the tower. The entrance was always open, revealing a spacious interior with only a single counter.
At this stage, there weren't many students, and point acquisition channels were limited, so one counter was enough. In the future, when the number of students increased and things got busier, more counters might be added.
The three girls stepped into the tower and noticed a small sign had been set up on the counter. The information was straightforward, listing the floors and the number of points required per day of cultivation:
[1st floor: Double cultivation efficiency – 10 points/day
2nd floor: Triple cultivation efficiency – 100 points/day
3rd floor: Quadruple cultivation efficiency – 200 points/day
4th floor: Quintuple cultivation efficiency – 300 points/day
5th floor: Sixfold cultivation efficiency – 400 points/day
6th floor: Sevenfold cultivation efficiency – 500 points/day
7th floor: Eightfold cultivation efficiency – 600 points/day
8th floor: Ninefold cultivation efficiency – 700 points/day
9th floor: Tenfold cultivation efficiency – 800 points/day]
"It costs so many points just to cultivate here for one day," Huo Wu couldn't help but whisper when she saw the prices.
"I used to think 100 points a month was a lot. I didn't expect the higher floors to be so expensive," Shui Bing'er said, equally shocked.
"Why does the first floor only need 10 points, but the second floor jumps to 100?" Zhu Zhuyun asked the staff.
"The first floor is a benefit provided by the academy to help students with fewer points avoid falling behind," the staff explained. "That's why it only costs 10 points. Based on the 100 points given each month, you can train ten days on the first floor. But if you want higher efficiency, you'll need to pay more to access the upper floors."
After the explanation, the three girls huddled together to discuss.
"We've been here for over two months. We get 100 points added to our phone accounts at the start of each month, so we each have 300 points now. If we want the highest efficiency, we could only cultivate on the 4th floor for a single day and our points would be gone," Huo Wu said with a troubled expression.
They'd thought their hard-saved 300 points were a huge sum. But now it turned out they couldn't even afford a full day on the top floor.
"Maybe we should try the second floor first and see how different it is from the first floor," Shui Bing'er suggested.
After all, they didn't have many points. Without knowing whether the higher floors were worth it, conserving points seemed like the smart choice.
"That's the only way."
Zhu Zhuyun and Huo Wu nodded in agreement.
"We'll train on the second floor for one day," Zhu Zhuyun stepped up and said.
The staff nodded, motioning for them to take out their phones. He then scanned them with a device, nodded again, and waved his hand. A dark vortex materialized in the open space nearby, forming a doorway.
It was the entrance to the second level.
Having been through this once before, the three women stepped in without hesitation. They returned to the familiar cosmic starry sky, surrounded by dazzling light, the space vast beyond comprehension.
A door appeared before each of them.
Zhu Zhuyun knew she could enter her private training room by opening it. She gave the others a nod, then stepped through.
Inside looked much like the room on the first floor—empty, save for a meditation cushion in the center.
Zhu Zhuyun sat down.
Immediately, she felt a rush of fresh air pour in from the crown of her head.
Her condition was better than ever. The Basic Qi Gathering Technique began to circulate spontaneously, the energy absorption and conversion rate three times higher than in the outside world.
And that wasn't all. Zhu Zhuyun noticed her mind had never been so clear—ideas and insights bubbling to the surface. Could this place also enhance comprehension? Maybe even protect from qi deviation?
If her suspicions were right, then this was definitely worth the 100 points.
She couldn't waste a moment.
Zhu Zhuyun calmed herself and closed her eyes, focusing fully on practicing the Basic Qi Gathering Technique. Since she hadn't yet formed her second soul ring, her main task was to reinforce the first one.
She'd need it to be at least several hundred years old before attempting to condense the second. Too weak, and it would affect her combat power. Too strong, and it might hinder future growth.
It was all about balance, and that depended on each cultivator's situation.
She could feel the immense energy of heaven and earth surging around her—pure, boundless, far superior to anything in the outside world. She realized yet another advantage of the Soul Tower: not only speed, but the quality of energy.
Time passed quickly.
When the sensation of accelerated cultivation faded, Zhu Zhuyun knew the day was over.
But the rewards were immense. Her first soul ring had advanced from just over 200 years to 526 years.
Taking advantage of the timing, she formed her second soul ring and broke through level 20. With the intense training environment, her soul power even rose to level 26.
One day of training was equivalent to several months of outside effort. The Soul Tower didn't just increase training speed—it cleared the mind, refined comprehension, and offered purer energy than anywhere else.
The three women exited their rooms simultaneously, smiles on all their faces. They had clearly all gained a lot.
They wouldn't be returning to the Soul Tower again soon, though. Their points were limited. Practicing here every day was too extravagant. They agreed to only come here when breaking through realms, to get the most value out of each point.
Talking and laughing, they returned to the main floor of the Soul Tower. But to their surprise, another woman was already standing there besides the staff. She appeared to be preparing for her own training.
Zhu Zhuyun froze when she saw her.
She had never expected that, after all these years, the two sisters would meet again in a place like this.
Was she also a student here?
