Hwan sipped his coffee, his gaze fixed on Yuna. Watching her live like an ordinary human was strangely entertaining. The poor girl had no idea that the eyes of a demon were locked onto her.

But he would wait. The best games were never played in haste.

Setting his cup down on the counter, he gave Yuna a wink before heading toward the door.

"See you around, little girl."

Yuna frowned. Who was this man?

But she didn't dwell on it. She had a long day ahead.

The Start of a Concert

That evening, Minji clung excitedly to Yuna's arm, dragging her toward the entrance of a massive arena.

"Come on, Yuna! You can't miss the chance to see NOVA live!"

Yuna sighed. The K-Pop world had never interested her much, but Minji had practically forced her into buying these tickets.

"Fine, fine," she muttered. "But don't overdo it, please."

Minji let go of her arm and grinned. "We'll see about that. Once they step on stage, you might change your mind."

The venue went dark. The crowd erupted into screams. The music exploded through the speakers.

As Yuna's eyes unconsciously drifted to the stage, they landed on one person.

Eunwoo.

His eyes… they shimmered.

Yuna held her breath without realizing it. He possessed a beauty that didn't belong to this world.

But something else tugged at her mind.

Had she felt this before?

It was as if, somewhere, sometime… she had seen those eyes before.

But where?

And why couldn't she remember?
