Broken Hearts

Eunwoo's fingers hovered over his phone screen, hesitating. Should he call, or should he let it go?

But when he thought about Yuna's sad eyes, a sharp pain pierced his heart.

Without another thought, he moved.

A short while later, he was standing in front of Yuna's apartment.

Eunwoo took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.

For a moment, nothing happened. But then, the door opened, and Yuna stood there, frowning at him.

"What are you doing here?"

Eunwoo locked eyes with her. "We need to talk."

Yuna shook her head. "I'm tired, Eunwoo. There's nothing to talk about."

But Eunwoo didn't let her close the door. He gently pushed it open and stepped inside.

"You misunderstood, Yuna."

Yuna let out a bitter laugh. "Did I? I saw you dancing with her. And it wasn't just a simple dance, Eunwoo. It was… intimate."

Eunwoo's gaze softened. "It was just my job, Yuna. It was part of the performance. I didn't think she would take it that far."

Yuna remained silent.

Eunwoo took a slow step forward. "But if I need to prove how much you mean to me…"

He gently took her hand, his thumb brushing over her palm.

"It's only you, Yuna. Only you."

Yuna's breath hitched. The way Eunwoo was looking at her, the weight behind his words—it melted something inside her.

But she wasn't ready to give in so easily. "How can I be sure?"

Eunwoo tilted his head slightly, his voice dropping to a whisper.

"Let me show you."

He leaned in, close enough for her to pull away if she wanted to.

But Yuna didn't move.

Taking that as a sign, Eunwoo gently pressed his lips against hers.

The kiss was soft, unhurried. But it carried so much emotion that Yuna's doubts, her pain, everything… simply faded away.

"Trust me," he murmured against her lips. "No matter what happens, I'll always be yours."

Yuna closed her eyes, resting her head against his shoulder.

For a while, neither of them spoke.

Then, with a small smile, Eunwoo broke the silence.

"Should we watch a movie?"

Yuna pulled back slightly, surprised. "What?"

Eunwoo shrugged. "Right now, all I want is to spend time with you. Just us."

Yuna sighed, but a small smile tugged at her lips. "Okay."

They settled onto the couch, Yuna resting her head against Eunwoo's shoulder while he draped his arm around her.

As the movie played, Eunwoo absentmindedly ran his fingers through Yuna's hair, his touch comforting.

But as the night stretched on, his expression grew serious.

Slowly, he straightened. "I have to go," he said quietly.

Yuna looked up at him, sadness flickering in her eyes. "Can't you stay a little longer?"

Eunwoo brushed his fingers through her hair, his touch lingering as he gently cupped her cheek.

"I wish I could…"

But there were things he had to deal with.

With one last lingering kiss on her forehead, he pulled away.

At the door, he paused, turning back with a soft smile.

"I'm only yours, Yuna. Don't forget that."

Then, he walked away.

The sound of the door clicking shut echoed in the quiet apartment.

Yuna closed her eyes, letting the warmth of his words settle in her heart.
