ZILAYEFA CHAPTER SEVEN

After Mr. Stevenson Jnr left, Zilayefa and her siblings prepared a simple lunch of oatmeal, ate their breakfast, and then headed to the farm. As usual, they worked all day, but Mr. Stevenson Jnr did not come to the farm that day. Zilayefa wondered what he meant by saying he would see her later.

After the day's work, Zilayefa and her siblings collected their daily wages and headed home. It was late afternoon when they got home, as they had closed early from the farm that day. After taking their baths, they started preparing dinner.

That's when Mr. Stevenson Jnr came knocking on their hut. Zilayefa asked her brother Bernard to check who was at the door. Bernard went to the door and saw Mr. Stevenson Jnr; he told everyone about who it was, as their hut was very small. Zilayefa asked her brothers to keep the gentleman entertained outside in the shade. They offered him fruit and water.

After cooking, Zilayefa brought out the food and greeted Mr. Stevenson JNR. She told him to join them, and he did. They were all surprised by him, as he was a prince of their village, but he joined them to eat. Their respect for the young prince skyrocketed.

After dinner, Prince Stevenson Jnr invited Zilayefa and her brothers for a stroll. They eagerly accepted, and he took them to a nearby circus. The brothers' eyes widened with excitement as they watched acrobats and clowns perform death-defying stunts.

Prince Stevenson JNR bought them cotton candy, popcorn, and some clothes ,and they beamed with joy. Zilayefa couldn't help but feel happy seeing her brothers so carefree. As they left the circus, Prince Stevenson Jnr suggested they visit a nearby tea house.

Over steaming cups of tea, Prince Stevenson JNR couldn't help but steal glances at Zilayefa. He was captivated by her beauty and kindness. He had known about her father's passing from a friend and admired how she had taken care of her brothers.

As they sipped their tea, Prince Stevenson JNR found himself falling deeper in love with Zilayefa. He remembered the first time he saw her, two years ago, when she was picking fruits with her father. He had been smitten ever since, quietly watching her from afar.

As the evening drew to a close, Prince Stevenson JNR walked them back home, promising to see Zilayefa the next day. As they bid him farewell, Zilayefa couldn't shake off the feeling that she was falling for him too.

That night, Zilayefa lay in bed, her heart racing with excitement. She couldn't believe the events of the day – the circus, the tea house, and Prince Stevenson JNR's charming company. She felt like she was floating on air.

As she drifted off to sleep, Zilayefa smiled, knowing that she had found someone special. She felt grateful for the kindness and love Prince Stevenson Jnr had shown her and her brothers.
