Heaven sent

The stone carefully checked the baby's dantian and meridians to evaluate his talent, but to its shock, the child had no dantian—no core at all.

'What!!! What is the meaning of this?' the stone blurted out, its glow flickering erratically.

It didn't matter if the Dantian was the size of a pea or even smaller; every human was bound to have one in their core. Yet, the baby before it clearly lacked one entirely, defying everything the stone knew about cultivation.

'What is it?' the baby asked, his tiny voice tinged with nervousness as he awaited the results.

'Do I really have no Dantian in my core, like they told me when I was born?' he inquired, his thoughts swirling with a mix of dread and curiosity.

The stone's reaction had only heightened his anxiety, and he braced himself for the answer.

'No, no, no, this can't be. If you were truly born without a Dantian, you would've died at birth.

But you're clearly alive... That could mean...' the stone paused, its glow flickering as if it had stumbled upon a revelation.

Without another word, it began scanning the baby once more, its energy probing deeper this time, searching for answers.

he had a speculation that the baby might have his datian present in his body just not in his core but he wasnt sure as he had never heard of such a thing so he searched the boy thoroughly, but what he found out was far more shocking;

the child doesnt have a datian because his whole body was a datian itself; he could store spiritual qi in every single part of his body.

Not only that, he found out that his meridians were much more complex than a normal person, ' what is this constellation,' the stone stood in awe at the sight of the babys condition.

This body, if trained, could be the greatest gift one could ask for in this cultivation world, truly a heavens sent

The stone had a faint speculation that the baby might have a Dantian somewhere in his body—just not in his core. It was an unknown concept, but the stone wasn't sure.

As it scanned the boy thoroughly, what it discovered was far more shocking. The child didn't have a Dantian because his entire body was a Dantian.

He could store spiritual Qi in every single part of his body. Not only that, his meridians were far more complex than those of a normal person, forming intricate patterns that resembled a constellation.

'What is this...?' the stone murmured in awe, its glow flickering wildly. This body, if trained properly, could be the greatest gift one could ask for in the cultivation world. Truly, it was a heaven-sent miracle.

'Li Wei, so what are the results?' the boy asked again, his tiny voice tinged with nervousness.

'Am I talentless after all???' he pressed, his mind racing with worry.

The stone's prolonged silence and intense scanning had only heightened his anxiety, and he braced himself for the answer.

'What?' the stone snapped out of its thoughts at the boy's question.

'Talentless??? You??? Hahh, don't make me laugh,' the stone replied, its tone exaggerated and almost incredulous.

'If Fang and I had combined our talent at birth, I can promise you that we wouldn't hold a candle to your potential.

That's how talented you are,' it continued, its glow pulsing with a mix of awe and excitement.

The young master was in shock, his tiny mind reeling from the unexpected news. He had braced himself for the worst, only to be told he was a prodigy beyond imagination.

'Really? You're not pulling my leg, are you?' he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

The contrast between his expectations and the stone's revelation left him both hopeful and skeptical.

'Of course not. In fact, it's an honor for me to have this miraculous encounter with you.

I believe it was planned by the heavens that you—a baby with the consciousness of an adult and such immense potential—ended up in this place, where no one could enter by chance.

This land, filled with spiritual Qi, is here because you are destined for greatness,' the stone continued, its glow pulsing with a mix of reverence and excitement as it spoke.

'So, you'll teach me how to cultivate?' the baby asked, seeking confirmation. His tiny voice carried a mix of hope and determination, eager to seize the opportunity that had unexpectedly fallen into his lap.

'I wish I could, little one. If I had the chance, I wouldn't hesitate to be a stepping stone for your future.

But that's not possible for me. I can teach you the basics and the fundamental parts—the rest will be up to you,' the stone said firmly, its glow flickering with a mix of regret and resolve.

It knew its limitations but was determined to give the baby the tools he needed to begin his journey.

'What? But I heard you say earlier that you would've taught me how to cultivate if I were at least a child who could communicate,' the baby insisted, his tiny voice filled with curiosity and a hint of frustration.

He wanted to know the reason behind the stone's sudden change in stance, his mind racing to understand the limitations it was hinting at.

'Hmm, indeed, I did say that. But that was before I saw your Dantian.

Now that I've seen it, I can tell that I won't be with you much longer,' the stone replied, its glow dimming slightly as it spoke.

There was a somber tone to its words, hinting at an inevitable conclusion that the baby couldn't yet grasp.

'What does that mean?' the baby asked, his tiny voice tinged with confusion and a hint of concern.

The stone's words carried a weight he couldn't fully understand, but the somber tone made him uneasy.

'You see, an average cultivator usually starts sensing Qi around the age of 12 and begins their cultivation journey. If they're geniuses, it might happen earlier. In my case, I was able to sense Qi at the age of nine.

When you start sensing Qi, the first thing to do is gather it into your dantian by channeling it through your meridians. You'd gather Qi from your environment or, if you can afford it, by taking Qi pills.

For your case, you're lucky—you're in the center of the forest, where all the Qi veins are connected, creating an abundant source of energy,' the stone explained, its glow flickering as it laid out the basics of cultivation.

'...That's great and all, but what does that have to do with your disappearance?' the confused baby asked, his tiny voice filled with curiosity and a hint of impatience.

The stone's explanation, while informative, hadn't addressed the looming question that weighed on his mind.

Side Note

When one gathers qi in their datian for the first time, they might overfill their datian or channel it in the wrong direction, which may lead to blockage in meridians, so supervision by an expert is advised. As for the MC, he has his whole body as his datian, so this checks out both problems.
