The two needed over ten thousand years to advance.

"Alas, this time is really the best. Later the laws will be difficult to perceive, no matter how much effort is put in, it will be near impossible to accomplish even a small stage without hundreds of thousands of years.

When the two transformed, light came out of the eight treasures lake that had shrunk a lot. First there was a green-gold light that created an illusory world above, the ground was golden-brown, there were bamboos all around, making clear sounds and absorbing all the suffering of the world, above, the sun and moon rotated with great warmth and guiding force.

The other light was a great white-gold light that seemed to put everyone in a state of enlightenment. Even Ran Deng felt a bit and his own mind law seemed clearer to him, the path he created seemed clearer and easier to comprehend.

"Congratulations to the two brothers!" Ran Deng was genuinely happy for this and congratulated with his heart while thinking 'Their talent is so great, Hongjun you really know how to ruin an unpolished jade.'

Afterwards, the three discussed the dao. At one point, when they finished, they also talked about Buddhism and exchanged ideas. At first, it was only Ran Deng talking, but soon the two joined with their own ideas. The future buddhist sect was founded by them, so naturally they had a close connection and understanding of it.

After hundreds of years, Ran Deng asked "Brothers, are you ready?"

Both of them nodded, so Ran Deng stood up, looked at the sky and said aloud "The great dao is above! Today, I, Ran Deng, the innate righteousness and evil, establish the Buddhist Sect! I open the path of Buddhahood with the Foundation of Four Mindfulness and become the Origin of Buddhahood! I will use the first Golden Lotus of Merit to supress the fortune of the buddhist sect!"

Then, Jieyin stood up "The great dao is above! Today, I, Jieyin, the origin of the bitter bamboo that absorbs all suffering, establish the buddhist sect! I will open the path of saving all life with the Amitabha Sutra, open up the Blessed Buddhist Land and will be called Blessed Land Buddha! I will use the Eight Treasures Water Pond to supress the fortune of the buddhist sect!"

Lastly, Zhunti stood up "The great dao is above! Today, I, Zhunti, the origin of wisdom opening bodhi tree, establish the buddhist sect! I will open the path of guiding all life to enlightenment with the Lotus Sutra and use the bodhi tree seeds to open up the wisdom of all life, I will be called the Teacher of all Buddhas! I I will use Mount Sumeru to supress the fortune of the buddhist sect!"

*Boom*

As all three finished announcing the establishment of the buddhist sect, thunder rolled above in the sky. Unlike the later heavenly way that would gift but also poison the sects, the great dao would require those that have great aspirations to withstand the tribulation to be worthy of the great dao merit, which is of a much higher quality and also without any side-effects.

The three just smiled and used their respective treasures.

The thunder was dark-blue, about to fall down upon them, when Zhunti used his seven treasures tree staff. He waved it and a seed seemed to fly out, directly hitting the thunder. The thunder suddenly gained wisdom.

Jieyin then used the six emotions severing bamboo and destroyed the emotions that were about to form.

Ran Deng used his three poison incense and delusion wrafted in the air towards the thunder, then he lit up the righteous heart lamp and created an atmosphere of righteousness.

Through their three actions, the thunder that was about to strike them actually turned around and attacked the thunder cloud!

The great dao didn't seem angry at all, even a bit amused at this, but the tribulation still continued. Every thunder that followed was stronger, but the three repeated their actions and saved many thunder troops for the next tribulation.

The highest tribulation is the nine-nine tribulation, which means that there are nine different kinds of thunders and each of these thunders strike nine times, resulting to be 81 thunder strikes. The great dao is magnanimous and only the dark-blue thunder attacked them, although the power went up, it seemed as if it made things easy for them.

After all, this is the first sect established and it has high aspirations – the great dao can't be bothered to constantly control the world, once the heavenly dao awakens, it will retreat. Now that there is a sect that wants to help the world, it might not be a bad thing to make it a bit easier for them. Anyways, as long as they do well, it will be beneficial to the world.

The great dao controls this part of the chaos and all the worlds in it, so any successful world will bring great benefit to the great dao, so naturally it wants to see the world grow well.

The three made sure not to damage the origin of the thunders, when they were weak, they took them away. These were tribulation thunders of the great dao! Their strength isn't weak at all, and if all are combined and attacked together, even they, three primordial golden immortals, couldn't resist!

After the final thunder fell, the cloud above rumbled and turned from dark into pure gold. Great merit fell down towards them.

It was split into six, each of the brothers gained 20% of the merit, the golden merit lotus also got 20%, while the eight treasures pond and mount Sumeru got 10%.

The water replenished greatly, even more than what was there before, while mount Sumeru's formation was full activated, it even had a tind of gold. The three brothers received the information that this innate formation transformed slightly and it could not only protect, hide and gather spiritual power, it was now also able to transform foreign energies with the guidance of merits into spiritual power.

Ran Deng understood this even more deeply and was astonished, but before he could say anything, he saw the golden merit lotus bloom once more. Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen…

Several layers were added and when it reached eighteen, it seemed as if all the merit was used. Ran Deng reacted fast and injected the merits he just gained into it, instantly blooming the lotus further to the twenty-first layer.

Jieyin did the same, this time only two more layers were added to twenty-third.

Zhunti followed behind and when he added it, it seemed as if the lotus used all the merit and finally formed the twenty-fourth layer!

An illusory golden lotus manifested above it, the three took the chance and sat down, comprehending the new law that was just formed!
