The destruction lotus in the hands of Louhou showed initial tendencies to evolve into a world, to create out of destruction. This would have only been possible after numerous investments by Louhou, and even then, the demon realm was very weak, now, it had suddenly gained the chance much earlier and it was a pure chance generated from the great dao merit.

When Louhou saw this, he felt something in his heart and calculated quietly.

"It seems the west and I have some cause and effect now. The merit is legitimately that of the lotus, but since I benefited from them, I owe them cause and effect. This is also part of my future ascension… if I don't repay it, ascending will be difficult!"

He looked at this, but there was none of the usual ruthlessness on his face, instead, he smiled brightly. Cause and effect didn't matter, even if he had to pay more, as long as he could gain the chance to ascend, he would pay the price! As for how to repay it… with his strength, he had gained many things, repaying it will be easy.

Then, without waiting, he used the merit law he learned and instantly used all the merits he had to form a second merit dao fruit.

The merit formed and bloomed. Since the fruit was external, although one could use it, one couldn't melt it into the origin as the main dao fruit, so instead it remained outside. As it grew, it transformed into a golden merit lotus identical to those in the water, but when one came closer, one would see that it was condensed out of golden light and not solid.

"The first layer is the golden immortal, the second is the innate golden immortal, the third is the great golden immortal.

Three to six layers are early primordial immortal, six to nine are middle and nine to twelve are late. Once one reached the twelfth layer, one has to solidify the lotus with many merits to reach the perfection of primordial golden immortal."

As he said this, his own merit was used. The great merit that he gained was all transformed and finally the golden lotus had six layers, only a short bit away from crossing the minor stage.

Every three layers, there would be a substantial difference in the lotus, the third layer has to condense lotus roots, the sixth layer has to bloom, the ninth layer has to form stems an seeds, and the twelfth layer has to make it solid.

This is a transformation from the virtual into the real, at least visually. Effectively it's only an exponential growth of merits. The benefit of this transformation is the real golden merit lotus one gains when removing the dao fruit.

Although it sounds like one has two dao fruits, in fact the secondary fruit only heightens the stage of the body, so an early stage primordial golden immortal could posses the magical power of a middle stage one. The speciality of the merit fruit is that it can use the merits contained in it to perform spells as a substitute to magical power, but no one would be so wasteful.

This means that when the merit dao fruit is at the same stage as the main dao fruit, it is very useless. Fortunately, the merit dao fruit can form the merit golden lotus, else it would be completely a temporary strength boost at the expense of rare merit.

"Since it has to be close to the body at all times, I might as well use it as a pillow." After saying this, he sat on the six-layer golden merit lotus, hovering in the air, looking majestic. With his robes and appearance, he looked like a Buddha overlooking all life.

After some time, his two brothers woke up. Seeing that he had already formed the law, they followed suit, both of them condensing the same sixth-layer golden lotus without root.

They talked a bit, until Ran Deng said "We need to build our buddhist sect properly, at least we need some buildings. I don't know if the brothers have any ideas? If not, I can build it."

Seeing them giving him space, he used some materials he found around mount Sumeru and used his spells. He was careful and also included thee innate formation of the mountain, it took several decades until he perfect the building.

It was a three-story pagoda with a bell tower at the top, made out of innate gold iron, marble and other stones, shining with a bright golden hue, as if one would gain enlightenment when entered.

He said "The first floor is the hall of endless suffering. Here, the pain of all life is gathered to know the suffering of all life and gain aspirations to save those harmed. The second floor is the hall of great enlightenment, once one suffered, one shall gain enlightenment.

In the future, we can plant the enlightenment tea tree and everyone that enters the second floor can drink one cup.

Finally, there's the hall of myriad paths on the third floor. Every path that has reached Buddhahood will be represented here, so that future generations can learn from the paths walked by their predecessors and create their own path.

At the top is the bell tower of myriad blessings. On normal days, it will be empty, but when we gather together, we will perform the myriad blessings ritual. I will hang my clear mind bell, third brother will add the wisdom and enlightenment taoist light and second brother will use the emotions severing bamboo to strike the bell.

This myriad blessing ritual is supposed to send the sound of blessings all over the world, clearing their mind, eliminating their pain and bringing them wisdom."

After introducing the main building, he introduced other buildings, which were mainly composed of praying buildings, houses for their future disciples and the ten thousand buddhas tower.

Ran Deng didn't plan to create all rituals and such that are part of Buddhism, there would be many disciples in the future and this would be an excellent opportunity to earn merit. He would take all merit if it would benefit others, but if it benefits his own disciples, he doesn't need to be ruthless.
