Chapter 11

Chapter 11

The underworld was shifting. And people were starting to notice.

Alexander sat in his penthouse, gazing at the city skyline. A glass of bourbon rested in his hand, untouched. Beside him, Selina stretched lazily on the couch, flipping through the latest financial reports.

"The first shipment arrived," she murmured. "Intergang's entire warehouse—gone. You really didn't leave them much room to breathe."

Alexander smirked. "That was the point."

A knock at the door.

Selina raised an eyebrow. "Expecting someone?"

"No."

The door swung open, and a bruised, bleeding man stumbled inside. One of Alexander's enforcers dragged him forward before shoving him to the ground.

"Caught him snooping outside," the guard said.

Alexander's gaze sharpened as he stood, stepping closer. "Who sent you?"

The man spat blood onto the floor, glaring up at him. "You really think you can do this? You think you can take over and no one will fight back?"

Selina sighed. "Oh, great. Another self-righteous speech."

Alexander crouched down, gripping the man's chin. "Your bosses… Mannheim? Luthor? Or someone bigger?"

The man gritted his teeth. "It doesn't matter. You're already dead."

Alexander smirked. Interesting.

Selina leaned against the bar. "So, how do you want to handle this?"

Alexander sighed. "Dump him somewhere visible. Let Intergang know I'm not hiding."

Selina raised an eyebrow. "Bold."

Alexander smirked. "Let them come."

That night, Metropolis burned.

Intergang launched an immediate retaliation—gunfights in the streets, explosions ripping through key locations Alexander had seized. But Alexander was prepared. His forces fought back, swift and merciless.

The city descended into chaos.

Superman, hearing the conflict, arrived on the scene. He hovered above the destruction, scanning the streets. Who was behind this? Who was pulling the strings?

And then, his eyes locked onto a rooftop.

There stood Alexander, watching the battle unfold, completely calm.

Superman frowned. Something was very, very wrong.

Would Superman act immediately? Would he investigate first? Alexander's influence was growing, and now, it wasn't just criminals paying attention. The world's strongest hero was watching.
