Taehyung let go of the bag he was holding with a sigh.

THUD

The black bag fell on the floor as Taehyung looked at the condo before him. It was too large and spacious just for one person to live in but it was expected of that guy. 

I knew he was rich but not this rich. 

Taehyung thought wandering his eyes all over the condo. He was envious.

"Why are you standing here like that?" A male voice came from behind him, followed by a closing door. 

"Nothing." Taehyung looked at the owner of that voice turning around.

And there he was, Jeon Jungkook, his only friend and best friend since high school. He didn't know how they ended up being this close but yeah, Jungkook was his one and only friend as Jungkook had always been there at his highest and lowest points. It was an unusual pair but Jungkook was just always there whenever he needed him. 

And now here he was as usual getting help from Jungkook.

"Your apartment is so big for just one person," Taehyung said as he was about to lift his bag which was suddenly lifted by Jungkook. Jungkook smiled and said, "That's why I offered you to be my flatmate. It's lonely with just me here."

"But I feel like I'm imposing on your free space," Taehyung said rubbing his silver hair feeling awkward. 

"Oh come on, Tae. Since when did you start to feel awkward around me?" Jungkook said as he slipped Taehyung's hair strands through his fingers.

"Let's go inside."

Jungkook held Taehyung's hand with one of his hands then Taehyung's bag with his other and pulled him inside

"I swear I'll move out once I get a job."

Jungkook suddenly stopped and Taehyung wondered why. The apartment was silent for a while.

 Did he say something wrong? 

Taehyung was about to break the silence when he felt Jungkook gripping his hand tightly. Jungkook turned and looked at him intensely making Taehyung gulp his saliva. Jungkook looked like he was angry and laughing at the same time. 

"Who told you that you can move out?"

"Huh?" 

Taehyung was confused. Shouldn't he move out once he gets a job? Why would he freeload off of his best friend?

"I mean, Tae, you are my best friend and we have always shared everything. Don't you remember?" Jungkook said as if he was trying to make him remember something.

Well, Taehyung understood what Jungkook said. His hand which was still tightly held by Jungkook was starting to hurt. 

"Yeah."

"Everything that belongs to me is yours too. So stop thinking about moving out. You're also alone and I'm always alone too. You can stay here and give me your company, okay?" Jungkook said making his doe eyes even larger.

And who was Taehyung to say no when Jungkook looked at him with such eyes.

"Yeah, I'll stay here."

Jungkook smiled and rubbed Taehyung's head. "Well, that's how my best friend should answer." Jungkook led Taehyung around his apartment showing the rooms. Taehyung still couldn't believe he was swayed away by Jungkook's doe eyes and smile just like that.

Well, what's wrong with staying together after all he was a BETA and Jungkook was an ALPHA.

There would be no problem.

"And this is your room just across mine," Jungkook said opening the door and returning the bag to Taehyung.

"I'll be in your care," Taehyung said to which Jungkook hugged him tightly.

"I still can't believe you agreed and we're finally living together."

And you are never going to leave this apartment.
