Beta

Being a beta meant being isolated from the norms of the ABO world. Having no pheromones, not being able to smell others' pheromones, no fated partners to have security, and no pregnancy stuff made beta too normal. Sure there were alpha x beta and beta x omega but would beta stand a chance if those alphas and omegas met their fated partner?

No, they wouldn't. The power of pheromones exceeded the power of love. Alpha x omega relationships had security in their relationship with their pheromones and even a child to bond them more together. And betas were just there. Even though they fall in love with omegas or alphas, they could never win against nature. Alphas and omegas were made for each other.

That was what Taehyung had thought his life would be after he differentiated into beta. 

Kim Taehyung was pretty, in fact too pretty, prettier than omegas. Even before differentiating into a beta, he had dated a fair amount of alphas and omegas. His relationships never lasted long because after some time of dating his partners would turn too possessive. Taehyung hated that and then he would cut off his relationship. Taehyung was too cocky because every person he dated would grovel on their knees screaming not to break up.

Taehyung was proud, proud of his beauty which could capture all three secondary genders. But he never fell in love with any of them. He was too romantic for a cocky person because he had believed when he differentiated into an omega, he would meet his fated partner and would only bond with him.

Until that summer when he first saw Jeon Jungkook.

Taehyung had seen all kinds of alphas. Prideful, lusty, possessive, obsessive, aggressive.... those were the words he used to describe alphas and never really liked them. From all the rumours he had heard about Jungkook, Taehyung knew Jungkook belonged to the prideful and aggressive category.

Even in their first meeting Jungkook almost punched him but it was the moment when Taehyung had fallen in love at first sight with Jungkook. It might sound funny but Taehyung was sure he fell in love with Jungkook. After all why not? Jungkook was the dream alpha of everyone moreover Jungkook was a dominant alpha. 

"Take care of your pretty mouth."

That sentence woke up something inside Taehyung. Pretty. Jeon Jungkook called him pretty. It was like one day he just woke up from a random dream where everything was blue and grey and now it was all spring. His heart started to beat loudly, his face becoming red. If Jungkook hadn't walked away, he would have seen Taehyung blusing mess.

Taehyung was teased by Hoseok for a long time. After that day, Taehyung was extra conscious of Jungkook. His eyes always subconsciously followed Jungkook. Taehyung had already decided to pursue Jungkook and he was confident he could make Jungkook fall for him cause why not? He knew how to use his looks to his advantage. 

But the problem was Jungkook always stayed alone, far from everyone's sight. Sometimes he would even skip school making it hard for Taehyung. He had already collected every information about Jungkook from the internet and his observations even knowing Jungkook's address. His gallery was full of Jungkook's candid shots which he shot secretly. Taehyung wanted to make Jungkook his alpha. 

Everything changed once he turned into beta.

Taehyung was devasted. Normally, people would be devasted if differentiated into omega but Taehyung wanted to be omega so bad but fate had another plan. He could never get Jungkook and never be marked by Jungkook. Just imagining Jungkook meeting his fated omega made Taehyung to find that omega and kill before Jungkook met his fated one. 

His mom and dad were an omega x beta pair. Although they had a good relationship, he knew how his mother would be during her heat. How torturous it was for his mother. It strained their relationship because beta could never satisfy an omega during heat and the same went the other way. Jungkook would never be satisfied with him.

Then after some time slowly the isolation from his friends and bullying started. 

Do you think Taehyung was so weak that he couldn't defeat a bunch of alphas? 

Nah....

He knew it was all done by Jungkook. He has always been stalking Jungkook since he first saw him and you think Taehyung didn't know Jungkook was behind everything. He had seen Jungkook saying and paying alphas to bully him, threatening his friends to isolate him even Hoseok.

Taehyung was curious. He was curious why Jungkook wanted to hurt him and make him a loner. It was okay because Jungkook was finally paying attention to him. If Jungkook was orchestrating the whole thing then he would willingly play the act. He didn't fight back. He allowed those alphas to bully him and hit him because at the corner he would always notice Jungkook watching the whole thing.

What did Jungkook want?

That day Taehyung had knowingly walked down the way of Jungkook's home knowing a group of alpahs were following him. He laughed and went to an isolated alley. And there it was, he was assaulted by them. Taehyung had thought they were planning to hit him as usual but they were about to take an extra step, sexually assaulting him. At that moment, Taehyung had thought it was enough. He was about to fight but Jungkook suddenly appeared and rescued him.

Oh, the hero saves the beauty in trouble. Did Jungkook have a saviour complex?

Taehyung took Jungkook's hand appearing weaker and timid. He will feed Jungkook's vanity.

Since that day, Taehyung and Jungkook became best friends but it was trouble for Taehyung because he was pining after his best friend since forever. He was hoping for something to happen which further deepened their relationship.

But what he hadn't planned was his parent's death. Taehyung was grief-stricken and was at a loss the whole time. Jungkook stood by his side for a whole time like his anchor. It was at that time that Taehyung realized he could never let go of Jungkook. Never allow anyone other than him to get Jungkook's care, his warmth, his kindness...his everything.

Taehyung had a heart problem which Jungkook knew. It got worse after his parent's death. He went to the hospital with Jungkook cause he couldn't breathe properly.

After that visit, Taehyung noticed a change in his medicine. Some extra medicine which he never had to take before. He knew Jungkook had done something so went to Namjoon's and asked about it. Namjoon was loyal to him cause his mother once saved his life and Namjoon regarded Taehyung as his own brother so he told the truth. He then learned it was a medicine to convert beta to omega. Taehyung was surprised. He just confirmed two things.

He may change to omega and Jungkook wanted him to be omega. Why would Jungkook feed him this if Jungkook didn't love him? Taehyung laughed from deep inside his heart for the first time and told Namjoon to never tell Jungkook the truth. 

After that, they stayed as best friends believing no one knew each other's true intention.

Taehyung had managed to stay together in Jungkook's apartment. Everything was perfect except Taehyung had noticed hidden cameras after some days. They were everywhere even in his bathroom. Taehyung just learned how freaky Jungkook was. He didn't have even an ounce of privacy in that apartment. Did it bother Taehyung?

No.

In fact, he had always wanted Jungkook's attention all on himself. Every once in a while he would perform little acts for Jungkook who may be watching him from those hidden cameras. Taehyung would even suddenly make eye contact with the camera while masturbating and imagining Jungkook's ( ˶°ㅁ°) !! face.

While tangling with each other during heat, Jungkook marked him completely. He belonged to Jungkook. But what about Jungkook? 

Taehyung made his sound softer acting submissive and weak in front of the alpha who was now too immersed in pride after marking an omega.

 "Can I mark you too? I am scared."

Jungkook looked shocked at first and then agreed. 

Taehyung also then marked Jungkook making sure Jungkook also now only belonged to him.

They went against the law of nature and marked each other.
