Chapter 3 Witness

(The Next Day).

"It's the humans fault."

"It's the humans fault."

"It's the humans fault."

"It's the humans fault."

"IT'S THE HUMANS FAULT."

Waking up slightly after hearing the faint whispers of the dead alpha males and females in his head, their ethereal voices echoing through his mind.

Dai: "It's always the humans."

He mumbles to himself as he recalls the countless faces of the humans he has killed during the war, their screams and pleas for mercy still echoing in his mind.

(In his mind).

"It's the humans who are responsible for our current state. They have altered our appearance and it's time to acknowledge the severity of their actions. Perhaps a more extreme term is warranted to describe the harm they've inflicted. The humans must be held accountable."

(Out of his mind).

(At Kai's House).

Unknown Voice: "Madness is the humans did it first why aren't they to blame forcing those to do the dirty work and then the ones who are forced get blame in the end."

Waking up slightly after hearing a faint, unfamiliar voice echoing in his mind, he lies back down on the creaky bed, staring blankly up at the cracked ceiling as he recalls the ominous words of the higher-ups, the threats from the humans of torture and death looming over him like a specter, casting a dark shadow over the new day.

(Flashback at the higher ups)

Uwu cat Higher Up: "Humans were the creators of the Uwu cats and other creatures that live in this world. But one day an human decided to create a video that made an Uwu cat have heat with alpha wolf and published it and therefore the humans believe all Uwu cats are heat maniacs. So the humans decided to kill every single Uwu cat in the area including the children."

Female Higher Uwu Cat: "The humans were the ones who originally created the heat Uwu cats, but through research, it appears that humans also have the ability to regulate their own body heat in order to ensure the survival of their species. However, humans have a negative perception of Uwu cats, believing them to be evil. In response, humans have created a new species called Owo cats, which are considered to be good and not evil."

Male Uwu cat Higher Up: "Currently, the Uwu cat population stands at one thousand, while the Owo cat population has reached one hundred thousand. Unfortunately, humans are planning to eliminate all of us, which is why we desperately need your help as a sacrifice."

(End of Flashback).

(In his mind).

"I understand that the humans hate me because of a human decided to make a Uwu Cat have sex? Why blame us when they're the ones who did it in the first place."

He sighs as he gazes over at the outfit he brought back from the store that Daniel and Andrey visited. A slight smile creeps onto his face, but his attention is soon diverted to the maid outfit that the human planning to create a video instructed him to wear.

"I guess, I am the mistake in the end."

(Out of his mind).

(At Daniel's Home).

Waking up slightly, he gazes over the photos of his friends, his attention drawn mostly to Kai as he realizes he's about to collaborate with a human on a new video project.

Daniel: "I have to do something about it. I have to in order to save Kai."

He sprinted out of his house, racing towards the higher-ups' location on the other side of town, recalling the conversation he had with Andrey before his hasty departure.

(Flashback at the park).

Daniel: "I think it's time for me to take Kai's place, considering the immense trauma he's endured from being tortured and killed repeatedly. It's unbearable to imagine anyone getting desensitized to such suffering."

He says it calmly, his voice steady, while looking directly at his friend.

Andrey: "Are you certain about this decision, considering the history of humans subjecting us to torture and ultimately killing us?"

He looks at him with a mixture of fear and apprehension after recalling the numerous disturbing videos that showcased the atrocities committed by humans. Throughout the years, the two villages of Uwu Cats have developed a profound and deep-seated hatred towards humans.

Daniel: "I'm sure about this..."

He says it calmly, his voice steady, while looking directly at his friend. Even though his voice seems shaky and unsure.

(End of Flashback).

(At Kai's House).

He reluctantly puts on the maid outfit, despite it being completely out of character for him, and feels a deep sense of degradation as tears well up in his eyes, anticipating the abuse that is about to ensue. Furthermore, he received a letter from a human instructing him to feign romantic feelings towards other humans. The letter from the human states that he must constantly blush and utter a specific phrase that translates to 'I love you', and to capture their attention, he must perform a brief dance.

Kai: "..."

After reading the letter, he remained silent, feeling uncertain about its contents, even though he had no alternative but to comply in order to ensure the safety and well-being of the citizens. He heard a knock on the door once again, thinking it was Sai or one of his friends, but as he walked over to the door and opened it, his eyes widened in fear at the sight of a male human holding a gun, accompanied by multiple other people, signaling the ominous start of the video.

Kai: "..."

As he stumbled backward, his eyes widened in terror as he heard one of the humans' voices, firm and commanding, telling him to obey. Overwhelmed by fear, his face flushed a deep crimson as he forced a bright, artificial smile towards the humans.

(In the background).

Sai: "..."

His eyes widen in horror as he looks over at Kai, who's being mercilessly shot at by the humans after they hurled a barrage of insults, calling Kai disgusting and inhuman. He clenches his fists so tightly that his knuckles turn white as a deep-seated rage starts to simmer in his heart, threatening to boil over.

Sai: "THAT'S ENOUGH!"

He yelled out loud in anger and rage as he plunged his sword straight through the heart of a human, the blade slicing through the air with deadly precision. For some reason, an unknown energy began to emanate from the sword, surrounding it with an eerie aura. In the alpha wolf village, the inhabitants possessed extraordinary abilities that were deeply connected to their swords, each one imbued with unique powers and strengths.

Kai: "Sai?"

He manages to look up slightly, his body battered by the numerous bullet wounds that have struck him with incredible force. He looked up in horror after seeing numerous lifeless bodies of humans scattered across the floor, their limbs twisted in unnatural positions, and their faces frozen in a permanent expression of terror.

Sai: "I shouldn't be like my brother... I don't want to hate the humans... But these people deserve it. They're the ones who killed my mother... And now they're trying to kill you."

He glances at Kai, who's visibly shaken as he cleans his sword, but his attention is diverted to one of the lifeless humans, who's clutching a laptop and camera, indicating they were live streaming their encounter. His eyes widen in horror as he realizes that their actions have been witnessed by the outside world, and the devastating possibility that this could reignite the war.

Kai: "Sai why? Why did you come and save me? They're coming for us now."

His eyes well up with tears as he gazes at Sai, his heart racing with a deep-seated fear of what's to come, his entire being paralyzed by the uncertainty of the future.

(At the Uwu Cat Higher Ups).

Daniel: "I came in to volunteer as the new sacrifice."

He gazes upward at the higher-ups who are lurking in the shadows, their faces obscured by darkness.

This will continue in the next chapter.
