Lizardmen World: First Battle!
Lucian took a deep breath, coiling power into his legs. He suddenly stomped his right foot heavily into the ground.
"Boom!"
The earth beneath his heel shattered, splintering outward in a spiderweb-shaped crack.
The force shot him forward like a bullet. The air around his body compressed, creating a vacuum trail in his wake as he crossed twenty meters in the blink of an eye.
The nearest Lizardman barely had time to hiss in alarm, its scaled throat vibrating as its jaws parted.
However, before the sound could fully escape its maw, Lucian's spear blade thrust forward in a perfect line, the shaft blurring with speed while the tip glowed as sunlight glinted.
The weapon pierced through the air, releasing a soft-pitched screech that echoed through the forest as the spearhead drove straight through the Lizardman's chest like a pile driver.
"SQUELCH!"
Bright green blood erupted from the wound in a pressurized spray, splattering across Lucian's face and chest like toxic rain.
"Hssss—"

The creature's eyes bulged, its forked tongue flicking out one final time as it hissed before it slumped backward, lifeless.
"My first kill!" Lucian grinned as he licked his lips hungrily at the remaining five monsters.

The remaining five turned toward him in alarm, their stone blades and iron shields raised as their tails thrashed. They were clearly agitated.
Lucian clenched his spear tightly, feeling the vibration from the spear as he spun the weapon in his grip 360 degrees with fluid precision!
The air screeched as the spear's body moved through the air like a whip as he attacked a second Lizardman.
"CRACK!"
The shaft connected with a Lizardman's chest mid-lunge, the impact so violent that scales and flesh shook before caving in entirely.
The creature's sternum caved inward with a sound like snapping branches, its internal organs rupturing from the force.
The Lizardman was sent flying backward like a broken doll, its limbs twisted at unnatural angles as it crashed through a small tree fifteen meters away.

Without pausing, Lucian twisted his waist as he leaned toward his right heel. The ground shook from the force.
In that moment, he dodged a clumsy thrust from another Lizardman by leaning sideways, his spine almost parallel to the ground.
The enemy's stone blade passed harmlessly over his head, the whoosh of displaced air ruffling Lucian's hair.
Simultaneously, Lucian whipped his spear as he swept his blade upwards.
The strike connected directly to the Lizardman's throat, sweeping vertically from its belly to its jaws all the way to its head in a single clean cut.
The Lizardman's head separated from its body, toppling backward as green blood fountained heavily to the ground, staining the grass red.

A third Lizardman launched itself at Lucian from his blind spot.
Before he could react, a heavy stone hammer slammed against his exposed back like a sledgehammer.

The sound of bones shattering rang out like thousands of leaves being crushed as Lucian was blasted back like a ragdoll.
"Sssssss!"
The Lizardman who struck him lifted its stone hammer up as it hissed at the sky with its long, fork-like tongue.
Lucian felt his spine shatter and his rib bones turn to pieces and he lost all feelings in his legs.
However, before his airborne body touched the ground, his broken bones rapidly healed as they glued together with his flesh regenerated with insane speed.
"Bam!"
His body landed once on the ground, and his ribcage had fully connected back together like a jigsaw puzzle.
The second landing, and his spine had merged as good as new.

'Just what sort of crazy talent is this?'
Twisting his waist, he stabbed the top of his spear into the ground and stabilized himself in midair as the resultant force pushed him backward, drawing a long line on the ground.
A sensation of invincibility overwhelmed him, and he immediately threw caution to wind.
He charged directly into the midst of the remaining Lizardmen, his footsteps leaving small craters in the earth.
The ground trembled with each impact as he accelerated, his body becoming a blur.
"Come on!" he roared.
"Ssssssss!"
The Lizardmen hissed in anger and directly charged at him.
They surrounded him in a coordinated attack. Their spears, weapons, and hammers thrust forward from multiple angles while their tails whipped at his legs, attempting to unbalance him.
"Puchi!"
A crude stone spearhead plunged into Lucian's side, breaking through ribs to pierce his lung. Simultaneously, curved claws slashed across his chest, leaving five parallel claw marks that exposed the white of bone beneath.
Pain flashed through his face as blood escaped the corner of his lips; however, a maniacal smile appeared on his face as a series of notifications appeared in his mind.

Lucian threw his head back and laughed. "All that, for a bit of blood?"
"I am undying!"
Lucian roared like a madman.
Using the opportunity created by the stunned Lizardmen, he attacked maniacally.
Swirling his spear, the weapon cut through the air so rapidly the wind howled.
"Nine Revolving Dragon Spear: Second Move, Piercing Rain!"
With savage precision, Lucian's spear transformed into a blur as multiple spear shadows appeared and stabbed directly into the bodies of the three Lizardmen like bullets before they could even react.
In just a split second, their bodies were instantly filled with bloody holes.
In just under a minute, an entire patrol of Lizardmen was killed.
