(-10,000x Reroll) Mindfulness For Dumb People!

Reading the effect and the special ability that came with it, left Lucious speechless for a while. His luck was simply too good!

This was exactly what he needed. Now he won't have to be scared his mana would drain dry when he makes another Blood Shadow.

Next, he turned to the Meditation technique "System, reroll the 'Breath of the Void' technique."

The die spun once more, and again, fate—or the system—favored him. It landed on -10,000.

[Congratulations! -10,000x Reroll triggered!]

Lucian laughed with joy as he watched the die roll to 10,000 times. He was going to get the strongest meditation out there!

Suddenly, the scroll glowed an otherworldly aura as its ink faded, rewriting itself elegantly. The book thickened, its texture smooth as silk, as if imbued with celestial essence.

[Mindfulness For Dumb People]

▪ Grade: Nill

▪ Effect: Makes you a bit smarter?

▪ Special Technique: Doubt your intelligence.

"Eh?"

Lucius's smile froze. '

W-what exactly is happening?'

"Is this what the strongest meditation technique in the world looks like?"

"Maybe it's too complex for me to understand."

He grabbed the book and his eyes twitched when he first read the first passages.

"Dumb people, this is the perfect book for you. I know you think you are pretty smart but trust me, you are incredibly and irreversibly stupid. Even dumb is not enough to qualify how unconventionally and uniquely dumb you are but…."

"Pa!"

Lucian tossed the book away. "What sort of prank is this system playing on me!?"

He immediately checked the notification again and was surprised when he saw the text.

[Congratulations! -10,000 Reroll triggered!]

"Fvck! There's a minus in the reroll system?"

He couldn't help but curse when he saw this. And at the same time a bit sacred.

"If that's the case, I might as well not reroll anything important."

With a snort, he turned towards the amulet. It could store 40,000 units of mana and would be very useful to him when summoning Blood shadows.

With a soft sigh, he closed his eyes and went into meditation under two seconds. After which, he controlled the flow of mana, more like direct the mana flow towards the chakra point in his left hand which was holding the amulet.

In the blink of an eye, he felt as though his left hand was a black hole as his mana points was being drained by the amulet.

While it wasn't as fast as Baltzer sucking him off, the drainage from the amulet was still massively uncomfortable.

A few minutes later, Lucian instantly cut off the connection to the amulet when his Mana reached [Mana: 100/3100]

If it were his vitality the amulet was draining, then he wouldn't ever be tired. However he wouldn't need the amulet in the first place.

However, his mana wasn't infinite and he needed more just because of Blood Shadow.

"My future army, I'm here suffering for your sake! I hope you do the same in the future.

With that, he went into meditation as he tried to recover his mana through breathing. After about 2 hours, he finally recovered then he continued the process of pouring his mana into the Amulet.

Lorraine finally woke up later at night. She was too lazy to make anything therefore she ordered takeout.

Lucian was busy cursing the system, his future army and Baltzer before he heard a knock on the main door.

And when he went there to check, it was a delivery man. Although surprised, he took the delivery which contained plates of jollof rice, peppered turkey and various additional side dishes.

Lucian then tipped the young man with a gentle tap on the shoulder and words of encouragement before closing the door behind him stunned messenger.

He finally turned back only to see Lorraine, standing just an inch from his back.

He immediately shouted what came first to his mind.

"Hail hydra!"

If he didn't have good control of his body, the food might have fallen off!

"You scared me!"

"Is this pay back?"

Lucian scowled as he growled angrily.

Instructor Lorraine smiled cutely. Her eyes round as she put on an innocent expression. "Payback for what?"

Lucian cocked an eyebrow and a malicious expression appeared on his face. He immediately placed the takeouts on the diner table. "Is this how you want to play it, uhn?"

Seeing his devious smile. Lorraine instantly gave up. "Alright! Alright! Yes, it's payback for yesterday. You might have learnt the Shadow Phantom Scroll but I've mastered it."

Lucian chuckled as he remembered he didn't just learn the first level of the shadow phantom but the upgraded instead. However, he didn't say anything.

They set the table, serving the takeouts on better plates and got to talking.

"How are you feeling now? You kind of blacked out on me half way through."

Suddenly, Lucian smirked and asked.

Lorraine who was about putting a spoon of jollof rice containing pieces of sliced peppered turkey inside froze as her face flushed red.

"Y-you are a fiend!"

"My level's higher than yours but apparently, your stamina is way higher."

"Is your second awakening related to stamina?" She suddenly asked.

Lucian brows furrowed slightly. "Second awakening, I thought that was a myth?"

"Yup, it was but not until I saw you walk out the portal, alone, I realized the myth might actually be real."

"Even if you don't say anything, I already know it's related to having some sort of infinite stamina, giving your performance last night, all through this morning."

She said that without blinking her eyes but the tip of her ears flushed red.

Then she continued. "And don't worry how I'm feeling, my body's fully recovered. only slept that long cause it's been a while I got an actual rest."

Lucian was slightly surprised. Even he knew an ordinary person would have recovered so fast.

"Did you finally choose a University?"

The Blood Shadow Monarch nodded his head. "Yeah, I chose the Primordial Godslayer University."

Lorraine's cutlery slicing against the turkey paused for a second. Then she continue. "Understandable. They are the only one willing to accept anyone at anytime."

"But the death rate for their training and entry is about 65% to 70%."
