Chapter 95: The First Move

The next morning, the world awoke to a political earthquake.

A breaking news alert flashed across every major network:

"Chris Blackwood, the enigmatic business mogul, officially enters the presidential race!"

The media erupted. Analysts scrambled to dissect his sudden announcement, while social media exploded with theories. Supporters saw him as a revolutionary force, someone untouched by the corruption of career politicians. Opponents, however, painted him as a ruthless businessman with too much power already.

But Chris? He remained unfazed.

Inside Blackwood Tower, a war room had been set up. Ethan stood at the center, directing operations as massive digital screens displayed polling data, media coverage, and public sentiment. His political team worked tirelessly, drafting policy outlines, coordinating with influential figures, and preparing Chris's first major rally.

Chris entered the room, dressed in a sleek black suit. His mere presence commanded attention.

"Status update," he said, taking a seat.

Victoria Hale, his chief strategist, stood up. "Public perception is shifting in our favor, but it's still early. Some see you as a disruptor; others question if you have the experience to lead."

Chris smirked. "Experience? The last politicians had experience, and they failed. The people don't want experience. They want results."

Ethan nodded. "That's why we're launching a nationwide tour. Your first speech will be in New York, directly addressing the people."

Chris leaned back. "Then make it grand. I don't just want a rally—I want a statement."

Ethan's smirk mirrored his own. "Consider it done."

That Night – The First Rally

Thousands gathered in front of a massive stage in New York City. The air buzzed with anticipation. Banners with Chris's name waved across the crowd, and giant screens displayed the words:

"A New Era Begins."

The lights dimmed. A deep silence fell over the crowd. Then, a single spotlight illuminated the stage as Chris stepped forward.

He paused, letting the moment sink in.

"For years, you've been promised change." His voice was strong, unwavering. "And for years, nothing has changed."

The crowd listened in silence.

"They told you they would fix the economy, but the rich got richer while you struggled. They told you they would clean up corruption, but it only grew stronger. They told you they would put the people first… but you were always last."

He let his words settle, then took a step forward.

"I am not here to make empty promises. I am here to take action."

Cheers erupted.

"I am not a politician. I do not play by their rules. I am a man who gets results."

The crowd roared.

"Together, we will not just change the system. We will rebuild it."

The thunderous applause shook the ground.

And with that, the campaign had officially begun.
