Chapter 112: The New Order

Chris leaned back in his chair, listening as the King of England spoke. The conversation was formal, but beneath the polished words lay a deeper understanding—power had shifted.

"Your rise has been… formidable," the king acknowledged. "Many expected resistance, yet here you are. Unchallenged."

Chris smirked. "Because I planned for every challenge before it could arise."

A pause. The king wasn't a fool. He knew exactly what Chris had done—how he had dismantled his opponents, controlled the narrative, and secured an unquestionable victory.

"You have the world's attention now," the king continued. "But attention is a double-edged sword. Some will want to align with you. Others… will see you as a threat."

Chris's expression remained unreadable. "I don't seek their approval. Only their recognition of reality."

"And what reality is that?"

Chris's gaze darkened. "That I don't just hold power. I define it."

Silence stretched between them. The king exhaled, finally breaking the stillness. "Then we will see what kind of ruler you become, President Blackwood."

The call ended. Chris set the phone down.

Ethan, who had been silently listening from across the room, exhaled. "You just made a king acknowledge your dominance. That's not something most presidents accomplish in their first hour of power."

Chris stood, adjusting his cufflinks. "I'm not like most presidents."

Ethan smirked. "No, you're not. So, what's next?"

Chris glanced out the window, the city stretching beneath him. The presidency was only a stepping stone.

"Now?" He turned back, his voice calm but absolute. "Now, we reshape the world."
