Chapter 128: Securing the Board

Chris stood at the center of the White House War Room, the heart of his administration's strategy. A map of the world stretched across the digital screen, divided by alliances, economic power, and military influence.

Ethan adjusted his suit and pointed to the screen. "With Saudi Arabia in, we've established a foothold in the Middle East. But that's just the start. The EU is uneasy, China is watching, and Russia—well, let's just say they're testing you."

Chris smirked. "Let them test. They'll realize soon enough."

He turned to the intelligence chief. "Updates?"

The man cleared his throat. "The European Union is waiting for your next move. They expected you to follow the usual diplomatic channels. Instead, you've cut through them entirely."

Chris nodded. "That was the point. They don't dictate my approach—I dictate theirs."

Ethan tapped the screen, pulling up new reports. "China is preparing to send a delegation. They want to know where we stand on trade agreements."

Chris folded his arms. "We make them wait. Let them feel the pressure."

The Secretary of Defense leaned forward. "And Russia?"

Chris's smirk didn't fade. "Russia has always played a long game. They respect strength. We give them no reason to believe we're weak."

Ethan raised a brow. "So what's the next move?"

Chris turned to face the room, his gaze sharp.

"We establish dominance. Secure alliances that matter. Reshape the playing field before they even realize the game has changed."

Silence.

Then Ethan grinned. "Then let's get to work."

And just like that, the next phase of Christopher Blackwood's reign had begun.
