Chapter 329: An Unexpected Attack

Classic's POV

The ride home was smooth—until it wasn't.

Classic barely had time to register the sudden jolt before the entire car swerved violently to the side.

"What the—?"

The driver cursed, struggling to regain control as the sound of gunfire shattered the air.

Classic's instincts kicked in immediately. He ducked low, reaching for the compartment under the seat where his father always kept a weapon in case of emergencies.

This was one of those emergencies.

"Stay down, sir!" the driver yelled.

The limo's reinforced windows held—for now. But Classic knew they wouldn't last if the attack continued.

He peeked out just in time to see three black SUVs closing in.

His phone buzzed. Ethan.

"Get out of there. Now," Ethan's voice was sharp, controlled. "You're being targeted."

No kidding.

"Who?" Classic demanded, already scanning the surroundings for an escape route.

"We're working on it. Just hold on—backup is en route."

Classic gritted his teeth. He hated waiting.

The attackers didn't give him the luxury of time.

One of the SUVs sped ahead, cutting off their path. Another moved alongside them—a man with a rifle leaned out of the window.

Classic didn't think.

He grabbed the gun, rolled the window down just enough, and fired.

BANG.

The man dropped.

The SUV swerved violently, its driver panicking.

"Nice shot," Ethan muttered in his earpiece. "But you need to get out of that car."

As if on cue, the first SUV slammed into the limo, forcing it to a halt.

Classic barely had time to brace before the doors were ripped open.

Armed men. Masks. Military precision.

They weren't amateurs.

They were here for him.

But they'd made one mistake—

They underestimated a Blackwood.
