Chapter 335: Total Lockdown

Chris's POV

Chris stood at the head of the situation room, surrounded by his top advisors, military generals, and intelligence heads. The room buzzed with controlled chaos—but his word was final.

His voice was calm, absolute, and terrifying.

"Shut it all down."

The officials stiffened.

"Sir?" General Donovan, the head of national security, hesitated. "Are you sure? A full lockdown will—"

Chris cut him off.

"Every school, every airport, every seaport. Roads. Borders. Highways. I want this country frozen. Nothing moves without my approval."

The general swallowed. "That level of restriction—"

Chris's glare turned lethal. "Did I ask for your opinion?"

The man went silent.

Ethan, standing at Chris's right, nodded. "I'll issue the executive orders immediately."

Chris turned to Cole, who had been tracking the aftermath of the attack.

"The bodies?" Chris asked.

"Our teams retrieved them. Facial recognition is still running, but initial scans suggest they weren't acting alone."

Chris's jaw clenched.

"Find out who sent them. I want a name before the night ends."

"Understood."

Chris shifted his focus back to the national response.

"Deploy the military to enforce the lockdown. I want surveillance on every high-ranking official. No one leaves, no one enters. If anyone tries to resist—" He glanced at General Donovan. "Make an example of them."

The general gave a stiff nod. There was no arguing with Chris Blackwood.

Ethan finished typing on his tablet and looked up. "The executive order is being broadcasted now."

A moment later, screens across the room flashed with breaking news.

> NATIONAL LOCKDOWN DECLARED BY PRESIDENT BLACKWOOD

All schools closed.

Airports, seaports, and borders shut down.

Military deployed nationwide.

No movement allowed until further notice.

The entire nation froze.

Chris exhaled slowly, his fingers tapping against the table.

"Now, let's see who dares to defy me."
