Chapter 348: The Wildcard

At an upscale café downtown, Classic sat across from the girl he actually wanted—the one who had no idea what she was about to be dragged into.

She stirred her coffee, oblivious to the storm forming around her.

"There's something I need to tell you," Classic said, watching her closely.

She looked up, surprised by the seriousness in his tone. "What is it?"

Classic exhaled slowly. "My father has announced that I'm… open for marriage."

She set her cup down carefully. "What does that mean for me?"

Classic held her gaze. "It means you need to decide—will you stand by my side, no matter what comes?"

Silence stretched between them. Then, finally, she spoke:

"Do you really think it's that simple?"

Classic didn't flinch. "No. But I'm willing to fight for you. The question is—are you?"
