Chapter 515: The Rules of the New Order

Christiana's POV

I stood slowly, letting my presence sink in. The rulers at this table had spent their lives believing they were the highest authority in their lands. That belief ended today.

"You have chosen to align with the Blackwood Union. That means you now operate under our rules. Break them, and you will face the consequences."

I placed my hands on the table, my gaze sweeping across the room.

"Rule Number One: Absolute Loyalty."

"Your nations will swear allegiance to the Blackwood Empire. No secret alliances, no hidden negotiations, and absolutely no conspiracies against the Union. Betrayal will be considered treason. And treason… well, I don't need to explain how treason is dealt with, do I?"

A few rulers shifted in their seats. Good. Let the fear settle in.

"Rule Number Two: Economic Integration."

"All major trade agreements will go through the Union. Your economies will be aligned with ours, ensuring stability and uniformity across all member states. Independent financial policies will be reviewed and must be approved by the Blackwood Council before implementation."

"Rule Number Three: Military Supervision."

"No nation within the Union will engage in warfare without direct authorization. Your military forces will be integrated under the Blackwood Empire's strategic command. This ensures no unnecessary conflicts and keeps your borders secure under our protection."

The King of Italy frowned. "That sounds like military occupation."

I smirked. "Call it what you want. Either way, it's happening."

"Rule Number Four: No External Influence."

"No dealings with external powers who refuse to recognize the Blackwood Union. If a nation stands against us, you stand against them. There will be no backdoor diplomacy with organizations or entities not aligned with our vision."

The Chancellor of Germany exhaled sharply. "So, neutrality is truly not an option."

I turned to Chris, who remained silent but observant. He gave me a slight nod, allowing me to handle this as I saw fit.

"Neutrality is for those who wish to be irrelevant. And irrelevant nations disappear."

"Rule Number Five: Internal Stability."

"If uprisings occur in your nation, if rebellions begin to stir, you will put them down. If you fail, the Blackwood Empire will intervene. And if we intervene, your rule may not remain in your hands."

Now the room was truly silent.

"Your rule remains… as long as you uphold our rules. Fail, and you will be replaced. Simple."

The rulers absorbed my words, realizing what they had truly signed up for.

Chris finally spoke, voice calm but absolute.

"My daughter has spoken the rules. Now, Ethan will explain the benefits."
