Meanwhile, inside the Blackwood Union, the death rate had dropped to near zero. Our people had received the cure first, and while the outside world collapsed, we thrived.

I turned to Classic, who was reviewing the latest entry fee payments.

Chris had initially set the entry fee at $20 billion per nation, but Classic had tripled it—now charging $60 billion per nation.

So far, 57 non-Union nations had desperately paid, funneling trillions into the Blackwood Union Bank (B.U.K.). They had no choice. Either they paid or they died.

"How many more are on the waiting list?" I asked Classic.

He didn't even look up from his tablet. "Around 32 more nations are trying to gather the funds. Most of them are collapsing economies, though."

But money wasn't the only requirement.

Before entry into the Blackwood Union, each nation had to go through Christiana.

As the Dictator of the Union, she controlled who entered, how they entered, and under what conditions.

1. Military Compliance: Each nation had to disband their military and allow Blackwood Union Forces (BUF) full control.

2. Political Submission: Their presidents, prime ministers, and kings had to step down. The Blackwood Union would install new leadership.

3. Economic Overhaul: Their currency was abolished. They had to adopt the new Blackwood Currency (B.C.), which had Chris' face on it.

4. Total Isolation: All previous alliances were severed. No ties to NATO, the UN, or any former world governing body.

If a nation failed to meet these demands, their entry request was denied.

And without entry… they had no cure.

I turned to Chris, who sat in his throne, watching it all unfold.

"Your Majesty," I said, "more nations are still begging to enter. Do we keep the price at $60 billion, or do we raise it again?"

Chris smirked. "Raise it to $100 billion. If they want to live, they'll pay anything."
