[Please head to the crafting table.]
Arrows suddenly appeared on the ground before Lucius.
This was exactly like a video game tutorial, guiding him to do everything. It was strange.
No one had ever talked about this place. It was completely hidden in an alley, and there were all these magical things happening inside it.
Lucius could hardly believe it.
After a few seconds, he crossed another threshold and arrived in what seemed to be the backstore, where all kinds of equipment stood before him. However, most of it seemed related to Alchemy.
[In the Multiverse General Store, all ingredients needed to craft items from the catalog are provided to you unlimitedly.]
As the robotic voice uttered those words, all kinds of ingredients that Lucius had never seen in his life appeared before him.
He grabbed the first ingredient, which seemed to be red hair… but it was so long and so… beautiful.
[Phoenix Hair]
[Ingredient Rank: 1]
[Description: Hair that was carefully pulled from a phoenix. It has incredible burning effects.]
'Phoenix?' Lucius' eyes immediately widened.
That was a mystical creature that didn't exist on Earth.
'How is this store even real? How can it give me those ingredients? Ingredients that aren't even available on Earth?'
Lucius grabbed something else from the crafting table.
[Minotaur's Horn]
[Ingredient Rank: 1]
And something else.
[Minotaur Blood]
[Ingredient Rank: 1]
Quickly enough, Lucius realized that all those ingredients seemed to be straight out of a fantasy novel.
It honestly made no sense to him how this was even possible in the first place. But even then, Lucius didn't ask too many questions as the robotic voice began guiding him to make his very first love potion.
[Please raise the heat of the cauldron.]
Lucius did it.
[Now, please mix the Minotaur's blood with the Phoenix hair and drop it in.]
…
It continued to indicate everything he needed to do, and Lucius simply listened and did everything carefully, not once making a mistake.
One hour later, on the dot, Lucius was done, his hair disheveled as he came out of the crafting room.
"Ah… finally done!" he muttered as he held in his hand a small vial filled with a red liquid. "Now, I guess I just have to hope that it works."
[Please place your finished product on one of the shelves.]
Lucius walked and placed it on one of the empty shelves.
[All the preparations for the Multiverse General Store's opening have been completed.]
[Do you wish to open the Multiverse General Store?]
[YES]
[NO]
Once more, two options appeared before Lucius, who did not hesitate this time and pressed "Yes."
[The Multiverse General Store is officially opened.]
As those words resounded in Lucius' mind, the sound of a bell rang across the store.
The first customer had officially entered.
Lucius stood behind the counter, curious as to how someone had immediately found his store. He tried to peek, wondering what the customer looked like.
He imagined it would be a homeless guy who roamed the alleys in search of food in the trash.
But then… the complete opposite appeared in his field of vision.
A woman with long blonde hair was walking in his direction, her hair flowing in the air. Her green eyes locked with Lucius, who couldn't believe his eyes.
This woman looked perfect. Her body was perfect; she had nice curves and a slim stomach.
But there was something that Lucius immediately noticed: her ears. They were pointy.
'Don't tell me… is this woman… an elf?'
Lucius started to realize why the store had "Multiverse" in its name.
'Don't tell me that this store is accessible from all around the world! T-This is amazing!'
A smirk found its way onto his face.
The beautiful elf approached the counter, placing her arms on it, squeezing her breasts slightly in the process.
"Hm… are you the new owner?"
Lucius gulped. "Y-Yes, that's me."
"Hm, it's a human this time… annoying."
Lucius blushed as the elf spoke to him. It was the first time such a beauty had talked to him, and he couldn't help but feel extremely intimidated.
[New Customer!]
[Name: Alicia Amastacia]
[World: AB-2143]
[Age: 534]
[Customer Rank: 3]
[Description: Alicia Amastacia is the elven princess and someone who values respect above everything. She is known to be quite cold around strangers, often acting indifferent. She also despises humans and men in general.]
As those message panels appeared before Lucius, he realized that the person who had just entered wasn't a nobody. It was someone who needed to be well served.
He wasn't sure what a Rank 3 Customer meant, but from the description, Alicia was an elven princess—someone who deserved his absolute respect.
"What are you currently selling?" Alicia asked with a sigh, looking away from the blushing human.
'Ugh, a human and a man, the worst possible combination. I've already seen him stare at my chest. Disgusting.'
Lucius coughed slightly at the question and moved from behind the counter.
"Currently, I have one product available. It's a Love Potion."
Alicia frowned slightly. "Mhm, is that so? How much is it?"
Lucius froze for a moment as he realized he had no idea what kind of price he should be asking for it.
[Since this is your first creation, you can say that it is on the house, as the quality might not be perfect.]
'Thank you, system. You're the best.'
"It's on the house. If you want it, you can take it."
"Hm, then I guess I'll take it. Thank you very much for your generosity."
Alicia walked toward the Love Potion that was standing by itself on a shelf, but just as she grabbed the potion, she slipped on the ground. The love potion was launched into the air before falling, the cap coming off.
Red liquid flew out of it, and some of it even entered Alicia's mouth without her realizing.
Lucius immediately ran in her direction to make sure she was alright.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"
Alicia squinted her eyes open, and her gaze landed on Lucius' worried expression.
"Hm… since when were you so cute?" she said with a loving gaze.
