Chapter 18 – The Awakening of a Tyrant

"Jealousy, Tension, and the School's Darkest Secret"

The atmosphere in the classroom was thick with tension.

Himari clenched her fists under her desk, her nails digging into her palm. Satsuki was sticking too close to Haruto. She laughed at his jokes, leaned in when talking, and even touched his arm with every excuse.

And the worst part? Haruto didn't push her away.

"Ara, ara~ You're jealous, aren't you?" Aoi smirked, resting her chin on her hands.

"I am not!" Himari snapped, but her trembling voice betrayed her.

Aoi giggled. "Liar."

Before Himari could respond, the classroom door slammed open.

A familiar voice echoed through the room.

"Boss. They're ready. They're waiting for you."

Ryosuke.

The class turned silent.

Haruto slowly turned his head, locking eyes with his former "friend." There was no hatred—no fear—just calm dominance.

He stood up. "Where?"

"School ground. 100 of them. Armed. They were sent to kill you."

Murmurs of confusion and fear spread through the classroom.

"What the hell is going on?"

"Kill? Who wants Haruto dead?"

"Why is Ryosuke calling him 'Boss'?"

Haruto grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. He walked past the confused faces, not bothering to explain himself.

But before he could leave—

Satsuki grabbed his collar, pulled him in, and kissed him.

A deep, passionate kiss.

Gasps filled the room. Himari's heart dropped.

"Kill them all, Haruto-san," Satsuki whispered against his lips. "I love you."

Haruto didn't react—he didn't push her away, nor did he embrace her. He just walked out.

Aoi grinned. "Oh, this is getting interesting~"

Himari, trembling, reached out. "Haruto, wait! There are too many—"

Too late.

Haruto jumped out of the second-floor window.

School Grounds – Battlefield of the Past

The school ground was flooded with enemies.

One hundred students, all armed with metal pipes, bats, and even knives.

A single teacher stepped forward, trying to stop the madness.

"Go back to your classrooms!" he ordered.

Two students rushed him. A single punch sent the teacher sprawling onto the ground, unconscious.

Haruto landed effortlessly, his eyes scanning the crowd.

The leader of the enemy gang sneered. "So you finally showed up, bastard. Our boss sent us here to—"

BAM!

Haruto's fist caved in his nose before he could finish.

Silence.

Blood dripped onto the dirt.

The other gang members froze. They were expecting fear. Not this.

Haruto cracked his knuckles. "For years, I didn't fight. I kept my strength hidden. But today…"

His lips curled into a cruel grin.

"I'll remind you why I was feared in the first place."

Takashi Kiryuu—Haruto's new transfer student ally—stepped beside him. "Boss, let's take them down."

Haruto put a hand on his chest. "Not today. This time, I fight alone."

Takashi smirked. "Understood, boss. But don't die."

The gang leader finally recovered. "Kill him!"

They rushed forward.

100 students versus 1 man.

Haruto moved.

The massacre began.

Himari's Desperation & The Fall of 100 Men

Back in the classroom, Himari stood frozen.

She couldn't breathe. She could barely process what was happening.

The entire school had gathered to watch from the windows, witnessing Haruto tear through the enemy like a beast.

One after another, bodies flew through the air.

A knife-wielding opponent slashed at Haruto—he dodged effortlessly, grabbed his wrist, and twisted until a sickening snap echoed through the field.

Another student came with a metal bat—Haruto caught it with one hand, crushed it, and sent the guy flying with a single kick.

Every punch. Every kick. Every movement was ruthless, efficient, and brutal.

Students started dropping their weapons, realizing they were no match.

But Haruto wasn't done.

He grabbed one of the students by the collar. "Where's your real boss?"

The boy coughed up blood. "I—I don't know!"

Haruto's grip tightened. "Wrong answer."

A single punch knocked him out.

In just five minutes—the fight was over.

Haruto stood in the middle of 100 unconscious bodies, blood dripping from his fists.

The schoolyard was silent.

Then, someone clapped.

"Bravo, Haruto. You're still a monster."

A figure stepped forward.

Haruto's eyes narrowed.

"Looks like I was right," the figure said with a smirk. "You really are the same Haruto from middle school."

The crowd gasped.

Who was this new challenger?
