Summoning his smoke, he let it swirl around his body, creating an illusion—the chains seemed to vanish.

Silently, he slipped into the darkness.

His vision blurred as he collapsed, blood seeping into the dirt.

Elaine blew the smoke off her gun. "Sorry, kid. Can't have civilians running around when there see you."

"YOU LITTLE BITCH! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

Elaine raised an eyebrow. "What are you murmuring about, bitch? Don't tell me you're mad 'cause I hurt your little pet?"

Aika gritted her teeth. "No, you dumb bitch! I DON'T HAVE THE POTION TO WAKE HIM UP!"
