Chapter 23: The Return of the Federation

At the distant headquarters of the Interstellar Federation, Rain was standing in front of the huge command console. His gaze was fixed on the constantly flickering tracking signal on the screen. On the screen, a small red dot representing Kyle's position stood out conspicuously on a complex star map. There was a resolute look of determination in Rain's eyes, and the corners of his mouth turned up slightly, revealing a cold smile.

"I've finally found you, Kyle. This time, you can't escape," Rain muttered to himself, his voice full of confidence and arrogance.

In the past days, Rain had never stopped hunting for Kyle. He had mobilized all the resources of the Federation and used various advanced technical means to track Kyle's movement trajectory. Finally, after a series of complex analyses and pursuits, he had locked onto the mysterious planet where Kyle was located.

"Prepare the fleet. We're setting out," Rain turned around and gave the order to the adjutant behind him, his tone concise and forceful.

Soon, a Federal Fleet composed of multiple warships gathered in the vast universe and headed towards the planet where Kyle was located at full speed. As the fleet traveled through the universe, the blue light emitted by the engines illuminated the surrounding darkness, like a blue dragon shuttling through the starry sky.

At the same time, deep in the ruins, Kyle, Alicia, and the mysterious person were standing in front of the huge stone gate. Kyle stared at the mysterious patterns on the stone gate, trying to interpret more information from them. Alicia was vigilantly observing the surrounding environment, tightly holding her weapon in case of any accidents. The mysterious person stood quietly aside, his eyes deep, as if lost in thought.

"I can feel that the secret behind this door is closely related to the stardust power. Maybe this is the key to unlocking all the mysteries," Kyle said, his tone full of anticipation.

Just as they were about to explore the secret behind the stone gate, a violent vibration suddenly came from outside the ruins. Kyle and Alicia exchanged a look, and a hint of worry flashed in their eyes.

"What's going on? Could something have happened to the ruins?" Alicia asked nervously.

The mysterious person frowned slightly and said, "I'm afraid it's not that simple. Let's go out and take a look."

The three of them quickly headed towards the entrance of the ruins. When they arrived outside, they were stunned by the scene in front of them. There were Federal warships hovering above the planet. The weapon systems on the warships were all activated, and the black muzzles of the cannons were aimed at the ruins. Federal soldiers, dressed in uniform, were continuously descending from the warships and quickly formed a encirclement around the ruins.

Rain stood in the command cabin of a warship. Through the telescope, he saw Kyle and the others. A smug smile appeared on his face. He picked up the communicator and said, "Kyle, you're surrounded. Give up resistance."

When Kyle heard Rain's voice, a surge of anger welled up in his heart. He clenched his fists and shouted into the communicator, "Rain, you won't succeed. I won't let you take the stardust power for yourself."

Rain sneered, "Do you think you can stop me? Look around you. You have nowhere to run."

Alicia looked at the Federal troops around them and felt a little worried. "Kyle, there are too many of them. What should we do?"

Kyle took a deep breath, and his eyes showed determination. "We can't back down. Now that we have new powers, we can definitely defeat them."

The mysterious person nodded slightly and said, "That's right. We can't let the Federation's conspiracy succeed."

Seeing that Kyle had no intention of surrendering, Rain gave the order to attack. The Federal soldiers quickly rushed towards the ruins, and the weapons in their hands glinted coldly. Kyle quickly mobilized the stardust power and formed a solid shield around them. The attacks of the Federal soldiers hit the shield, splashing sparks, but the shield remained as solid as a rock.

"Everyone, be careful. We need to find a way to break through the encirclement," Kyle said. While maintaining the shield, he observed the surrounding situation. Suddenly, he noticed a weak point in the Federal troops' encirclement in a certain direction.

"Look over there. We'll break through from there," Kyle pointed in that direction.

Alicia and the mysterious person nodded. The three of them concentrated their strength and rushed towards the weak point. Kyle used the stardust power to repel the Federal soldiers in front of them, clearing a path for them.

However, Rain quickly noticed their intention. He promptly adjusted the deployment of the troops and strengthened the defense in that direction. The Federal soldiers formed a dense firepower network to prevent Kyle and the others from breaking through.

"Want to run? It's not that easy," Rain sneered.

Kyle looked at the firepower network in front of him and felt no fear. He took a deep breath and exerted the stardust power to the limit. The stardust power condensed into a huge lightsaber in his hand. The lightsaber emitted a dazzling light, illuminating the entire battlefield.

"Get out of the way!" Kyle shouted and swung the lightsaber towards the firepower network. The powerful force sent the weapons of the Federal soldiers flying, and the firepower network was instantly torn open.

Kyle, Alicia, and the mysterious person took the opportunity to rush out. But the Federal troops didn't give up the pursuit. They closely followed behind. Rain himself led a team of elite soldiers and joined the pursuit.

"Catch them at all costs. Don't let them escape," Rain shouted.

During the escape, Kyle and the others constantly encountered interceptions from the Federal soldiers. But Kyle, with his newly - mastered stardust power, resolved the crises one by one. However, the number of Federal troops was too large, and they gradually fell into a difficult situation.

"This can't go on. We need to find a way to get rid of them," Alicia said.

The mysterious person looked at the surrounding environment and suddenly said, "There's a valley ahead. We can use the terrain there to fight them."

Kyle nodded, and the three of them ran towards the valley. When they entered the valley, they found that the terrain was complex, with huge rocks and deep gorges everywhere.

"Everyone, scatter and use the terrain to attack them," Kyle said.

So, the three of them hid in different positions in the valley, waiting for the Federal soldiers to arrive. After a while, the Federal soldiers chased in. They searched carefully, with their weapons ready to fire at any moment.

Kyle seized the opportunity and launched an attack from behind a huge boulder using the stardust power. A powerful stardust energy beam shot towards the Federal soldiers, instantly knocking down several of them. The Federal soldiers were immediately thrown into chaos and started shooting in Kyle's direction.

Just as the Federal soldiers' attention was attracted by Kyle, Alicia launched an attack from another direction. The energy gun in her hand continuously fired energy beams, hitting several Federal soldiers. The mysterious person also didn't stay idle. He used his unique ability to shuttle through the shadows and launched sneak attacks on the Federal soldiers.
