Chapter 30: The First Danger in the Ruins and the Ancient Revelation

Kyle, Alicia, Morgan, and Cavin stood in front of the stone door engraved with complex patterns and symbols. Tension and anticipation filled the air. The stone door exuded an ancient and mysterious aura, as if telling a history that had been sealed away.

"This is the place. The ruins behind this door hold the key secrets about the stardust power," Cavin said solemnly, his eyes revealing a sense of awe towards the upcoming unknown exploration.

Kyle took a deep breath, stepped forward, and gently placed his hand on the stone door. He concentrated his mind, attempting to use the stardust power to sense the mysteries of the stone door. Under the influence of the stardust power, he could feel that there seemed to be a powerful energy surging behind the stone door, faintly echoing with the power within his body. However, no matter how he tried, the stone door remained tightly closed, showing no sign of opening.

Morgan carefully observed the patterns on the stone door. His gaze was focused and sharp. "These patterns and symbols seem to have some connection with the ones we saw on the volcanic wall before, but they are even more complex." As he spoke, he gently traced the lines of the patterns with his finger, trying to find a clue to open the stone door.

Alicia, on the other hand, vigilantly paid attention to the surrounding environment, holding the energy gun tightly in her hand. She knew full well that in this dangerous ruin, any carelessness could lead to a fatal consequence. "Everyone, be careful. I don't know if there are other dangerous creatures lurking around here," she reminded in a low voice.

Cavin took out a small device from his bosom, with various indicator lights flashing on it. He aimed the device at the stone door and started scanning. "Maybe this can help us find a way to open the stone door." As the device scanned, some data and images appeared on the screen, but Cavin frowned even more tightly. Apparently, this information didn't immediately give him the answer.

Just when everyone was in a predicament, Kyle had a sudden inspiration. He remembered some blurred images that appeared in his mind when he touched the fragment obtained by Sakka. There seemed to be similar symbols and rituals in those images. He closed his eyes and tried hard to recall those details, attempting to find a clue related to the stone door.

"I think I have some ideas," Kyle opened his eyes, his eyes shining with light. He began to gently touch the symbols on the stone door in the order he remembered. As he touched them, the symbols on the stone door began to flicker with a faint light and beat in a certain rhythm.

"That's it! Keep going!" Morgan shouted excitedly.

Kyle took a deep breath and continued to carefully touch the symbols. Suddenly, the stone door let out a low rumbling sound and slowly began to move. Everyone watched the stone door nervously, feeling both excited and tense. After the stone door was completely opened, a stale and mysterious aura rushed towards them.

"Finally opened," Alicia let out a sigh of relief, but her vigilance didn't relax at all.

The four of them slowly walked through the stone door, and in front of them was a long passage. The walls of the passage were inlaid with glowing blazing crystals, illuminating the way forward. However, the light emitted by these blazing crystals was somewhat eerie, flickering unsteadily, as if it might go out at any moment.

They walked carefully along the passage. It was so quiet around that they could only hear their own footsteps and slight breathing sounds. Suddenly, Alicia stopped. She felt a slight vibration coming from the ground. "Everyone, be careful. It seems that something is approaching," she said in a low voice.

As soon as she finished speaking, a group of strange creatures appeared in the passage ahead. These creatures were shaped like snakes but had six legs. Their entire bodies were covered with hard blazing crystal scales, and their eyes shone with a red light. They hissed and crawled towards the four of them quickly.

"They are Blazing Crystal Snake Beasts!" Cavin shouted, "They are very aggressive. Everyone, be careful!"

Kyle quickly gathered the stardust power and formed a stardust blade in his hand. "I'll hold them off. You find a chance to attack their weak points!" he shouted and rushed towards the group of Blazing Crystal Snake Beasts.

Alicia and Morgan also took action quickly. Alicia fired her energy gun at the Blazing Crystal Snake Beasts. Each shot hit one of the snake beasts, but the scales of the snake beasts were very hard, and the attack of the energy gun could only make them pause slightly. Morgan used his special ability to create some illusions among the group of snake beasts, interfering with their movements.

Cavin waved his staff and released streams of energy waves, trying to stop the advance of the Blazing Crystal Snake Beasts. However, there were too many snake beasts, and they pounced towards the four of them recklessly.

Kyle fought bravely among the group of snake beasts. The stardust blade waved in his hand, and each swing could wound one of the snake beasts. But the snake beasts didn't seem to show any sign of backing down. Instead, they attacked even more furiously. Kyle found that the scales on the abdomen of these snake beasts were relatively thinner, which was their weak point. He aimed at one snake beast, suddenly jumped up, and stabbed the stardust blade fiercely into its abdomen. The snake beast let out a painful cry and fell to the ground.

"Attack their abdomens! That's their weak point!" Kyle shouted loudly.

Upon hearing this, Alicia and Morgan immediately adjusted their attack methods. Alicia concentrated the shooting points of the energy gun and aimed at the abdomens of the snake beasts. Morgan used the illusions to attract the attention of the snake beasts, creating attack opportunities for Alicia and Kyle. Cavin also concentrated the energy of the staff at one point and attacked the abdomens of the snake beasts.

With the joint efforts of the four of them, the Blazing Crystal Snake Beasts fell one by one. Finally, the last snake beast was also eliminated. The four of them panted heavily. Looking at the corpses of the snake beasts all over the ground, a sense of accomplishment welled up in their hearts.

"These guys were really difficult to deal with," Alicia wiped the sweat from her forehead and said.

"But we succeeded," Kyle said with a smile, "Let's keep moving forward. I believe there must be more important clues waiting for us ahead."

The four of them continued to walk along the passage. After the previous battle, they became even more vigilant. At the end of the passage was a huge circular hall. In the center of the hall stood a huge stone platform. On the stone platform was an ancient book emitting a faint light, and some strange symbols were engraved on the cover of the ancient book.

"What's that?" Alicia pointed at the ancient book and asked.

"It looks like an ancient book. Maybe it records the secrets about the stardust power," Morgan said excitedly.

The four of them carefully approached the stone platform, and Kyle reached out and picked up the ancient book. The moment his hand touched the ancient book, a powerful stream of information flooded into his mind. He saw more fragmentary information about the stardust power, as well as some history of this ruin. It turned out that this ruin was once the base of an ancient organization that studied the stardust power. They carried out countless experiments and explorations here, trying to master the mysteries of the stardust power. But later, this organization was destroyed due to a sudden disaster, and the ruin was sealed away.

Kyle told the others this information, and everyone was shocked. "So, we're in the right place," Cavin said, "There must be more detailed information about the stardust power in this ancient book."

Kyle opened the ancient book and found that the text in it was written in an ancient language. Morgan and Cavin studied the text carefully. With their understanding of ancient civilizations, they gradually deciphered some of the content.

"It records a ritual that can enhance the stardust power," Morgan said, "But this ritual requires some special materials, and these materials may be hidden in other parts of this ruin."

"Then let's go find them quickly," Kyle said, his eyes full of anticipation.

Just then, some huge blazing crystal statues suddenly appeared around the hall. These statues slowly opened their eyes, and a powerful energy fluctuation began to emanate from their bodies.

"Not good. These statues have been activated!" Alicia shouted.

The blazing crystal statues walked slowly towards the four of them. Their steps were heavy and powerful, and every step they took made the ground vibrate. Kyle quickly put away the ancient book, ready to face the new challenge.
