Katon, with Morgan's help, moved the second body and piled it on top of the first. Fortunately, Morgan had swiftly caught the hijacker's sword-wielding hand, preventing it from harming Katon. He also quickly pulled the body back before the hijacker's blood could stain the cabin.
"You, okay?" Morgan asked Katon. He understood that Katon's ferocity stemmed from the hijacker's provocative insults about Katon's wit.
"I'm fine," Katon replied, checking himself. He wasn't checking for wounds, but for any traces of the hijacker's blood that might have soiled his clothes.
"Let's go!" Morgan urged, ready to hunt down the psychopath. Armed with the stolen swords, they told the other passengers to remain quiet. Katon and Morgan cautiously approached the psychopath's location. Inside the crew area, they found only the flight attendant tending to the senior flight attendant's wounds. The psychopath was nowhere to be seen.
"Where's that lunatic?" Morgan asked Edward, the flight attendant.
"He went into first class, sir," Edward replied, his voice trembling.
"Has anyone notified the cockpit crew?" Katon asked. Morgan, standing behind him, kept a watchful eye on the entrance to first class. Katherine weakly shook her head.
"Not yet, sir. I'm waiting for the right moment."
"Good. Morgan and I will go into first class and try to take control. It would be great if you could inform the cockpit crew to stay locked inside and send a distress signal," Katon whispered.
"I will, sir. I'll take care of it," Edward said with determination. Katon squeezed Edward's shoulder in reassurance and then led Morgan toward first class.
"Let's pray their boss isn't armed with a gun, Ton," Morgan whispered to Katon, sharing his concern. Katon shook his head, his eyes conveying, "It's hard to get a gun through airport security, moron!"
Together, they peered into first class. There weren't many passengers. Only three, and the oldest one looked visibly pressured. The boss hijacker held a sword's sharp edge to the elderly man's neck, while Warren was alternatingly assaulting the two younger men. Katon worriedly watched the two young men being repeatedly struck by Warren, who was laughing.
Katon used simple hand gestures to communicate with Morgan. He indicated that there were only two hijackers, matching their numbers. They just needed to be careful not to harm Stella and the three innocent passengers.
"Yeah, sure. As long as Morgan doesn't get hurt, right?" Morgan whispered. Katon pressed his index finger to his lips, signaling Morgan to be quiet. He gestured again, saying that if they were lucky, they'd gain two extra fighters. Katon glanced back into first class.
"If they're not unconscious," Katon gestured. Morgan rolled his eyes.
Katon shared their strategy. He'd enter from the right, while Morgan took the left. They'd attack the two hijackers simultaneously.
Seeing the entry positions, Morgan understood. Katon was taking on the most dangerous opponent, the psychopath. Morgan gestured, wanting to switch places. Katon immediately refused and began to sneak in.
"Holy shit!" Morgan muttered, following him.
Katon and Morgan cautiously moved through the aisle. Their targets still had their backs turned, busy threatening and intimidating Teguh Putra. Of course, the elderly man saw Katon and Morgan sneaking in. Katon used his index finger to signal Teguh Putra, including Stella, who stood tense at the end, now looking fearfully at Katon and Morgan. Katon saw that Teguh Putra's two bodyguards were half-conscious on the floor.
"Hopefully, they're not dead," Katon thought.
The hum of the plane's engines was muted in first class, making Katon and Morgan's steps more cautious.
Katon stared straight ahead. From the man's gestures, Katon could tell that Michael Warren, the psychopathic hijacker, was simply enjoying the chaos he created. Katon remembered Warren's sadistic face and crazed eyes, indicating he wouldn't hesitate to use his weapon. For him, other people's lives were just stakes in his cruel game.
Damn, the psychopath suddenly turned around.
"Huh?" he said cheerfully. A crooked smile appeared on his face, and he asked for the sword from the boss hijacker. The psychopath seemed delighted to find playmates. The boss hijacker turned around after giving the sword to Warren, his face questioning.
There was no more time. Katon and Morgan lunged forward before the boss hijacker could become more alert. A fight immediately broke out. Katon clashed swords with the psychopath, and Morgan, who had surprised the boss hijacker, now fought him.
Initially, Morgan had the upper hand, armed with the stolen sword, but it didn't last long. The boss hijacker was skilled in martial arts and kicked the sword out of Morgan's hand. Now they fought barehanded.
Morgan was punched, his head slammed hard against a seat's armrest by the boss hijacker. Morgan fell but moved quickly before the boss hijacker could kick or stomp him. Morgan rolled back and stood, retaliating with a right-handed strike.
On the other side, the sword fight was more terrifying and endangered Teguh Putra. Katon realized this as the psychopath fought him relentlessly, laughing maniacally. Every time Katon managed to slash the psychopath, whether just tearing his clothes or cutting his skin, he laughed harder. Katon was horrified. What kind of person was he facing?
Katon slowly backed away, creating a safe distance from Teguh Putra. He baited Warren away from the man he was trying to save. Warren's eyes narrowed cruelly.
"Hehehehe... why stop? Come on!" Warren lunged with his sword, and Katon ducked, slashing his silver sword upward, hitting Warren's forearm. The psychopath rolled away, laughing through his groans. Katon glanced to check on Morgan, who was fighting barehanded. He didn't know where Morgan's stolen sword had gone.
Morgan and the boss hijacker both threw jabs, recoiling simultaneously when their jabs landed. They stopped fighting, staring at each other, panting.
The boss hijacker's eyes scanned Katon and Morgan. He saw Warren lying on the floor, clutching his arm, groaning and laughing. He quickly realized from Katon and Morgan's weapons that his team members were likely dead. The boss hijacker felt out of control. His face turned crimson, and he let out an angry roar that shook the room. "You won't leave here alive!" he threatened, his voice echoing.
