Aria's cold expression prompted Damien to stammer out apologies:

"Aria, I'm so sorry! It's all my fault! You can hit me or yell at me, just please don't leave me!"

"I truly know I was wrong. I'll never lie to you again! Please, give me one more chance!"

Nolan looked at him with disgust:

"If you really knew you were wrong, you'd leave Aria alone instead of continuing to harass her!"

No matter how sincere his repentance seemed, it couldn't make up for the harm he'd done to me.

His belated affection was worthless.

Damien stubbornly gazed at me:

"Melody and I are over. She's still lying in the hospital, she won't bother us anymore!"

I was about to leave with Nolan, but hearing this, I turned back to glare at him coldly:

"Damien, you're disgusting."

He looked up and met my gaze, visibly stung by the contempt in my eyes.
