Chapter 5

Damien glanced at the closet, completely missing that most of the missing clothes were ones I usually wore, and said eagerly:

"Aria, let me help you."

I gently pushed him away:

"You just got back after being busy all day, go rest. I'm almost done here."

Damien immediately smiled, leaning down to hug me:

"Aw, you're worried about your hubby? Alright, I'll go rest. You should stop too."

After he left, I opened the window with a blank expression, letting the breeze disperse the unfamiliar perfume scent in the room.

Over the next two days, Damien came home to find me organizing things each time, and finally noticed something was off.

"Aria, you're still tidying up? Do we really have that much stuff to donate?"

Without looking up, I calmly said:

"We have too many things. It's a good chance to declutter."

"Now that you mention it, we do seem to have a lot of stuff. Well, if you want to donate, go ahead. It's for a good cause anyway."

"Okay."
