Revenge 1

3 months passed in a blink, Ye Feng's exam were over.

Now he was going to make Su Meng regret for his stupidity.

But Su Meng was no longer in Qingshan. He had returned to Beijing, to the safety of his family's wealth and power. Ye Feng knew that to reach him, he would have to leave Qingshan behind.

Ye Feng moved like a ghost through the city, gathering supplies and information. He needed to know everything about the Su family—their routines, their weaknesses, their secrets. He spent days observing their connections, bribing informants.

The Su family was powerful, but they were not invincible. And Ye Feng was patient.

He boarded a train to Beijing, blending seamlessly with the crowd. His face was unremarkable, his demeanor calm. No one would have guessed that he was a predator, a shadow stalking its prey. As the train sped through the countryside, Ye Feng's mind was already planning his next move.

Beijing was a city of grandeur and opulence, a stark contrast to the gritty streets of Qingshan. The Su family's mansion was located in an affluent neighborhood, surrounded by high walls and guarded by private security. Ye Feng knew that breaking in would be a challenge, but he had faced worse.

For days, he observed the mansion from a distance, noting the guards' routines and the security systems.

He learned that Su Meng rarely left the mansion, spending most of his time in his penthouse apartment. Su Hao, on the other hand, was a busy man, constantly moving between his office and the mansion.

Ye Feng's lips curled into a cold smile. He would start with Su Meng. The boy who had started it all.

Su Meng sat in his penthouse apartment, sipping on a glass of expensive whiskey. The Su family's wealth had always shielded him from consequences, and he had long since forgotten about the boy he had tried to have killed. He leaned back in his chair, a smug smile on his face as he scrolled through his phone.

Su Meng's penthouse was on the top floor. Ye Feng entered through a window, his movements silent and deliberate. The room was lavish, filled with expensive furniture and artwork.

A soft click echoed through the room, and the lights went out. Su Meng frowned, setting his glass down. "What the hell?" he muttered, reaching for his phone to use as a flashlight. But before he could turn it on, a voice cut through the darkness—a voice that sent a chill down his spine.

"Hello, Su Meng."

Su Meng froze.. He spun around, his heart pounding in his chest. "Who's there?" he demanded, his voice trembling.

From the shadows, a figure emerged. Ye Feng stepped into the dim light filtering through the windows, his face calm but his eyes burning with a cold fury. "Did you miss me?" he asked, his voice dripping with mockery.

"W-Who are you?" Su Meng stammered, his voice trembling.

Ye Feng smiled, a cruel, predatory smile. "You don't recognize me? I'm hurt, Su Meng. After all, you're the reason I'm here."

Su Meng's eyes widened in terror. "Y-Ye Feng? But… you're dead!"

Ye Feng leaned in closer, his voice a whisper. "Dead? No, Su Meng. I've been waiting. And now, it's time to settle our debt."

Before Su Meng could scream, Ye Feng clamped a hand over his mouth. "Shh. We wouldn't want to wake the guards, would we?"

Before Su Meng could react, Ye Feng moved. In a blur of motion, he was behind Su Meng, his hand gripping the back of the boy's neck like a vice. Su Meng let out a strangled cry, but Ye Feng silenced him with a sharp blow to the back of his head.

When Su Meng woke up, he was tied to a chair in the middle of a dimly lit room. The air was thick with the smell of blood and rust. He struggled against his bonds, but they were too tight. Panic set in as he realized where he was—a forgotten warehouse on the outskirts of the city.

Ye Feng stood in front of him, holding a small knife. He twirled it between his fingers, his expression calm but his eyes filled with a dangerous gleam. "Do you know why you're here, Su Meng?" he asked, his voice soft but menacing.

Su Meng's breath came in short, panicked gasps. "Y-You can't do this! My father will—"

"Your father?" Ye Feng interrupted, his smile widening. "Oh, don't worry. He'll join you soon enough. But first, we have some unfinished business."

Then he continued

"Do you remember Bai Shuang?" Ye Feng asked, his voice calm but menacing. "The girl you were so jealous over? The girl you tried to kill me for?"

Su Meng's eyes filled with tears. "P-Please… I didn't mean to…"

Ye Feng's smile widened. "Oh, I know you didn't mean to. But that doesn't change what you did."

With that, Ye Feng stepped closer, the knife glinting in the dim light. Su Meng's screams echoed through the warehouse as Ye Feng began his work. He was methodical, precise, and utterly ruthless. Every cut, every slice, was calculated to inflict maximum pain without killing his victim. He wanted Su Meng to feel every moment of it, to understand the consequences of his actions.

"You thought you could get away with it, didn't you?" Ye Feng said, his voice calm as he worked. "You thought your money and your family name would protect you. But you were wrong."

Su Meng's cries turned to whimpers as the pain became unbearable. "P-Please… I'll do anything… just stop…"

Ye Feng paused, tilting his head as if considering the plea. Then he leaned in close, his voice a whisper. "Anything? Then tell me, Su Meng… do you regret it?"

Su Meng nodded frantically, tears streaming down his face. "Y-Yes! I regret it! I'm sorry!"

Ye Feng straightened, his expression cold. "Good. But regret won't save you."

With that, he delivered the final blow, ending Su Meng's suffering. The room fell silent, save for the sound of blood dripping onto the floor.
