The Hidden World 2

A heavy silence filled the air as Wang Jie's words sank in. Wang Suyin clenched her fists. The fate of the Azure Sky Sect, and perhaps the entire cultivation world, hung in the balance.

After a long pause, Suyin spoke, her voice laced with disbelief. "But Grandfather, can someone really achieve this? There are many experts at the Heavenly Tribulation stage guarding our world. If someone truly starts destroying sects, will they just sit idly by?"

Wang Jie let out a weary sigh, his wise eyes filled with the weight of experience. "I understand your concerns, Suyin. But cultivation is not just about ranks. Some individuals, even within their current stages, possess the ability to slay hundreds of their equals. If someone like that emerges, do you really think anyone will be able to stop him?" He fixed his gaze on her and added in a grave tone, "Always remember, in every era, there are those who cannot be controlled—no matter how many forces stand against them."

He let his words settle before continuing, "I want you to leave the sect and enter the outside world. You must remain hidden until this storm passes. By the time it's over, I may not be around anymore, but you will still have a future. And when it is safe, you may decide whether to return."

Suyin's heart grew heavy at his words. Her voice, filled with determination, rang out, "I will not leave! If a catastrophe is truly coming, I will face it alongside you. I refuse to abandon my people!"

Wang Jie's face darkened. His voice turned firm, his authority undeniable. "Listen, Suyin. There will be no argument on this matter. I refuse to let our bloodline be wiped out. Even if everyone else perishes, you must survive. If, by some miracle, we endure, I will call you back myself. You are to leave tomorrow night. Gather what you need, and I will personally ensure you have the cultivation resources required for your journey. This is my final decision, and I will hear no more discussion."

Suyin felt her shoulders slump, her spirit momentarily crushed. Her voice came out hoarse and reluctant, "Fine, Grandfather. I will obey… but why won't you come with me?"

Wang Jie sighed deeply. His voice softened, carrying a tinge of sorrow. "I can't, Suyin. This sect is my responsibility. I cannot abandon my duty. If destruction is truly inevitable, then I will face my end alongside my people."

"But Grandfather—"

He raised a hand, silencing her. "Do not be stubborn, Suyin. My decision is final. There is no need to persuade me."

Then, in an attempt to lighten the mood, he smiled gently. "Perhaps nothing will happen. Maybe things won't be as bad as you granmother predicted. Go with peace in your heart."

His smile, however, did little to ease the ache in Suyin's chest. She gazed at him with teary eyes, her heart filled with unspoken sorrow. But she knew him well—he would not change his mind.

"I understand, Grandfather," she whispered, voice hoarse with emotion. Then, without another word, she turned and walked away.

Wang Jie watched her disappearing figure. When she was finally out of sight, he leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes, and murmured to himself, "I hope… I hope you were wrong this time."

The night was quiet, the wind howling gently as the silver moon bathed the land in its ethereal glow. The cultivation world, separated from the mundane world, remained untouched by pollution. The air was rich with spiritual energy—ten times more potent than in the outside world.

The dimensions of the cultivation world were not alone. Across Earth, there existed four separate hidden dimensions, each accessible through space gates. There were exactly sixteen space gates—four for each dimension—that connected them to the outside world. The cultivation world had four gates: two in China, one in Japan, and one in India.

However, these dimensions were not isolated from one another. Each had a singular gate connecting them to the others. Beyond the cultivation world, the remaining dimensions belonged to vastly different races—one ruled by vampires and werewolves, another inhabited by powerful witches, and the last controlled by beings known as Manipulators.

For anyone wishing to travel from one dimension to another, obtaining permission from both sides was mandatory. This system was carefully designed to maintain peace between the supernatural worlds. Each dimensional gateway was heavily guarded, with sentries stationed on both ends to regulate movement and prevent any unauthorized intrusions.

Similarly, the space gates leading to the mundane world were also under constant patrol. However, the regulations here were slightly different—entry into the hidden realms was strictly controlled, requiring approval, while leaving was unrestricted and did not require questioning.

The entire system was so intricately structured, so meticulously maintained, that it seemed less like an organic evolution and more like the work of a powerful force that had carefully engineered it.

Though the common people of the outside world remained oblivious to the existence of these supernatural dimensions, those in positions of true power knew the truth. Governments, ancient families, and influential figures maintained cordial relations with the inhabitants of the hidden worlds. After all, while cultivators, vampires, werewolves, witches, and manipulators possessed unimaginable strength, they still required resources from the mundane world to sustain themselves—whether it was rare herbs, technological advancements, or political cover.

There was always power struggle between these separate dimension but it never reached to point of full blown war. Also in between same dimension , it was not peaceful like vampires and werevolves hated each other. In Cultivation world the forces from Cultivators harnessing power from Darkness were in constant fights with other sects. Also the manipulators had the people from both evil and virtuous side who fought with each other. Only the Dimension belonginging to witches was in harmony for most of the times but it was the smallest from them.

This delicate balance of secrecy and cooperation had lasted for centuries. But like all systems, it was only as strong as the forces that upheld it. And now, an unseen storm was coming to destroy everything in its path.
