Chapter 7: You Bought these Wings?!
"Hey Kid! Where do you wanna go? I'll take you!" A taxi driver suddenly approached Mo Fan.
"Ah, it's fine old man. I'm not a tourist, I live here!" Mo Fan smiled.
Suddenly two beautiful and glamourous butterfly wings extended from his back, a small dust cloud erupted from Mo Fan's feet as he flapped the wings and flew away~
The taxi driver and the onlookers were shocked! Bo City was pretty much out in the boonies, so seeing a mage who owns Magic Wing Equipment was a very rare event.
They watched Mo Fan vanishing into distance in the blink of an eye!
"I guess, he knew his way around..."

Mo Fan had taken off strongly but he flew very slowly once he reached the altitude of 2km high.
He was enjoying the view of the city surrounded by Mountains from all four sides!
The breeze tickling his hair, the gentle rays of sun shining on him from above and the beautiful view of the evening city!

The Snow Frost Star Wolf was also enjoying itself on Mo Fan's shoulder. While the Lightning Calamity Fruit in Mo Fan's hand was also vibrating.

The lightning calamity fruit started floating on its own because of Mo Fan's telekinesis. He took out a book and a pen from his space bracelet and he started writing in it.

The Calamity of Bo City happened due to becoming the testing grounds of Black Vatican's conspiracy.
The disaster will happen 2 weeks before his High school Graduation ceremony!
The disaster was caused by the Yellow Rain, which was originally an Underground Holy Spring, which they obtained from the Spirit pond of Amazon Forest! And was later refined by the Head Priest Wu Ku into the Evil Spring!
Which not only boosted all monsters and made them 2 times stronger than before but also brought out their innate feral nature of destruction!
And,
The Bo City was originally a peaceful city surrounded by mountains on all four sides, which also served as a Natural ward to the monsters, keeping it relatively safe from the threat.
But just 30km outskirts of the famous snowy peak mountains of Bo City was the Nanling Mountain's region which further extended out to Hundreds of Kilometers in the thicket.
The whole Nanling Mountain's region was an infamous territory as it was ruled by the Wolf Monster Kingdom!
This was also the reason why only wolf type Monsters were found near Bo City.
The main point of entry of the wolf beast to the city was the Mingwen Girl's Middle School! And also the mountains, but the rest of wolves hoard arrived 2 hours late from there.
The main attack on the city was done by the pack of wolves which kept pouring into the city from the underground entrance of the school, which was made by the Black Vatican.
So first, just before the attack, I need to make sure all the people are evacuated, and then block that entrance...
Blocking the entrance is quite easy actually, he just needed to bring down the whole building and viola~
But evacuation was the hard part... He needed people with authority, who will listen to his words.
The only one with the authority to make that kind of call was, _Zhan Kong!_ The commander of Bo City' army!
He needed to make Zhan Kong believe him somehow.
This was the hard part! The only way Zhan Kong would believe him is by acknowledging his strength! And with a little help from a certain Hunter King helping Zhan Kong reach Super Level!
He also needed to keep an eye on Mu He and Yu Ang.
_I will definitely wreck Yu Ang's shit, three years from now at his coming of the age ceremony! I will make it so he will never be able to get up again~_
Mo Fan smirked just at the thought of it!
_Next part is self growth. Well, I found out an interesting thing recently about my Lightning and Fire Elements~_
A flame and a lightning arc sprouted from Mo Fan's hands. Both the flame and lightning somehow still retained their Blessings of the God seal! Which were enhanced by Ye Xinxia personally after she became the Goddess of Parthenon Temple!
It still had the base Buff of 2.5× for both of his element!
He hadn't found out about until just recently! He had ventured a little too deep into his spiritual realm and saw the seal clearly engraved on his very soul!
Ye Xinxia at that time wanted to buff all of Mo Fan's elements permanently but since he had already been buffed before, so it was not possible to Enchant his element's again. But Ye Xinxia performed an Impossible feat and was able to buff up one more Element and increase the buff of his previous element! She did faint after that.
"I guess I have the advantage when it comes to these two elements! For now, I just need to cultivate diligently and patiently wait for little loach to finish it's evolution.
Only after I reach Intermediate level, will I be able to exert some powerful moves! And even if Little Loach doesn't evolves in time, I can just use the Underground Holy Spring of Bo City to level up!" Mo Fan said.

But since Mo Fan was planning on feeding his three children very high quality milk powder from early on! Their strength would become even more terrifying than they normally are!
He had bought four huge traveling suitcase worth of High Quality Ice Elemental Soul Seed Fragments for his Lil wolf, since it can't really start absorbing soul seeds in it's infancy stage.
And he also had a shit ton of Lightning Elemental resources for his Lil Lightning Belle~
And he would buy even more in the future, so he's gonna need the assistance of its Little Loach to become stronger quickly so he can make more money!
And there was always the option of going and looting at the Summoning Plane~ hehe~
"Oh Right! Lil wolf, you need to hurry up and migrate to a cold place, so that you can keep absorbing the ice elements from there and become stronger naturally! Being where you were previously could affect your growth! So, I'll place you in the world of Ice Spirits okay?" Mo Fan told his wolf.

They wouldn't look down on them and would be a safe environment for his current defenceless wolf pup.

He transferred the Snow Frost Star Wolf in the realm of Ice Spirits after opening a small enough crack for his wolf to pass through.
The Snow Frost Star Wolf felt more at home in an environment like this where he was surrounded by the ice element and snow~
It felt like it could finally stretch it's small legs~
"Ok then, now let's go and visit Xinxia~"

Mo Fan flew over the city at a lower altitude and came towards the Ming wen girls middle school.
He noticed a similar scene... He immediately descended in the alley. His wings retracted and a small butterfly mark appeared his finger, which materialized into a ring~

The front side, at the foot of the hill, was roughly a kilometre away from the house that Mo Fan's family recently sold.
Down the hill was a small lawn that looked like a small park. Near an air vent was a swing made of twisted vines.
The swing was standing still, without the slightest bit of movement.
Sitting on top of the swing was a girl with long, black hair in a summer styled sailor uniform. The Almost spring wind messed her hair, revealing a silky white and delicate face. She had long eyelashes, exquisite nose, and lips glossy like jade.
She attentively looked forward in silence. It was as though she perfectly blended in as a portrait with the winter swings and delicate lotus. Cold and lovely, yet alone as her unique temperament blossomed.
Mo Fan's steps halted suddenly, without realizing when he started to enjoy looking at her like this. Seeing her sitting caused a warm current to surge witphin Mo Fan, flowing down the deepest part of his heart. At which point, he couldn't help but allow the corner of his mouth to curve.
"She's so young... And beutiful..." Mo Fan Murmured.
However, in this moment, Mo Fan felt something wasn't right.
His eyebrows immediately creased as he walked toward the elegant girl sitting on the swing.
The girl also felt someone walking over; however, as she saw it was Mo Fan, her face didn't appear surprised at all. She only gently laughed, as though she knew this person would be coming and she was here waiting for him.
"Big Brother Mo Fan." The girl called out with a sweet voice.
"Xinxia..." As Mo Fan walked over, a faint anger crept up his face.
"I'm sorry for not contacting you, for two months..." Mo Fan said apologetically.
He made a saddened face as he remembered that this type of bullying started happening with Ye Xinxia 2months back.
He completely forgot about it... His heart ached by the thought that she suffered for two whole months in this cold weather...
He got down on his knees to reach Ye Xinxia's eye level.
"You must have had your reasons, right? It's fine, as long as you're all okay." Ye Xinxia said with an innocent smile on her face.
The smile made Mo Fan feel even more guilty!
"Wait here, for a little bit longer! I'll end this once and for all"
"Those Degenerates are asking to be obliterated huh!" Mo Fan's anger multiplied, and he gazed at the staircase on the hill.
"There's a lot of them; forget it." Xinxia shook her head, advising Mo Fan to drop his anger.
"It's not possible to forget about it." Mo Fan said no more and followed the staircase up.
Ye Xinxia, who was sitting on the swing, wanted to pull Mo Fan away, but Mo Fan was already climbing up the mountain, seething in anger.
Ye Xinxia was familiar with Mo Fan's temper. He had always fought the neighbourhood bullies and ruffians for reasons related to her. He would fight against multiple people every time and return with wounds all over his body…
This was something she wants to see the least. He had always put himself in danger for her ever since she was in Bo city.
The ones bothering her this time weren't some small ruffian or bullies. It was clear these people had long ago dropped out of school. The people who messed around in this area were known as the Azure Bear Gang. They were for hire to the wealthy girls living around here; whoever they didn't like, they'd step on them.
There were at least five people over there, and two of them had very sturdy bodies; their bodies were several times bigger than Mo Fan's. If Mo Fan were to go up there to find them, he would definitely be beaten badly.

On Xu Bing's neck was a clear green coloured tattoo and, due to his short jacket that covered half of the tattoo on his neck, it seemed extremely eye-catching. You could tell with a single glance that he was a character that was hard to provoke.
"Yeah, if she wants to reject you, she would've walked away already…. King Flash, hahaha. Give me the money, double up!" Sitting on the other side, a young man wearing a cowboy hat with a hole said.
"Damn, this bullshit luck of yours."
"One more round, one more round. We'll play till the sky turns dark. I don't believe the girl won't panic." Xu Bing narrowed his eyes, enjoying the position of someone on top.

While he was starting to feel dissatisfied with the terrible taste of this group of boys, Xu Bing raised his head and saw a young man wearing a black t-shirt, walking toward the pavilion with a cold aura surrounding him.
_Eh? This guy seems familiar._
_Crap, speak of the devil, isn't this the brother next door to the girl?_
_This guy, I've been wanting to deal with him for the longest time for obstructing me from trying to hit on this girl. Who would've thought that you'd come to me by yourself? "Bro, we didn't bring weapons," The cigarette man moved closer to Xu Bing's ear as he faintly whispered.
"What the heck? Do you need weapons to deal with this thing? Beat him up real good. Per the instruction of Brother Zhao Kunsan, if we beat him up then it's on him!" Xu Bing slapped the talkative brothers on their forehead with his palm as he responded enraged.
The man with the cigarette felt wronged. _You were the one who said to grab the weapons…it seems like it's just a wordplay._
"Since it's something Brother Zhao Kunsan has instructed before….." The man with the jacket removed his jacket as he chuckled, revealing his white tank top and bustling muscles!
Mo Fan looked attentively at the five trash from Azure Bear Gang with a gaze that felt as though he was looking at a domesticated animal.

"Hmph, kid, let's put it like this; my interest in a girl like your sister is practically the luckiest thing in her life. Do you think anyone else is like me, Xu Bing, who doesn't care that she's a… a….cripple? There's no reason for a cripple to act like a Goddess; if there's anyone who wants her, then you should burn the money and thank Buddha!!" Xu Bing pointed at Mo Fan as he revealed his true intentions.
Xu Bing's patience had run out after all these years.

If you're still resisting, then we'll break your legs so you can be a cripple along with your sister!" the muscular man with a white tank top commanded.
Mo Fan kept quiet. But his eyes had lost the light.
He glanced at the pavilion.
In the middle of the pavilion, there was a lone wheelchair with poker cards on top of the seat.
Originally, Mo Fan was extremely angry from seeing these dregs using Ye Xinxia's wheelchair as a table for playing poker. However, now that he had heard these humiliating insults from Xu Bing.
"....ead....."
"Stop wasting time with this kid; go beat him up!"
"I, alone, am enough to deal with him, brothers; you just stand to the side and watch." The muscular man in white tank top began cracking his fist.
Mo Fan looked at them with extremely icy eyes.
But strangely enough his eyes had burning flames which suddenly erupted from his palms.
A moment later...
BOOOMM!!!
An explosion took place on the pavilion above the staircase.

Ye Xinxia was still sitting on the Swing looking at the direction her brother went. She was extremely worried about his safety. She didn't want him getting hurt because of her.
"Please be safe, Mo Fan..." Ye Xinxia closed her eyes and prayed silently for his well being.
The only thing she could do in this situation was pray for him. She felt so helpless and powerless today. She couldn't even stop her brother from going.
_If only I could walk..._ she lamented first time in a while about her disability. Whenever she was with Mo Fan, he never let her feel that she was disabled. He always treated her as equal and would take her out to play as well.
He would always be with her and never let her feel lonely even when her mother left her. There were some times where he was a bit perverted, but he never took advantage of her, and if she didn't like and told him to stop he will stop.
But there was one thing he never did in front of her. He never showed his sadness to her, even after that incident several years ago, he never showed her his sadness.
"I don't want to make him worried about me all the time, I want to stand by his side as equals and be with him in his tough times." Ye Xinxia thought to herself.
She didn't want him to think that she was unreliable and a burden. She wanted him to rely on her and share everything with her. But alas she cannot force him to do. Mo Fan was a tough nut to crack.
While she was lamenting on herself, she saw a huge explosion going off!
She was startled and caught off guard by it!
"Brot... BROTHER MO... Fan?" When she thought Mo Fan was caught up in the explosion she panicked and screamed but the next second she saw him walking down the pavilion in a perfectly unharmed way?
"Yes? What happened Xinxia?" Mo Fan just casually asked her.
She felt a little embarrassed for her scream just now.
"N.. nothing! Just that explosion right now, took me off guard..." She said with a red face.
Mo Fan wanted to laugh but he with held it.
"It's just my magic, nothing to worry." Mo Fan said to her.
"You awakened Fire Element, Brother Mo Fan?"
"Yup~"
Ye Xinxia's jaw dropped.
She was dumbfounded with awe as she saw the man standing in front of her with a silly smile on his face.
She was struggling to recognise that he was the same guy who grew up with her.
Ye Xinxia replied with a low voice, "Then…did you really become a Mage?"
Mo Fan nodded.
Ye Xinxia was clear on the situation at home, even more so after she became a member of the family and gave Uncle Mo Jiaxing more unnecessary pressure. According to Auntie, Uncle Mo Jiaxing had already sold their house. It seems as if their poverty had reached a definite point.
Both her and Mo Fan were still young; it's difficult for them to help Mo Jiaxing. What Mo Fan could do was study hard and become a genuine Mage; only then would they be able to relieve the current family crisis.
It seems like Big Brother Mo Fan was indeed amazing. He had unexpectedly learned Magic in such a short period of time.
"Big Brother Mo Fan is amazing! He learnt the Basic Spell of Fire Element in such a short amount of time!" Ye Xinxia was happy for Mo Fan!
"Ah, but I'm sorry! Your wheelchair was kinda caught up in the crossfire and got blasted apart." Mo Fan joined his hand and apologized.
"Ehh... That was the newer model brother Mo Fan. I don't have the money to buy it again." Ye Xinxia said.
The wheel chair was Ye Xinxia's legs, without it she couldn't walk!
"Haha, you don't need to worry about that anymore. I was actually planning on saving it for later but I guess it's okay."
Mo Fan removed his ring from his finger and presented it to Ye Xinxia.
"Here"
"What's with the ring, brother Mo Fan. If it's about proposing then it's not happening" Ye Xinxia said with a doubtful gaze.
"Haha, it's not that. Here put it on." Mo Fan grabbed Ye Xinxia's left hand and put the ring on her ring finger.
"See, the moment i give you an out, you do this kind of things" Ye Xinxia said with a pout!
"Shush now. Close your eyes and feel the ring" Mo Fan said.
Ye Xinxia did put up a front in front of Mo Fan but she always listened to him!
She closed her eyes and did as Mo Fan said.
"The rest of the part is all on you~"
Mo Fan said cunningly but Ye Xinxia couldn't listen to him anymore.
Soon the ring began to shine and scattered in small particles of light, which stuck to her back and formed a pair of beautiful golden butterfly wings!
Ye Xinxia who was still immersed in it, started floating and looked like an angel descended from the heavens!
"This is..." Ye Xinxia was shocked, she was floating.
She could control the wings with her thoughts, as if they were part of her body!
She flapped the wings and flew high up in the sky!
A smile blossomed on her face as she stared at the city! This was her first time seeing the city like this!
The city at night was especially beautiful with all the lights illuminating it.
She was very happy, that she shed a few tears. She couldn't believe that she would ever be able to experience this in her whole life before.

Mo Fan saw Ye Xinxia flying around joyfully. He was happy and worried for her.
"She won't suddenly fall right?" Mo Fan murmured softly...
But his worries were not needed. Ye Xinxia descended on the ground. Her feet touched the ground, but she was not standing, she was floating.
She only seemed as if she was standing on her two legs.
She hugged Mo Fan.
"Thank you... For giving me a chance to experience this moment!" She sincerely thanked Mo Fan.
Mo Fan hugged her back gently.
"I don't know where you got it from, but I'm extremely thankful, you can take this back now!" She smile pleasantly as she retracted the wings and gave the ring to Mo Fan.
"Wait what are you doing?! I bought these wings for you!" Mo Fan quickly said.
He refused to take it back and hurriedly explained to Ye Xinxia.
"You... Bought these wings?!"
