Chapter 23: Why Didn’t I Awaken The Wind Element!!!

Time quickly flowed by. The Students gave their precious youth to cultivating and studying diligently. While Mo Fan and the 'Bravers' were busy killing monsters and completing quests!

In school, the Magic High Exams, the waterfall that could allow the students to leap onto the gates of the dragons, was slowly approaching.

"Your comfortable days are quickly coming to an end, Mo Fan," Zhoa Kunsan said to Mo Fan, delighting in Mo Fan's misery.

With graduation coming, it would also mean the previous Magic Duel promise which was witnessed by the School Principal Zhu was nearing.

This tunnel was also the reason why Bo City fell so quickly because while the tunnel itself maybe small at the time it was made, the Colossal Eyed Ape Rats dug it and made it huge in size! Enough for thousands of One Eyed Magic Wolf Monsters to invade into the safe zone!

This was the one reason which led to more deaths, as the monsters who came crossing over the mountains required at least 5hours to reach the city! More than enough time for at least half the people to evacuate the city!

The Population of Bo City was around Forty-five Thousand! From which Ten Percent were Mages! They were not strong mages, most of them were also Basic and Intermediate Level Mages.

To save the city from a troop (10k) of monsters was basically impossible for them! But! There were a Handful number of Advanced Mages in the city too!

Those mages are more than enough to destroy a troop of monsters! But it's not like the Black Vatican didn't took them into account, they probably made this plan after taking into account the Overall strength of them as well...

So, in short, no matter how badly Mo Fan wanted to save this city, it was still going to fall...

But when it came to the residents of this city, then that was a different matter altogether!

He had already been making preparation for the calamity for two years now!

It was night time... Mo Fan waited out till late in the midnight.

He wanted to make sure that no one was there anymore, otherwise he would be deemed as terrorist if he gets caught by someone!

"Okay... It doesn't seem like anyone's here anymore." Mo Fan's face... popped out from the nearby alley. He was wearing a black hoodie and skull mask.

He cautiously made his way towards the school gate! Before entering he double checked if the security guard was there or not.

There was no one.

He jumped over the 3metre tall gate quite easily.

He swiftly made his way towards the Cafeteria building which was located in the middle of the academy. The cafeteria was just below the library which Ye Xinxia frequented.

He stopped at the entrance of the Cafeteria... He immediately looked towards the upper floor which was the library!

"This is bad..." He muttered.

He felt a feral presence in the cafeteria as soon as he arrived but he also felt a faint human presence just above it!

And he was pretty sure the creature in the cafeteria also felt it, he could feel the creature moving to the upper floors!

"Telekinesis!" A silver glow erupted from Mo Fan's eyes as his whole body glowed in it!

Mo Fan cast Telekinesis and immediately started floating.

He easily reached the window of the library and saw a girl wearing big circle glasses with braided hair, sleeping peacefully while resting her head on a Thick book which was on top of desk.

She must be having a nice dream since she was smiling in her sleep.

Unknown to her, her dream was going to turn into a real life nightmare in just a few seconds!

Mo Fan landed on the windowsill. He noticed the creature was already on the floor.

"Telekinesis!" He casted the spell again!

But this time instead of him, the glow covered the girl and she gently started floating towards him!

The 4metre tall Colossal Eyed Crimson Rat who was looking in the opposite direction from Mo Fan immediately turned towards him and sprinted like a mad dog!

"Shit! It's sensitive to Magic!" Mo Fan cursed!

There were some monsters who were sensitive to Magic... But normally monsters below Warrior Level were not able to sense Magic Being used. This means the creature was above Servant Class!

He grabbed the girl and back-flipped elegantly just a few moments before the Colossal Eyed Crimson Rat smashed into the wall!

THUD!

The attacking power of the creature was so destructive that it simply broke through the wall and landed on the ground in front of Mo Fan.

"A Warrior Level monster..." Mo Fan said as he observed the creature while running away!

He did not dare to fight against the creature as he had someone to protect.

"Telekinesis!" He immediately cast Telekinesis.

The mysterious silver glow covered his eyes and immediately gathered in his feet!

The Colossal Eyed Crimson Rat's speed was nothing to scoff at either! He was just a dozen centimetres away from Mo Fan!

It swiped it's shinning claws at Mo Fan ruthlessly but before it made contact, a mysterious power burst out of the targets feet directly on the Colossal Eyed Crimson Rat's face and propelled him forward while it went flying backwards!

BAM!

THUD!!

Guugghuuuuu!!!!

The Warrior Level Creature groaned in pain.

The Colossal Eyed Crimson Rat crashed into the cafeteria building! It's eye was bleeding as it directly tanked Mo Fan's concentrated Will Blast with it's head!

It was not able to see properly anymore because of the tears and blood. It frantically swiped it's claws in every direction around him.

DRRR!!!!

Mo Fan who was now floating in the air, chuckled when he saw the clumsy creature doing stupid shit.

He was covered in wild lightning bolts! Some of the lightning arcs danced around his body making him look more badass!

He slowly raised his finger and pointed towards the sky! The lightning bolts and arcs all over his body as well as the ones in the sky, gathered on his finger point!

THDRRRRR!!!!!

DRRRR!!!!

A white and black aura glowed on his body and formed a Yin Yang seal on his chest!

The seal was the Blessing of the God's Seal and the Blessing from the Darkness Spring!

Right now his Lightning Element was getting a base buff of 3.75 times which was further multiplied with the damage of the third tier Lightning Strike!

The moment the Yin Yang seal appeared on his body, the lightning on his finger point grew even more fierce and wild. It became a shinning white dot which glowed and illuminated everything in its surroundings!

His finger slowly fell and pointed at the Colossal Eyed Crimson Rat who had gone mad!

"Lightning Plasma Strike!"

The moment he gave the command the white ray of Plasma light burst out of his finger and pierced into the creature mercilessly!

Mo Fan modified the normal Lightning spell a little so that it could easily pierce the tough flesh of a warrior Level monster. He condensed his spell as small as he could!

SWII~ISH~

The Lightning plasma swiftly and directly pierced the creature's heart through his head.

Mo Fan clenched his hands into a fist. The moment he clenched his fist, The Lightning Plasma Strike exploded in its body!ro

The lightning erupted from the Colossal Eyed Crimson Rat's body as it bloated a little in size and scorched it's organs, blood and inner skin!

The hideous creature who was frantically waving it's claws around, suddenly stiffened and slumped down motionlessly. It had a small hole which was leaking blood profusely!

Thub...

"The base Amplified Damage of the spell was almost around fifth tier of basic spell without soul seed boost... No wonder the monster hasn't died yet, even though it can no longer move." Mo Fan Muttered as he kicked the yet to die corpse of the warrior Level monster.

All monsters basically had a certain immunity to Spells which were a realm under them... No, it was more simple, if the damage didn't exceed a certain level then the monsters will be completely unharmed by a lower level spell.

But if there were external factors boosting the spell, like his Blessing of the God's Seal and Blessing of the Darkness Spring, plus a Higher grade soul seed, plus 4th tier and above spells...

Then even a Fourth Tier Basic Spell further amplified by a peak Spirit Grade Seed and the Two blessing was more than enough to cause more damage than a Base Second Tier Intermediate Spell without any boosts!

Now it may seem like not much, but unlike the Intermediate Spell which Intermediate Mages could not shoot continuously, A Basic Spell which could cause damage a little above the base Second Tier Intermediate Spell, was a spell which could be casted almost instantly!

So even a Warrior Level monster couldn't be able to withstand the assault of being blasted by an Intermediate level Basic spell continuously!

"Come out little wolfy, it's dinner time!" Mo Fan opened a dimensional portal and from it p covered opped out a little white fur ball which was in snow!

It immediately ran towards Mo Fan for a hug! It sprang in his chest and started licking his face like a good little puppy!

"Ah! Hey~" Mo Fan stroked his soft and fluffy fur!

"Did you miss me that much?"

"I was a little busy these days... Anyways, you can go ahead and eat that! It's a Warrior Level monster so I'm pretty sure it will be a little beneficial for you!" Mo Fan said as he pointed towards the monster.

The Snow Frost Star Wolf sounded happy! It jumped from Mo Fan's chest into the air and quickly transformed into his original size!

His Puppy size looked cute, but his original size looked more majestic and elegant, akin to that of a true royalty!

The Snow Frost Star Wolf was now a 6metre tall absolute beast!

And even though he was not yet a Warrior Level Monster, it exuded it's aura!

While the Snow Frost Star Wolf was enjoying his meal, Mo Fan went towards the girl who was still sleeping peacefully... He was exasperated seeing her. He carried her out of the school and dumped her at the stairs of the building Ye Xinxia was staying at!

Ye Xinxia was not able to walk so, Aunt Mo Qing had rented a place near her school, so she could travel without much difficulty.

By the time he went back, Mo Fan noticed the Snow Frost Star Wolf had already finished eating the creature... it was now licking it's claws like a cat...

Mo Fan completely ignored the creature and went towards the Cafeteria's kitchen side!

"There should be a hole some—" Before he could complete his sentence, he saw a huge 4 diameter torn apart hole in the ground...

It was connected to the sewers which was further connected to the outside of the safe zone....

"How has this gone unnoticed till now?!" Mo Fan exclaimed.

"Ah right, of course, obviously the school staff is Infiltrated by the Black Vatican douchebags..." Mo Fan felt dumb at his own question the moment it left his mouth.

He jumped inside the tunnel to check it out. It had a very weird and rotting smell...

"Okay... To make sure the monsters don't infiltrate the city through these sewers... I need to block this entrance and also the one on the other side..." Mo Fan deduced.

He quickly climbed up and started searching the kitchen counter for something!

"Where are the Fire Magic Stones... Ah! There they are!"

He grabbed the Fire magic stones from under stoves.

In this world, Humans were not able to explore a lot of fuels, and the natural fossil fuels were mainly in demon creature's territories, even the cars ran on Lightning magic stones. They were all eco friendly unlike his science world.

The fist sized fire magic stones were highly flammable objects, that's why they're stored inside a box of magic formation, so as to not explode.

Mo Fan placed four crates of Fire Magic Stones near the entrance of the hole.

After placing them, he went into the hole connecting to the sewers and ran a few tens of metres away.

He sent his puppy back to the summon plane and a ball of fire quickly lit up in his fist!

"Fire Burst!" Mo Fan's eyes glowed with a fiery crimson glow of the fire element as he casted the third tier of Fire spell in an instant!

He launched the third tier fire spell at the entrance of the hole and immediately and frantically ran far away into the sewers!

The ball of fire was Swift and bright and exploded as soon as it came in contact with a wall!

A loud explosion erupted from the stones and blasted the whole cafeteria building.

The building collapsed on the cafeteria and buried it, not only the building but the interior of the tunnel also collapsed! It was already unstable in the first place.

Mo Fan who boosted his speed with telekinesis ran like hell, but the speed of the tunnel collapsing was even faster but he was also using telekinesis continuously to stabilise the walls and the floor ahead of him so that he could run!!

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUUUCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!! Why didn't I awaken the Wind Element!!!"
